Hi , quite good video. I wanted ask generally for one person is 3k euros per month net is enough to live in Marid? I am thinking about this offer I got. But not sure yet. And I need to say that I like social life like going out on weekends for drinks and dinner and trying travel often around Europe.
Hey! Glad you enjoyed the video ☺️ Yes 3K € is definitely more than enough for a single person! That’s considered a high salary in Spain. You’ll have enough to spare to go out and travel 😊 You can check your estimated monthly expenses living in Madrid with this calculator: matutto.com/spain-guide/cost-of-living-calculator
Yes it can definitely be a barrier, although more and more people are speaking English in the city and there’s lots of Expats who don’t speak Spanish. I would say about 50% of the time you’ll encounter people who don’t speak English, so it depends how comfortable you are with that and if you’re willing to learn some Spanish when you move 😊
@@deofernandez6616 Happy to help! I am Spanish (although I have lived abroad all my adulthood) but when Nas moved he learned Spanish and it did make things easier!
@@NALBATRAVELS thank you.. lm afraid if l could find a job there if we move there in Madrid Spain. Spain is one of our prospective countries to move in from Lithuania because the situation here in Baltic countries are dangerous right now.
@ I’m sorry to hear that ☹️ It’s possible, I know lots of people who don’t speak Spanish and found jobs but I also know that the opportunities are much larger if you know Spanish! Maybe it’s worth learning a little, and that can put you ahead of the competition when looking for work. Knowing English can also be a strength to use when looking for work! Wising you best of luck 🙏
Hey! That highly depends on your nationality, your pension set up, and other factors. Recommend to speak to a tax advisor before making such decision as there’s many variables at play. If you decide to move to Spain make sure to check out matutto.com/move-to-spain !
Dang about the $4 for a coffee and breakfast. That's amazing!!! Today in the Denver, Metro CO I spent $8 on a not so great latte.
That’s crazy! Spain is quite cheap in comparison to most places in the US 😋
The groceries are very reasonable compared to large cities in the US.
Completely agree!
I dont think it makes sense to compare shoes price. They can be bought onile at good discount probably.
Temu😊
@6:45 that isn't Madrid, looks like the islands to me

Does language a barrier living there in Madrid? What are the hurdles living there as English speaking planning to move there?

@NALBATRAVELS thanks your reply. Are you learning Spanish? Was it difficult for you to communicate there?

The room price is actually expensive :/ is that a month?
Yep, that's per month... Spain in general has become a bit more expensive over the past few years :/
@@NALBATRAVELS oh if that’s monthly not too bad but I guess it makes sense because employment is low and paying jobs are low too 🥺
If I were an expat in Spain, how much would I be taxed on my pension?

Almost $8 for a gallon of gas? Wow.
It is irrelevant. In the european cities you drive cars with small 1-1.5L engines. You do ca. 40-50 miles per gallon in such car.
Hi , I want to start master in CEDEU university and I don't know if it's legit so can you please check it or can anyone help me please.
"That meal cost us..." not "costed." Not trying to be difficult, just helpful.
