Hey Jason, thanks for sharing the adventure. Proves that prospecting involves a lot of testing. Some of those spots look very encouraging ! Best of luck to you and Rigby out there ! 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
Nice job Jason they don’t call it the sandbox for nothing lol 😂 l think the Root Balls from the trees 🌲 create a drop zone for the gold to drop out as the wave washes the black sand back towards the lake Another great video bud you’re getting better with finding eggs also it really takes an eye to find those and that one that you found yeah that’s an egget out for now ⛏⛏⛏⛏😂😎
"Fridge of Wonder"...cracks me up! As a young geologist, I spent a summer Keene dredge testing rivers/streams in California way back in the 1980's. Got paid for camping out, snorkeling and dredging. Tough life! We used a portable seismic 'hammer' unit to map the depths of the gravels. Also got to pick chunks, not small 'pickers', out of cracks in the streambed. Some of them actually made it into the sample bags! Since I worked for the government Bureau of Mines, we drove a Suburban marked with govt lettering. One time we saw an old skinny toothless guy dredging a hole on the Trinity River in northern California. Since there were a lot of angry claim holders and pot growers at the time, and nobody liked the government, my partner and I gingerly asked if we could sample his workings. "Sure" he said. Afterwards we asked what the claim name was to identify where the sample came from. "Hell if I know!" shouted the guy, "I'm poaching!". We got the heck out of there!
I think you just have gold fever. Beach rocks= water moving up on the beach along with the gold too. Yes! I would think when you find the rocks close to the waters edge, the gold would be close to edge of the shore line. Great video Jason.
Always entertaining, and always educational what a fun way to spend a day out on the lake shore. I can't wait to see the episode when you hit the mother load, and do the happy prospector dance.
Thanks for sharing, incredible how much variation there is in a small distance. You really have to look around. Well done, it will be good to see what you can pull with the sluice running

I was doing the same thing today only well south on Lake Michigan and let me tell you all, Jason makes this look easy! Finding a darn black sand seam that has Gold in it is hard enough. Great job Jason and Rigby! I'll get up to Superior one of these days.
