For me the big "light bulb moment" was realizing you had to do charged shots in Faruzan's rotations. That's where you get the energy particles from and that's how you keep the bursts going. Her skill alone doesn't cover it, unless you have another anemo particle maker on the team (Xiao, Kazuha, Jean, etc.). My Faruzan is only C2 (maybe she's C3) and she does her job.
I think you forgot to mention that the 4* Exile artifact set is very good on her if you don't have c6, where it gives 6 energy to everyone aside from her in the party which is very nice. The 2pc gives 20% ER like emblem, and its not like she benefits a lot from 4pc set effects of 5* artifacts until c6.
im pretty sure the only people that complain about faruzan's ER requirements are the same people that trash any artifact that doesnt have double crit stats. build your supports, people! it is absolutely possible to get 100%+ ER from sub stats alone if you farm for it. if you can get 70:200 crit on your DPS, you can also get 250%+ ER on your support. 4pc exile is also worth mentioning pre c6, especially in energy hungry teams. and no, the lower ER substats dont matter if youve been locking exile pieces with ER. my c3 faruzan is sitting at 260% ER and is always the first one to have her burst back.

I've played the dual carry Faru Heizou and it's plenty fun. I mostly onfield Faruzan for continuous staggers and grouping, and Heizou just switches to punch-kick-punch every 10 seconds. Hyper Faru also does comfy clears with Bennett, Furina, and Zhongli. I used it againsts the Thundering Manifestation and I just do charged attacks in the middle of the arena under Bennett's circle while protected by a shield. Solo Faru is also easy for the lower floors of the abyss. She's easily one of my favorite characters in Genshin, a member of my triple crowned gang.
My take: c6 is still huge for removing the need to use her charge shot. It's not THAT long, but it still feels clunky. The other supports that are better at c6 you brought up just add more damage, c6 faruzan becomes easier to use and takes less field time, it would be amazing even if it didn't buff damage at all. I've played c2 Fara with wanderer. I've played other archers (ganyu melt) Faruzan doesn't feel as good without c6. Looking at Faruzan and Sara, I hope hoyo stops designing supports that have to do chores until they get constellations.
Flip, don’t be ridiculous. A 270% ER requirement is still insane. You can’t say “Fav, ER goblet, and Emblem do most of the work for you” when that’s still ~50% you have to get from substats. That’s a lot. It’s already tough enough to get either an on set ER Sand or Crit Rate circlet, but then you have to hope you roll into both since you won’t hit your energy requirements without consistently triggering Fav (which is why so many people say 300%, because without a Fav proc, it is 300%, and relying on a Fav proc is not consistent or effective). So you’re looking at what is essentially near perfect RNG as you try to dodge every other substat in existence. Even damage dealers don’t have it that bad, because they have multiple useful stats: Atk/Def/HP, CR, CDmg, EM, and ER generally. Also, when every other support in existence needs at most 200% ER, requiring an additional 70% that what is average IS bad. You can downplay it all you want, but the truth is that what Faruzan prior to C6 (or at least prior to C4) is asking for is insanely unreasonable, especially for a support who’s supposed to be there to boost your damage and nothing else.
50 er is 2 rolls on everything besides the sands you're also only using a 2pc and the goblet can be any that roll er. Regarding fav she has 3-5 hits. (Skill, CA, Collapse, Burst Normal) Even assuming 3 hits from skill collapse and burst that is 67% chance to proc fav, 4 hits 77.46%, 5 hits 84%. And this is just using a crit circlet if you have 2 crit rolls you can even get to 90% 😭. Pre C6 she doesn't need a 4 piece or a synergistic goblet the odds are more in favour than you think even with low crit rate too. She needs more investment than most supports do fair but she is no where close to the needs of a damage dealer

Before c6 i needed 290 er to avoid doing that absudly boring charge attack(had her at c2). Now at c6 she groups enemies, gives particles, don't need to charge attacks with her for extra particles and now she does some damage, also i'm good with 240er now. Yeah, great difference.

