Thanks Stu! I had a blast trapping and spending time with you. If he has this give away next year don’t hesitate to enter; he’s the real deal. He went all out! He brought his thermal gear and we went night hunting for coyotes. Spent time skinning critters in the shed and on the trap line. He even gave me some of his top secret coyote bait and lure; I’m sure you’re all jealous! Then as a parting gift he left me a pvc fleshing beam! This was a lot of fun!
It would be cool to see a video on how to find weasels, what habitat they like and what their sign looks like, apparently we have them all over PA but I’ve never seen one in the woods and I’m out there alot!
I'm in Harrisburg area, I've set for em a couple times but never caught one but I've only seen a video of one from perry county, and heard of people seeing them in Snyder county and near Hershey. Set near rock walls is the main thing I've heard
@@chrismckinney1135 One was caught in a pine forest with a creek running through it caught along the creek..the other was by a ground hog hole was like 16 then so was just by accident wasn't trying to catch a weasel
I could not keep the mice and shrews out of my boxes. I wasted a lot of gas on mice. In the off season I use them for catching mice around my cabin seeing they like those boxes so much. They are good for Red Squirrels and chipmunks also.
I live in Ohio. (not bragging) lol We have to have 3 swivels on a Duke 550 to make it legal to use. How and where do you recommend doing that? I watch all of your videos that I can. Thanks for putting out the tips and tricks!
Trapping road right of ways in Wisconsin require you to have permission from the land owner. You can not just set traps anywhere. DOT owned highways are a no no. You must have been trapping in the National forest or one of the state or county own forests.
@@snapper3172 DIdn't mean to insinuante that you didn't. But the statement you made might leave people with the impression that you can just start going down the road and set wherever you want.
No they arent, they were years ago but now they are very clear. Doesn't matter the road, you need to have permission from the land owner. Its right in the regs this year under "special rule clarification". "Trappers must have permission from the owner of the land underlying any public road, street or highway right-of- way area before trapping the location. The Department of Transportation (DOT) has a policy that trapping is not allowed on DOT-owned roads."
You can still trap right aways on county roads. DOT does not have alaw on the books for it. I have been doing it for years and have know problem with Sherriff department or the DNR. @@camaro6810
However, in northern Wisconsin town roads as portrayed in this video travel through thousands of state, county and federal forest, public land where pubic trapping is allowed.
Same thought...too many of these tubers are turning into infomercials...youtube ads are bad enough...then IN the video they put their own ads...its worse than regular TV!!
Well he has run this channel for years without compensation and most trapping channels can't get monetized so I don't blame him for making a few bucks. It's a lot of work to bring us these videos

Lowes and Home Depot, in my area of NY, do not sell single cedar pickets. I'll try it with yellow pine at $4.98 a pop. Ahhh New York.
Looks like fun
Really cool!

I’m having lots of sprung rat traps with the big yellow pan. What am I doing wrong?
What are the weasel pelts used for?
Called ermine, used a lot for trim. look it up, pretty
Maybe a heavy duty magnet 🧲 to hold door . I have weasels here in finger lakes area N.Y. Thanks.
Do you have any videos on mink fur handling?
I’ve seen that used for squirrels. Those weasels is that the same thing as an ermine
nice job.
Where abouts in northeast Wisconsin? Green Bay, Oconto, Marinette, Abrams. I'm in Crivitz.
Why no Battery Nailer?
Great project and tool.
Awesome

Awesome fun, I trapped weasel for a few years. It's really a good time.
what do you do with them?
Man I can’t keep weasels out of my marten boxes this year. So many up here in BC right now.
Good video
If u have rabbits or squirrels grouse pheasant around u have weasels in most places
That's why they made number zero traps. But these are way cheaper.
How about a sparrow trapping video?

catching mice is part of it, its free bait for that trap

Right-of-way trapping rules in Wisconsin are actually "EXTREMELY" vague.
