Hey love your vids and I follow u on tiktok and I subscribed to your channel, and I was wondering how old do your chickens have to be to lay eggs and I have four chickens so if u get this ty!!
Hi, I don't see any notes about the hydrogen peroxide solution you used and how you applied it. Could you please add this to your notes? How significant do you think this technique was in ensuring your high success rate? Thanks.
Hi Kevin, so sorry I didn’t put that into my notes. however I do think that my success rate was high due to the hydrogen peroxide as well as my method and numbers I used for my incubator. I did useHalf water half hydrogen peroxide. I put it in a small spray bottle sprayed it down let them dry out before placing them into the incubator. My success rate with this hatch was 100%. I will be hatching soon again and I will make a new video in regards to my methods. I’ll be sure to add the hydrogen peroxide into my notes as well
What would make you believe using hydrogen peroxide help hatch chickens. Hens don’t spray there eggs. The only thing needed to hatch eggs are fertile eggs, a heat source and proper humidity and time.
I have the Hhd 12 egg incubator and really having problems, only getting one or 2 chicks hatching out of 12. Have recalibrated the temperature, only used the more recent eggs, added a hygrometer, keeping a close eye and still having failure everytime. I filled the water trays right up for lockdown , but my hygrometer only reads 60-65, it won't go any higher. All the eggs had chicks in on day 18. Any ideas?
So what help me with the humidity yes you are I cut two small pieces of a yellow sponge and I wet that with a little water from a tiny water bottle. That helps keep my humidity up throughout the day and night and I will check on it throughout the day.
Hey! How do you maintain the humidity in the last 3 days? Because I add water until reach 65/70%, but then during the night it decreases until 40%… which I think is the problem for not hatching more eggs.
You’re humidity is dropping because your ambient humidity is too low. Keep a humidifier in the room you have your incubator. I have my incubator in my aquarium room.
Hi! i know its been a while since you uploaded to youtube but I was hoping if your next video can be a deeper dive into what numbers you used to get a great hatch rate. its going to be my first time hatching chicken eggs and I'm doing my fair share of research. i just find that this incubator has a hard time reaching 99.5 degrees for me. i would love a video on what you did for such a great hatch rate.
I think we all know why we clicked on this video 😏😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I received my incubator the other day.
Eggs all in and on.
But when I saw this video I thought it might be educational lol

@@EpicWinz I'm here to see the infertile eggs ready to be fertile. Mhmm
Thanks for the video. 👍🏻
What does spraying the eggs with 3% hydrogen peroxide do?

Hydrogen peroxide kills off a large amount of bacteria that would kill a developing embryo as well as enriching the egg with oxygen.
I love ur egs 😀
Very good content and nice to see thank for share+