The release of Faruzan has made my Sucrose Anemo DPS dream come true 😍 I tried getting her to C6 last banner, but I ended up getting Noelle to C5 (I don't complain, I love Noelle, I just wish I got her to C6 at least xD) Now, I am hoping to get Xiao this banner, then I'm gonna save up for more Sucroses and Faruzans later on

I have been using Faruzan C3 for like, a year now, She's still pretty great tbh, buffs my Wanderer's Dmg by a lot (17500 to 40300) whilst she still does good damage with burst (she does like 30-50k every burst) Edit: Energy is still a problem, but running two fav weapons (one on her, one on Bennett) is what worked best on me, My Faruzan's stats are 1.3k Atk 59.1% Crit Rate 95.9% Crit Damage 273.2% Energy Recharge Fav Warbow (R5) 4 Piece Emblem with an ER sands, Anemo Bonus Damage Goblet and Crit Rate Circlet
The difference of non C6 to C6 is so huge that when you get that C6 you never wanna experience the non C6 ever again. Her C6 basically fixes all her problems. At C6 you get - 40 crit dmg buff - Enables use of Tenacity - No need to use her charged shot anymore because of getting more particles. - the C6 allows procs the skill at intervals, creating energy particles and reapplying the Anemo res shred, which means you don't need the polyhedron to hit That is just so much of a difference. It's a crime that a character is so hard to use without the final constellation. For Gorou it's nice to have C6, but he works easily even at C0. Sara on the other hand needs C2.
I think the Xianyun team is more flexible then you give it to her. Bsicly the Bennet's slot is a flex slot. Bennet is the best for damage, but you already have a lot of Attack on Xianyun anyway so you can use a defensive option or sub-dps option as well. Less good, but sometimes I felt Layla just feeling better then Bennet and the team still cleared well. + No cyrcle Impact is a happy Impact.
No. Ive had c0 then C4 and recently c6. The other use case of c6 is not requiring your main DPS and other characters that much energy recharge because Faruzan supplies it during burst. There will be “this awkward phase of Faruzan not getting her burst back” because of her team’s usual comps. Even at triple anemo, you still battery her just to get her burst and you lose so much dps time just doing that. Faruzan has also decent scaling wasted on max energy recharge pieces just so she could get her burst back. The usual below c6 scenarios are setup with EQ, EQ support, EQ Support, EQNA NA OR EEQJ hypercarry then you go back to Faruzan doing E CA, rotate to someone who gives energy, and then you notice the other team mates still need to battery themselves. This is Faruzan’s issue, i dont know what this comment section is talking about lmao.
After a few lucky off banners she’s now C6 and it’s really sweet. But don’t get completely discouraged to use her before it. I got her to C4 on the first Scara banner but didn’t build her because all the “useless before C6” warnings. Let her just gather dust with Dori. Later on a slow batch finally decided who cares and build her anyway. And she worked just fine. I should have done it sooner. Not that the C6 isn’t fun to have :)

I played C5 Faru with Wanderer from his rerun till this banner then I got her C6 and have been trying her out with different teams ever since.. Yes. She is still good pre C6, I did clear floor 12 with Xiao and Scara with her at C5, it was do-able but not fun, was struggling sometimes too, but still.. very doable, but with that last constellation, all I can say is that she removes every single reason to struggle there. From my personal experience, she also becomes a lot more fun to play and goof around with, I played her with different builds such as a main dps one,team comps that were not that great pre C6, etc. and she is so much fun and comfy too! At C6, she is just everything you want from an anemo buffer and even more.. it is quite sad not every player is going to be experiencing her at that level ):

