Thank you Matthew Kang for the gift of K-Town! Your videos are awesome, big fan over here. It's the kind of food I crave in an ungodly hour of night. Still amazing. 😊
Amen! :)
Korean short rib is just insanely good. That was mouthwatering.
I love this series and it is best Korean food series out there in youtube!
You guys look like twins. The similar haircuts, glasses, shape of the faces, and the unquenchable passion for Korean BBQ. Wow, this is paradise !
i love these little grill your own stuff restaurants, i havent done that before
Looks so good, can't wait to try it.
That is so good! I’ve been to SK and I miss it so much! Best food ever!
I remember seeing a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants in Southern California years ago. But just now finding out what it really is. Had no idea it was like this wow!!
oh gosh, watching them eat just made me so hungry.
How do u dislike this... they make it look so good
In the 7th and fig shopping center in DTLA Park's BBQ has a sister food spot that you can get bowls of their KBBQ, perfect if you've never had KBBQ before and just want to try it, or if you want KBBQ but don't want to go sit down at a KBBQ and do all you can eat or whatever
It's called oleego
Oh how I miss Korea can't wait to visit on my own terms ^_^
*Anthony Bourdain "came" here all the time. -RIP-
Matthew always gives the best "Jizzin' my pants" faces.
I think Mike Chen should go up there and make a food review.
Tsering Shrestha Korea englishman i hope with Mike chen
This is a great Korean bbq place highly recommended. The meat is delicious!
This video couldnt be posted more perfectly, visiting LA for the weekend, gonna check this out
I'm drooling 🤤
Looks amazing.
It's still satisfying to see the meat cook
Does Mat Dol still exist? I used to love that place! 👨🍳👍
I'm trying to go to LA over new years. Is this the place to go?
Everyone watching is that guy at 1:55 standing in the distance... xD
원래 육회를 깻잏에 싸먹는거였나요?
Can you do a kkbq one for like the Dallas area
Witch is the best Korean bbq in the SGV. Or near?
Thin cut beef is gods work, wish it was more popular in the states
Park BBQ does have very good BBQ but recently tried Chung Ki Wa on Olympic and Arlington and may I say Chung Ki Wa is fantastic.
Roger Garcia same here. But it is abit too over priced for me
parks on vermont is so good
You you do a Korean BBQ in San Jose please
Koreans also eat raw liver soaked in sesame oil. I had it in a Korean restaurant and it was good. 😊
That's real good meat. How could it not taste great? That last bit with the meat on the bone is the best, and with all the collagen is healthy for you too, as our modern meat diet doesn't include it in the proportions we consumed it in historically.
Oh cool another video of the Korean guy reviewing sub-par Korean food and saying it's amazing.
He's playing the hits. Places that typically have the most reviews on yelp. The real spots are the gems.
Quarters be lit for a boys night
that wagyu short rib cooks & looks like bacon. i'd love to try it
that meat on the bone is literally the best part! I always eat that part!
That tartare looks good
Is it just me who thinks that Matt Kang should invite Frank Lee to this show from now on? He adds a lot of spark to the commentaries
The only difference between these two guys are the size of the glasses and the accent.
Kuemmerling Enthusiast 😂😂😂😂
word.

Even as an Asian American who sees Koreans (aka Diamond Bar) everyday, I agree haha
When you pointed your finger at psy's picture, i was thinking like. "why would you have to show us your face?" and then it hit me like, "oh that psy, the gangnam style"
He seems like a cool person. The kind of dude you would have over to sit down at the kitchen table for some good food and good conversation. What's the problem?
Park is definitely the best in Ktown LA but it's not a casual spot and reserved for special occasions because it is also the most expensive Kbbq
Hey bro ! If you want to try out one of the best Korean BBQ, I’d refer and strongly recommend you to 7’th Street Korean BBQ, on the corner of Vermont, and 7’th Street. Please give it a try then you’ll know that we’re in the same page & same boat.
0:01 PUPPY4U sign right under Parks BBQ 🐶🔪
Nomicro4u wtf are you doing here
Cool
Nomicro4u lol
Nomicro4u I
You again?
I am insanely jealous right now /droooooool
Another Korean BBQ video in LA?
