crawling is a blast I'm about to pull the trigger on 1 of these so nice and no body clips
They are very nice, love that they have no body clips as well, although not sure how they will fair when really muddy
Love Crawling now but for me it’s more about doing the bodies and the social side of it. Also it’s not bad exercise walking trails & climbing around in quarries for a few hrs. Cut some tennis balls in half for gates or wheel spokes also work great as you can stab them in the ground or bend a base into them for rock sections. Great vid chaps
Doing the bodies is another aspect of crawling as you say, not got into that side yet, will need to find time for it 😂
That clipless body is insane, body clips are too fiddly for my big mits and low patience 🤣🤣
Clipless body is very nice, have to give it to Traxxas for keep coming up with great ways to fix bodies to their RC cars
That was fun but i don't see where it would be all that relaxing. Looks like a pretty technical thing.
Think its just relaxing in finding a way through obstacles, different from the adrenaline of going fast and jumping high
It's an awesome looking thing, straight from the box, but for me, half the fun is building it first! It's the best looking TRX4 RTR, and I love the details, and the thought that's gone into it (the 'winch' on the bumper, and the plastic bars on the front wings to stop it scratching the body)
I've been out crawling with my son on our local heathland, and I find it very relaxing. Not sure it's as relaxing if you've got KT running over you in that mental Ryft of his!! 🤣👍🏻
Thanks - i did consider the TRX4 Sport but was told it didn't have the locking diffs so that put me off, maybe for a second crawler as also enjoy building the cars, then again i also need another Tekno 😂 this one does look so nice in the flesh, i made my mind up to buy it as soon as i saw it 😂 KT is a nightmare sometimes and that Ryft is crazy 😂
@@HardcoreRC yeah, the Sport is single speed with locked diffs, but I've never thought I needed to run with the diffs unlocked, and I trail mine a lot. I'm trying to decide on another body, as the stock caged one is a bit top heavy for some of the crawling I do. Looking for a pickup, but can't decide between old style or new style Ford or Chevy!! Decisions, decisions!! 😀👍🏻
@@roblowrie1969 True, didn't think of it like that, and to be fair we crawled with the diffs all locked up anyway 😂 mybe the TRX4 sport will be on the shopping list.
Its always tough having to chose new bodies, what every you do choose it will look great
@@HardcoreRC just have to choose a colour then! Now, what to choose!! 😂👍🏻
@@roblowrie1969 Blue 👍
Now you need a second crawler so they can both go at the same time 😂
Thinking of a TRX4 Sport
First, loving the videos. That crawler does look quite good and the body is awesome with the colour red👍
Thanks 👍 red is the best colour 👍
@@HardcoreRC wrong! blue is😉 lol, red is meant to be faster though 😜
@@brei.z Blue is deffo the best over all color, its why its the HardcoreRC color 😂 but out of the Orange and Red stock bodies Red does look the best
@@HardcoreRC haha, yeah I didn't even check what colours it came in but would definitely choose red over orange too :)
@@brei.z Looked at both in the shop, Orange did look good, but the red just looked better
Good video. My son -in law and I received crawler for Father’s Day this yes I got the white 6x6 and he received the yellow new bronco. Quicker then I thought they would be
Thanks and very nice, the 6x6 is an awesome crawler i have been told, looks to business as well, they are quick, and even quicker with a brushless system in them
@@HardcoreRC is that a video to come soon upgraded Bronco
@@robertlongley9153 Eventually, want to get the light kit when that is available in the UK as well
@@HardcoreRC waiting on light kits here as well
225 usd for the body!? I’d be hovering over that thing ready to catch it! That said I’m prolly gonna get one next year, it’s already been a very expensive summer 😁
I havent look how much the body is, it would scare me 😂
Hopefully picking up one to match my Cen f450 this week, sold a couple of my trucks to be able to buy one.
