The apartment is in Salamanca neighborhood, which is known as a residential area, so it is a nice and quiet area to live in, if you want to live near the city center. It is also close to Retiro Park, Calle Goya and Calle Velasquez.
The cost to rent a room in a shared apartment in Madrid ranges currently from 300€ to 700€ per month depending mostly on the area you would like to live in as well as the style of the flat itself. The average rate for renting a room runs around 475€/month.
