13 years ago, I walked away from a promising career as a professional dancer, TV presenter, model and actor.
13 years ago, I decided that I no longer wanted other people to be in control of when and where I got to work, or of how much money I earned.
13 years ago, I decided to walk a path entirely of my own making.
Yes, it was scary at times. (Still is!)
Yes, there were plenty of unknowns. (Still are!)
And no, there were no guarantees it would work. (Still aren’t!)
The only thing I knew was that I’d never be happy walking a path that someone else had ordained for me. That much I knew for sure.