Very nice, i hope you like it 👍👍 should go nice with your CEN F450
Do like the red ,crawling is more relaxing than speed runs and cheaper in the long run, but I still love speed runs 👊🏻👍🏻
Indeed - much cheaper than speed running, but the rush you get when doing a full speed pass just cant be beaten
I love my crawlers! Rock crawling is how I got into the hobby in the first place. I love my trx4 bronco but it's the old school body
Nice!
We only just got into the crawling and loved it, do like the old Bronco as well 👍👍
@@HardcoreRC it's so much fun it completely it's own world compared to bashing I love it 💙 I do love my bashing to don't get me wrong haha
love this video, great opening edit
Thank you - think this is one of Jacks best edits, strange its not doing very well with view - i never understand UA-cam sometimes 😂😂
@@HardcoreRC You definitely know more about it than me, but maybe because it's crawler content? I watch 9/10 of your uploads because they're really good quality and I usually leave them learning something, but I don't know, Crawler stuff ain't really it for me? Or is it like the video just isn't being pushed to people's inboxes?
imo I reckon I'd love a crawler but I'm trying to cut back on RC stuff so I can actually learn to drive and get another job instead of rinsing my money on food and RC stuff lol (i'm actually selling a bit of my collection). Think it's the fact I can take it for miles on the downs in my area and go for a long walk and explore with it, and if something goes wrong I can chuck it in a backpack and take it back?
Either way, Jack did great, don't get deflated by the YT algorithm, it's not worth it. If anything, the views may ramp up in the coming weeks as engagement with this video increases?
@@michaelrc9098 Thanks for the kind words, that has picked Jack up as he was feeling a bit deflated, it is strange that some videos get pushed hard whilst others don't, but as you say, sometimes it could happen later down the road, it is what it is 😂😂
That is one of the great things with this hobby, you can just take the RC for a walk with you and have fun, if you like doing that I'm sure you would likely crawling through some local woods.
Hope the learning to drive goes well, then you can get to drive a real car 👍👍
@@HardcoreRC Great ideas, pushing to learn to drive so I can eventually travel out and meet fellow people in the hobby, it's quiet here in Wiltshire it feels. For context I'm 21 (22 Friday woo) and have had some hurdles with my health since the age of like 13, and in recent years my Mother's health more so, (except myself being diagnosed this year with T1 Diabetes, but I've been good at last). RC has been a great hobby I've followed for over a decade but I don't know anyone local (I've seen someone running a car a mile away on a field but I was in an actual car with a family member so couldn't stop to say hello), either way doubling down and getting on the actual road so I can travel out hopefully 2023 at the latest 😁
Keep up the content, by your growth you're definitely all going the right way 😁
@@michaelrc9098 Sorry to hear about your health and that of your mums, hopefully all will get better soon.
Happy Birthday for tomorrow - hope you have a great day 👍👍
Being able to drive doers make a big difference in meeting up with other people in the hobby, my normal Sunday is a 200 mile round trip, but its the best day of the week 👍👍
Great work guys
Thank you so much 😀 👍👍
Great that you guys have now got a crawler . Hope you enjoy doing some trail trucking .
Thanks - yes looking forward to just getting iut and having a relaxing time with it
I got mine a few weeks ago and really enjoy it!! My poor body is all scratched up though :(
They are nice, our body all scratched as well 😥
@@HardcoreRC at least they don’t crack because a new one is $220!
@@leroy5202 Yikes, now i wont want to take it out 😂
Got one last week as well and it is so easy to roll it over. Mine is also scratched up! Still love it though
@@verynick Never had another crawler so cant compare, i do know that others with TRX4 fit aftermarket heavier parts to lower the COG
It’s a lot more fun, relaxing and exercise when you get a group off you meet at a quarry or something. Dint think I would enjoy crawling as much as I do although a lot of enjoyment comes from doing bodies etc
Yeah cant wait to hit a really good area to go crawling with lots of us, get nice and muddy as well 👍
Epsom Surrey here! Any local meets or clubs local? Just bought a bronco 2021 last week 👌
You have Polyapes scout camp that runs a crawler course, which is also where the annual FamJam RC and Family event is help.
