I recently just got this headset for the PS5 and omg they are amazing. They work great with the 3D audio. I had the Steelseries Arctis 1 before and in my opinion, I think these are a better choice especially for the PS5. He is true on the 7.1 surround sound on PC only, but with the PS5 having 3D audio and having those surround sound like features you cannot tell the difference. They are very comfortable and I have notice no discomfort, I have somewhat big ears. I have had Astro, Steelseries and Turtle beach in the past and I have never tried Corsair till now and they are very underrated. I really recommend these as they won’t break the bank and you get a good decent headset with good audio quality and comfort.

I bought this headset on sale just in case I might need it someday and I can say it's a big downgrade from the Hyperx Cloud 2 that I'm currently using. The headset is less comfortable than the cloud, has worse sound (everything sounds more hoarse with this compared to Cloud), and when it's on it has a slight buzzing noise. It is not noticeable when you're listening to something or gaming, but at those idle times where you are just browsing the internet the constant buzzing coming from this headset gets annoying. The only plus side is it has a better microphone than the Cloud2 and it is wireless. I still regret the money I spent though, should've bought another cloud
I just picked this up tonight and agree with you. I had a Logitech G933 that finally died but it's sound performance was so much better. Totally disappointed in this headset as I went with this review. At least it was on sale for just $110.
@D Chisholm Thanks for this, I wont buy it. I had the G933 and the audio was incredible, most headsets don't compare to that. Except for the static sounds and how uncomfortably loud the G933 is when you adjust it lol.

I have tried every fix in the book for my corsair hs70 pro wireless and they still are not working they are connected and everything my pc is telling me that they are putting out sound but I can't hear anything and the sound on them is maxed out how do I fix them?
I've had the same problem. Had to deinstall all drivers that I installed through iCUE and only use it without them. Wouldn't work at all with any drivers installed.
@@50Bellic You have to use a thin tooth pick or something and hold down the button on the USB receiver in till it turns on to pair it Ps You have to put the headphones into pairing mode

Had mine for over 8 months now, way better than their older units, none of the soft furnishings have started to crack and I can easily walk two rooms away in my flat which has solid brick walls between each room. Mic is pretty good but the wind break on it is piss poor and called off constantly aside from this I would like to have seen the ability of the cups to rotate more to rest flat on my desk when not in use ( I guess this is so they can sell those overpriced headset stands ) USB C would have been better the the Micro B

I just got mine to test the audio, the left driver shuts down when pressing the headset while listening with max volume. I think thats where they saved money
@@Baconer yup i play valorant and apex. The direction sound is flat sounding but there is a performance preset in the steelseries engine and is recommended for fps games. But overall no matter what preset, directional audio is great
if you buy these headphones do not install the icue software it breaks everything the headphones start cracking you get a delay on notifications on discord and much more shitty bugs because of the software
there is a new HS70 bluetooth model you might want to look into i read somewhere on reddit somebody used a otg dongle and plugged the wireless usb into their phone and got the HS70 pro wireless working

You CAN'T REPLACE IT AND Corsair will NOT send you a new one (even with warranty) because they know how cheap of a product they made, they didn't even update the firmware since the day of relaese that's how bad it is, it's disconnected but still being sold. SAVE UP your money and buy a cheaper wired one and NEVER GET A WIRELESS, especially this one or anything from corsair.

Micro USB is better than USB C due to it's locking feature. USB-C would fall out if your Low battery and still using the headphones while charging.

You could use Discord's audio settings to do this. There is an option to hear the way you sound.
