You made me hungry Kent & Shan. I smoked some ribs Monday and used your dry rub mix and decided to do something different, so I mixed up your glazed ham mix and lightly glazed the ribs. My friend told me " that's best ribs you ever made." 😁 How can people give a thumbs down to the best channel on the youtube ?
“Whole Oregano” used in Mexican cuisine is typically Mexican Oregano, which is different from the European/Middle Eastern varieties. They’re similar, but Mexican Oregano is a little more intense after an initial bite. It’s a must for pozole, menudo, caldo de res... lots of things. (Also really good for you when you’ve got a cold.)
Гальванизированный Труп It is a stupid joke, but I upvoted because I appreciated the effort. I get that you don’t like the joke, but you can just let it be, and forget about it, cuz it’s not like anything will happen if you don’t comment like this on it.
To the Taco n*zis (I see 'em coming): the "authentic" part comes from the fact he's using soft tortillas and not hard shells. Yes, we obviously eat different tacos in Mexico, Cowboy Kent's just using what he has at hand and the ingredients he likes.
Even in Mexico it seems every region does it their own way, with their own flair and specific local ingredients.. This idea of "pure traditional" is pointless
@@ThatGuy-sc5rx nobody talks about "pure traditional" in Mexico.... Mexicans debate only if it's truly "authentic" within their specific region or style( whether the recipe was followed), and they debate wether who's style/ region is better..... Same with the Gino's with their pasta, and the japanese with sushi and onigiri, etc... At the end of the day Kent's tacos and chicken Alfredo are still "Tacos" and "Pasta" but there not "Authentic Mexican" tacos like Al pastor or authentic "ITALIAN PASTA" like cacio y Pepe. Calling these Authentic is the wrong nomenclature, these are Tex Mex tacos, and that's Ok, but don't call them Authentic because these don't represent true Mexican culture or a subculture/ region. Just like how pasta Alfredo and Chicken Parm don't represent real Italian cuisine.....
Mr. Rollins, hello from Fort Worth! I gotta tell ya, I sure enjoy your videos. My wife appreciates them to! It’s got me in the kitchen making all your good stuff and it gives her a break! I haven’t mastered them all, but I’m tryin! God bless you sir. Keep up the good stuff. Those baked potatoes and the prime rib in the oven are making us happy! Tacos are next!
authentic mexican tacos dont have cheese either. this is authentic american style tacos. but american style tacos usually use hardshell corn tortillas like the one they use at taco bell, not the small circle soft corn tortilla he uses in the video. soft corn tortillas are only used in authentic mexican street tacos with cilantro, onions, salsa. thats why this taco looks so confusing.

My son turned me on to this awesome cooking show. I love everything about it. Theres dfinitely an art in your type of cooking Kent. Cant stop watching your videos. God bless you and your family. Keep up your God given talent. Ill be watchng. Oh and love your hapoy dances.

Thanks for watching and glad your enjoying
Those look delicious Kent!!! Tacos are life 🇺🇸💯😎🔥
My Wife and I just ordered a cookbook and some kitchen utensils from your Amazon store. Cant wait! Thanks for the content and God Bless!
Thank you for watching Benjamin and God bless you as well
You should come to Mexico and try a legit ”Al Pastor” taco 🌮❤️
he didnt have any salsa, for the tacos, gusto mucho authentica mexican comida..con salsa!
Here in San Diego, the influence of Tijuana is everywhere. Taqueria Revolucion makes the best Adobada and Birria tacos. Fantastic.
Mmm...had some Saturday night. On a street called Basillo Badillo! Haha! So good!
B.S.!!! If you go to Mexico there is no "legit" al pastor because there is no concensus. GTFO with your snobbery !!!
Michael Garcia No shit, it’s walking distance
TODAY IS DEFINITELY TACO DAY. Liked the spice blend and guacamole. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing.
My oldest son was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Please pray for him. He can’t work while he’s being treated so making ends meet is a challenge on top of a challenge for him. Thank you
We just got through lifting him in prayer and you as well
Cowboy Kent Rollins Thank you so much. It’s a tough road. Blessings to you too.
I'll pray for him since I had the same thing 2 years ago. I was stage 3. Hope he's still with you and that the lord watches over all of you. No parent should go through this.
MIGHTY TASTY ! BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN !GOD BLESS YOU BOTH & THE PUPS ALWAYS ! ENJOYED ! THANK YOU ! GORGEOUS WEATHER 😍
Here I am, loving that recipe, can practically taste it through the video...have to make me, "some of that."
