  • Learn how to plan your hunt, navigate to your tree stand in the dark or light, and use wind and thermals to keep from getting busted by that mature buck you are hunting. Slip into your hunting spot undetected and beat the mature buck you are hunting at his own game! Learn how to pick your morning or evening hunts and navigate to your stand with confidence this archery season.
Learn all the planning factors and then, watch and see how you can use a map, GPS or mobile hunting app, compass, and pace count (for estimating distance) to plan and execute every hunting trip you take while bowhunting this year. I will show you how to use topography, contour lines, and map layers to plan the perfect route to your tree stand or new hunting spot. Master using waypoints and learn how to set up your route to your hunting spot when scouting. I will show you how to take what you learn during scouting into a plan for morning and evening hunts.

I felt like I was back in the military teaching land navigation. I still use my Ranger beads, lol. Good job!

    This is super interesting stuff!
Iv never hunted but I do permaculture based homestead designs using topographic maps.
I map out the ridges and valleys of the land, to optimally design for water harvesting/access, then design the homestead around those sustainable water sources.
I would LOVE to apply my knowledge to the hunting side of things and help some serious hunters with establishing some optimal hunting sites.