3 days ago I had a C3 Faruzan. The entire weekend I scraped off every bit of gem in the map I can get. I lucked out. C6 Faruzan achieved. She's finally god mode. Went inside Abyss to test it out. My Xiao had ult back up before it ended. This girl is broken af. The best thing is, I barely touched the map. Inazuma still has some good stuff left in Tsurumi Island and unclaimed gems in other island, Sumeru is barely 25-30% done, I haven't even touched Fontaine yet(only visited once to see the swimming mechanic), and Chenyu Vale is still unexplored. I am gonna be raining in gems for the next unit I want to get. This good luck and timing is too suspicious... as if the game is trying to hook me back in after leaving in a harsh note. No way it's just gonna give me a C6 Faruzan for my Xiao without stressing me out.
Woah I haven't heard anyone mention Heizou + Xianyun up until this point, it's definitely not the best but I was pretty shocked by how decent it did for being...well, a Heizou carry team. I'm just glad I can play gilf + babygirl while also adding in mommy without feeling terrible about the damage after doing Heizou EQ 😭😭

You only need to level her burst really as that's where her damage bonus comes from. You can stop around talent level 6-8 as the gain you get diminishes.
The part about C0 Faruzan having lower ER reqs expected at 2:21 can be a bit sus. Especially if you are funnelling the particles to Wanderer. In my experience unless it’s mobbing content where you’re getting lots of particles it goes south very quickly.
I think that's fair but I'm only curious as to why you would funnel wanderer assuming he's c0 ofc because otherwise bursting every other rotation with him should be just fine

Unless your sub c6 Faruzan is buffing some high con hyper invested anemo dps then she is not worth using her over another c6 support or 5 star support. On a c0 Wanderer team I would just use something like Wanderer using dps VV set, Fischl, Beidou, Bennett. You will do more damage in many scenarios. Just try it in this abyss for top floor. It is kinda the same like using Raiden with a sub c6 Sara. Just use c6 Fischl, or Mona, or maybe even Lisa instead. I would only use something like a c5 Faruzan if I had NO other option. The difference between them is kinda like comparing c0 Nahida to c2 Nahida.
If I can 9* F12 with a C0 Faruzan(level1) supporting my Xiao then it's good enough for me! I'm spamming every bit of pulls I can grab hoping for more Faruzans, and with few days left I'm just at C3. Oh my old self would've gotten a C6 by now(I used to have welkin+BP every month when I played HARDCORE during 2020-2021) but I'm now a returning F2P. I do feel the lack of energy particles for Xiao but as I said I can 9* comfortably no problem without it. So yeah, if you have a Xiao or Wanderer team, don't be afraid to add C0 Faruzan. She is perfectly fine at base. She's level 80 now, I gave her random Noblesse 4p ER artis and a Fav Warbow and she is gucci. Do I have to wait for a Wanderer rerun or a newer plunge heavy 5* for more Faruzans after this banner ends? Man how long will that take.
I'm the hyper faruzan salesman. Pulled her c6 (thanks Xy), never even considered xiao or wanderer, and now I mainly play her as onfielder (with furina and mh). It's really not a bad team by any means (it's like 52k with average investment at c6, which is pretty fine for me. I was at c1 before this banner and it sucked immensely). I'll even triple crown her since I was insanely lucky with my pulls.
See, my perception of Faruzan is that if you're in the position where you want to play Xiao or Wanderer (or any other cursed Anemo hypercarry setup like CR/Heizou/Kazuha/Faruzan herself/etc.,) she's basically invaluable even at sub-C6. I see C6 Faruzan as more of a requirement to get Anemo DPS to actually being meta options, as in general the DPS of Wanderer and Xiao are really only comparable with other top meta teams if you have C6 Faruzan. As someone without C6 even though I have Xianyun, Furina, and Xiao with PJWS, playing him still just feels underwhelming compared to my other options. My friend also has Wanderer and before he got C6 Faru he basically perma-benched him. I think that's what makes it so hard for me to really judge how strong Faruzan is. If your reference is anemo teams, she's probably basically the strongest support in the game. But if you had to choose between a bunch of teams at your disposal, you'd probably not choose anemo hyper in the first place unless you have C6 Faruzan or some personal attraction to that character 🙃
Yea idk flip faruzan c6 for c0 mouche does feel like a big deal. He can clear without her but he really does feel like he’s lacking an identity compared to other carrys with no c6 supports.
Look man, some 4★ characters just feel awful without their key Constellation. I lost access to my old account and had to start all over and holy crap I didn't realize how bad so many 4★ characters felt without said Constellation. C4 Thoma, C6 Noelle, C4 Xiangling, and now C6 Faruzan.
Faruzan is still usable even without cons. People don't realize that just because cons are good, doesn't mean that character is bad. The kit is good. If you can't C6 her, then grind and see what will work best for her. Sometimes i feel like people are forgetting that you need to actually put effort if you want results.
She's decent pre-C6, but you truly notice the difference. Yeah, you do CA to reduce ER requirements to 270%, but I rather hang myself on the nearest tree than do it. I used C2 Faruzan with Wanderer and it felt ok, but after I got C6 on Xianyun's banner, it plays and feels amazing.