I'd like to see Nick Solares try the first dish
Kang Ho Dong is the best KBBQ!
Yukhoe 😂😂😂
I literally ate there today. It truly is the best one. My wife and I have eaten Korean BBQ all over. Quality beef wins
2:28 - Holy fucking shit...
All u can eat?
Isn't it chosun galbee :v
Buzzfeed worth it here xd
Also, raw liver is eaten in Korea and it's delish. What do you guys know??
IMO the texture of a beef tartare suffers a lot if there is no sauce of any kind involved, and also it needs complimentary flavours compared to cooked beef, since there is no maillard reaction or other complimentary flavours inherent to the dish.
you didn't even link it
Yum :0
Dang got em
A difference between American and Japanese waygu is that the American isnt as fat and the marbling isnt as good as teh Japanese ones. Also, personally, I think American waygu doesnt have as much flavors than the Japanese. But American waygu is great and worth a try
Saint Andrew I agree. It's the process in which the Japanese tenderize and age their meat in comparison to other cultures. The fruits and vegetables reflect the same care.
Star bbq tho.... So good for the money
Whats the best KBBQ spot in Orange County?
honestly, it was good, (not as great as these 2 are demonstrating) but its so expensive now, im not sure its worth it
How expensive
the meatshow os the best show on eater
I wish we had allll these different, unique and amazing Asian restaurants in London. We only have fake overpriced restaurants😒
Nur La grande and annoying accents
4:15 thats what lil nas x said
Koreans love their egg - there isn't a dish that isn't improved by cracking on on top. But for pure joy - it's that thinly sliced garlic with the meat. Gaaaah
Where the tortiLLas?
psy ma' man... oppa LA style
parks quality really took a hit post-covid.
ok guys, I've lived in Korea for a few years, and there's a lot more than just bbq stuff?????
If u look closely the cow is still moving "fresh from market"..
Non so perche ma veder tagliare la carne con le forbici mi fa rabbrividire
I can't imagine myself eating raw meat!! yuk!!
That foo almost throw up after his tartar bite
RIP Anthony Bourdain
I never known about they sell it raw beef to customer in america. the raw beef's kind of delicacy food, it wasn't popular food. also many Korean doesn't like that, so normal BBQ restaurants do not boast to them.
Rip Anthony
"Pretentious" has become a word people throw around when they've already put themselves on a pedestal.
I do have to admit... this guy needs to diversify his subjects. Sheldon makes superior videos for Eater by doing more insightful features on a wide variety of cuisines.
Oh my! i dont know if i can eat raw beef.
almost same haircut and glasses :')
American hanwoo beef style (korean famous beef ) the best in the world !!!
Thank you for not saying Kobe
Yukhoe isn't the only raw Korean dish. There is soy sauce marinated crab that is raw
i actually thought both people where the same person
"we should try the meat by itself"
*Dips it into a few things*
If you put coca cola into meat 2 hour after that will be a lot of maggots
I hate to say this...but actually this is not Korean BBQ but rather it's more Yakiniku, Japanese BBQ because traditionally Korean BBQ is pork, not beef.
Very high quality dog, it tastes like cow!
3:39,4:14 that's what she said
the overcooked the wagyu meat, it looked pretty dry on the ssam HAHA
Do we really need 20 videos about korean BBQ?
jhlbjaaa yes Dammit, we do! In fact, the more the merrier! Beeeef!
Hell yeah
OMG you overcooking wagyu
Don't drag it out !!
I only know about Parks because of TigerBelly....any fans here??
0:55 "i think this is the only korean dish where it's actually raw" uhhh has this guy never heard of san-nakji(raw octopus), gae-jang(raw korean marinated crabs),etc and this guy is supposed to be eater's korean food connoisseur?
Chan Park yes, he mentioned seafood was commonly raw but not beef. He had a slight misstep
Um... every freaking video is kBBQ. We get it.
KBBQ is the entry food for non Koreans. Like Tacos are for Mexican food and if you think all tacos are the same, you're missing out.
No this series only. There are other videos in eater that are not korean bbq. Get it idiot?
RiP Anthony
sick
I like this host but agree that the content seems uninspired
It always bothers me how he always shove food straight to his teeth. Idk why.