Polyapes facebook.com/groups/209455074368067
FamJam: facebook.com/groups/495404448827139
A little more finesse may be in order.
Our first crawler so we are learning, used to jumping high and going fast, but this is a nice change for us
Trx 4 is definitely an awesome Crawler out of the box. Of course it could use a few mods but what Rc doesn’t? Hopefully traxxas includes metal servo horn on all of they’re crawlers going forward. I stripped mine first real run on in my trx6 👊👊👍👍
Yeah it handles really well, just needs some weight being moved to front, but for the price really should be brushless and as you say metal servo horns
Pretty dang cool I'm not much into crawling but that looked a blast Cool RC looks great 🔥👍✌️
Treating a crawler like a basher ...
If treating it like a basher it would have been sent off skate park ramps, not sure how you call this bashing.
Nice video, liked and subscribed :)
Glad you enjoyed and thank you for the sub 👍
If you didn't scrape it up and tear off a mirror early then it wouldn't be Hardcore 🤘
That's very true, but its such a nice body 😂
Very nice video 👍🏻
Thank you 👍
Absolutely love my bronco not only can it crawl, it can bash baby 🤣😉
Nice, im scared to bash with this body
@@HardcoreRC if you get some bad scratches on it you can polish it up with a headlight restoration kit I use the one with the clear coat makes it look brand new
@@BNIRc Thanks, might give that a go as have a load of car polishes and a polishing machine
@@HardcoreRC thanks so much for taking my comment into consideration it was the McGuire's headlight restoration kit with clear coat that I used ,you can hit almost any body with a clear coat and it turns it almost to brand new it's a beautiful shine.👍 Happy RCing boys love the videos
@@BNIRc Thanks for the information, i love the McGuire stiff for my real car, normally smells very nice as well, almost want to drink or eat it 😂😂
Plan to buy it.
They are great crawlers, the more i drive it the more im liking crawlers, they are very therapeutic
Good video, guys.
Glad you enjoyed it
Well done guys!!!!! i wish i could afford that one
Thanks - been thinking about a crawler for along time, so bit the bullet in the end, was tough parting with that amount of money though
I want one now cuz your vid have two redcats
Hehe, our first crawler and really enjoyed it, love the look of the new Bronco and cant wait to get the lights for it as well
Where did you get that xt60 adapter?
Its an XT90, i made myself but you can buy most adapters from either Amazon on Ebay
When I first heard about crawling, it didn't appeal to me at all but after seeing some videos I am coming around but still not sure I'd like as much as speed and jumps.. what do you guys think? Fun to try or new favourite past time ?
We were just the same, didn't think we would like it, but decided to jump in when this new Bronco was released, We all really enjoyed it, just more calming to do, we wont be stopping the jumping, bashing and speed running but we all found it very enjoyable
It's fun to use strategy and skills and break them way less.
@@mossyhollow3732 It is, just such a different aspect to the hobby, love trying all new different things out.
nice 👍
Thanks for the visit
I saw it and I didn't like it. 😂 The old Bronco, the Bronco'79 looks much better! 😎
That's the beauty of opinions, everyone has one and everyone is allowed one 👍
@@HardcoreRC That's how it is! 👍 And just because I don't like the car, I think the video is bad. That’s really good! 👏 You have to be able to differentiate between them. ☝️
@@Wurstkommission Indeed, life would be very very very boring if everyone liked the same thing 👍
Too late
LOL, they are very very nice, Traxxas did a great job with he body
👍🏾💯🔥
Thanks 👍👍
Is it me or you guys post way longer than Kevin talbot? (No offense tho)
yeah they do
How do you mean by post way longer ?
@@HardcoreRC well kevin was also filming that day and he posted the same video on his pov there a couple days ago, he mean you guys take longer to edit the videos i guess
@@thefaded9474 exactly
Crawlers are boring no way I would have a ford in my collection that body instantly loses its value I built a scx10iii it just sits on the shelf so slow and boring
I get some people find crawling boring, we only have the one crawler just to have a change for the hard bashing etc, just adds a different aspect to the hobby
wow you're lame