Watching you use foil for the tortillas gave me the idea to use silicone baking mats to roll them out between. It worked spectacularly! Thank you!
Great tip!
parchment paper would work perfectly with that press
Hello Cowboy Kent and Shannon hope y'all are doing well. Yum nothing beats homemade food thanks for sharing. Stay safe sending prayers 🙏 and God's blessings. Much love and big tx hugs from South Tx.
The way your hands smell after a few herbs have gone though them is just sublime! The blend of chilis is close to what I do, with the addition of a dried chipotle. Excellent recipe, and thank you so much.
Edit: I have never mastered the skill of making a round tortilla by hand. Maybe a press is the answer...
Purchased presses are both expensive and poorly made ... making one is fairly simple with very basic woodworking skills ... and you’ll never look back!
I am SO happy I found your page. Not only can you cook your caboose off, you have a fantastic sense of humor.
When you bite a Taco, and it bites you back that's a good Taco.
For sure
Wow!!!... as a 100% Mexican guy, I can say that those Tacos look delicious!!!... the meat and tortillas were perfect!!! ... thanks for sharing... God bless you and your!!! ... Regards from México!!! 🇲🇽
@Dr Pi Mx. Thanks for watching my friend
How about some nice asada, chorizo, guacamole and salsa... some grilled spring onions on the side and a cold beer.
I'll have some al pastor and a margarita!
@@ReikiontheRun My usual order would be 4 al pastor, 2 bistek and 1 chuleta, and either beer or a guayaba Boing.
@@JoseMVelazquez I'm into the al pastor torta lately! It's ALL so good!
@@ReikiontheRun You should try cochinita pibil, either in tacos or tortas. It is also marinated pork.
Next Taco Tuesday, I'm trying that recipe.
It is so cool and easy to follow. I love oregano in seasoning. Very atmospheric video next to the river.
The oregano speaks Mexican?
Thanks Cowboy for your joyful spirit. For sharing this video. I Love tacos. God Bless.
Thanks for watching Joseph. God bless.
This was the best alert my phone has ever vibrated against my thigh
Oh yes it is
😆
Lol
❤️❤️❤️
😆😆😆
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! God Bless you Cowboy Kent, Much love from Houston TX!!!!! 😘😘😘😘
Amazing recipe! You could've add that fine oregano (and cilantro) you had into the Guacamole, trust me, I was born in central america ;-)
Boy... those look almost good enough to warrant a drive to Hollis...! You got the touch Kent...! God Bless you and keep you safe!
Thanks my friend and we finally got a good rain, God bless you as well
I hate to be so *CORNY* but those homemade tortillas look *FLAT* out awesome cowboy!
And that taco seasoning mix is the real deal.
The best taco are those with these kind of homemade tortillas.
Гальванизированный Труп That’s a dad joke, not a millennial joke. He’s not doing anyone any harm.
Гальванизированный Труп It is a stupid joke, but I upvoted because I appreciated the effort. I get that you don’t like the joke, but you can just let it be, and forget about it, cuz it’s not like anything will happen if you don’t comment like this on it.
@@galvanizedcorpse somehow trying to act like Dad jokes and puns are somehow related to millennials is the biggest joke of all! 😂
Looks a beautiful day to do some outdoor cooking in Oklahoma it does. Have a great weekend folks.
Thanks Phil you too!
Soft Shells cuz you got no TEEFIES
When I would get them from the street vendors they included fried whole scallions. So good.
Taco Nazi.....funny
God bless Andrew. Thanks for watching.
"Eat moar CHIKIN tacos!" - The Cows
robert black chicken tacos are good sometimes.
@@citrus1973 I thought you said black chicken tacos 😂
Your videos are so entertaining. Thank you for the time and effort you put in. It has brought out my inner cast iron cooker again!
Authentic Tacos have cilantro and onions lol but still looks yum.
authentic mexican tacos dont have cheese either. this is authentic american style tacos. but american style tacos usually use hardshell corn tortillas like the one they use at taco bell, not the small circle soft corn tortilla he uses in the video. soft corn tortillas are only used in authentic mexican street tacos with cilantro, onions, salsa. thats why this taco looks so confusing.
Authentic tex mex
@@MrFuchew ohh right that makes more sense now....i guess those of us not from texas will never understand
@@MrFuchew he should rename the title to authentic tex mex tacos! So people dont get confused haha
@@MrFuchew those tacos are Cal-mex even though people call it tex-mex
