We Bought a 2024 Kia EV9

The all-electric Kia EV9 is one of the most family-friendly EVs yet. To best evaluate whether the EV9 can be a real-deal family hauler, we bought one for our editors to test with their different-size families over the next year. You can expect road trips, towing, fast (and slow) charging, winter testing and more. What are the specifics? We bought a 2024 EV9 Land with 280 miles of EPA-rated range, Ocean Blue Matte paint, 20-inch alloy wheels, all-wheel drive and 379 horsepower. How much did we pay? Just leased one. I’ve had Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, and sadly a Pacifica Hybrid.
Out of all of those, I would gladly drive this one over any of those. Smoother, quieter, faster, and more comfortable. Highly recommend anyone test drive. With the discounts it was actually cheaper than a telluride/palisade lease.

I drove one a few days ago when I was buying a different vehicle. One without a 3rd row. I didn’t think I’d like the ev9 but it was very good. A very nice 3rd row ev

Looking forward to this! It's great feeling and driving vehicle! But just been wrestling with the user technology experience which has been slightly frustrating so can't wait to hear what you have to say and if you can influence Kia to do updates to fix! Love that you are coming from a Tesla too as that would be a very relevant perspective.
