I find these vids with Gordon hilarious ..plus hes not the jerk some people think he is ...appears to be a pretty nice , humble man ..
My middle school teacher was the same tough but nice.
I always thought that till master chef Jr and saw him being silly
He is a lizard descendant.
🦎
He's not a jerk. He's an actor pretending to be a jerk.
People who think he is a jerk have never watched him with the kids. Or when he does something for people who are actually comitted to cooking.
If he is a jerk he is, most of the time, fully in the right to be a jerk.
That second employee is stellar. Fielded every question, didn't get flustered when he didn't know the answer, ADMITTED when he didn't know the answer, and was a good sport when Gordon did that awful takeaway joke. With an attitude like that, he's well on his way to success in any field he decides to work in, food service or otherwise.

gordon may seem rude sometimes but outside of his shows hes one of the funniest people ever. he knows how to make or take a joke like a fucking legend!
I honestly don’t think he’s rude. He’s passionate about food and the art of it. Along with service and standards to respect the food and the people eating it. As someone who works in the fine dining restaurant business, I understand how he is while in the kitchen, and during service.. which is mainly the only times I’ve seen him a bit more aggressive or assertive about things. He’s not much unlike other head chefs during service hours, especially when things get in the weeds.
It’s a persona for the television.
the crazy shit comes from gordon being mad in kitchen nightmares, hells kitchen, etc. is because the people hes yelling are supposed to know what they are doing
no he not

Fun Fact: in the kitchen he does yell but they have him go a bit extreme for dramatic effect. You see more of his actual chef side on Master Chef, he is actually quite lovely in person.
It wouldn't be _"Hell's_ Kitchen if the head chef wasn't a devil
Kitchen Nightmares UK also shows his more realistic side. When he's pissed off, it's genuinely pissed off and not something edited together to make the situation seem worse.
@@moddedinkling4168 like that time the customer kept on sending food back saying that it's not well done when it's done to shit , and the owner also kept on insisting that it wasn't well done
Not exactly dramatic effect. He just does get worked up and tries to get his message across because they do ignore him.
No that's because Master Chef are amateur chefs and Hells Kitchen are professionals, he expects more from the people on Hells Kitchen which is why he said he loses his shit on them.

@Falcon2 If it's British, why would you compare it with American standards? It's not like Americans go there on a daily basis.
Im american born and english raised- I noticed it too. Beaut customer service from that sweet boy, usually its dogsh*t in england, in america its pretty important.
As someone who has lived in both places, American service tends to be better because tipping is much more common and large.