Faruzan is a better carry compared to either of those, faruzan DPS is honestly one of the hidden gems in this game. The chinese community are well ahead in this regard.

The 2 piece effect I guess. Well, her Burst hits only once. That’s not a problem for a “big whack” Burst, but is a problem for Bursts that work over a certain time period. So the 4 piece effect is wasted.

So you’re looking at what is essentially near perfect RNG as you try to dodge every other substat in existence. Even damage dealers don’t have it that bad, because they have multiple useful stats: Atk/Def/HP, CR, CDmg, EM, and ER generally. Also, when every other support in existence needs at most 200% ER, requiring an additional 70% that what is average IS bad. You can downplay it all you want, but the truth is that what Faruzan prior to C6 (or at least prior to C4) is asking for is insanely unreasonable, especially for a support who’s supposed to be there to boost your damage and nothing else.
50 er is 2 rolls on everything besides the sands you're also only using a 2pc and the goblet can be any that roll er. Regarding fav she has 3-5 hits. (Skill, CA, Collapse, Burst Normal) Even assuming 3 hits from skill collapse and burst that is 67% chance to proc fav, 4 hits 77.46%, 5 hits 84%. And this is just using a crit circlet if you have 2 crit rolls you can even get to 90% 😭. Pre C6 she doesn't need a 4 piece or a synergistic goblet the odds are more in favour than you think even with low crit rate too. She needs more investment than most supports do fair but she is no where close to the needs of a damage dealer

Before c6 i needed 290 er to avoid doing that absudly boring charge attack(had her at c2).
Now at c6 she groups enemies, gives particles, don't need to charge attacks with her for extra particles and now she does some damage, also i'm good with 240er now. Yeah, great difference.

Faru more on-field role - another additional plus over Gorou etc. No, it's not a meme. Don't look only at her personal DPS like some Excel Impact player, 'theorycrafter', as they call themselves. Remember about range, AoE, grouping, great flexibility in rotations and buff of course still working - great with another anemo, Venti, Heizou. Double anemo aggravate can drive Fischl well, it's comparable to Keqing version, while you are getting range and more grouping. And no, you absolutely don't need TF build here, I even doubt it's worth it. You have enough shots from skill and you can add other character to fill field time a bit more. As for cons - c1 is needed to make it viable and c4 - to make it really good. Cause c4 without c6 works exactly for on-field Faru, where you cast her skill more, getting enough energy to make

I have been using Faruzan C3 for like, a year now, She's still pretty great tbh, buffs my Wanderer's Dmg by a lot (17500 to 40300) whilst she still does good damage with burst (she does like 30-50k every burst)
Edit: Energy is still a problem, but running two fav weapons (one on her, one on Bennett) is what worked best on me, My Faruzan's stats are
1.3k Atk
59.1% Crit Rate
95.9% Crit Damage
273.2% Energy Recharge
Fav Warbow (R5)
4 Piece Emblem with an ER sands, Anemo Bonus Damage Goblet and Crit Rate Circlet
For pre-c6 there's 2pc Emblem + 2pc Exile/Scholar feather for burst support Faruzan.
5:40 for my f2p account, 10 seconds is often around the time, I heve left on timer to max out the abyss. So, c6 Faruzan is a must - confirmed.

The difference of non C6 to C6 is so huge that when you get that C6 you never wanna experience the non C6 ever again. Her C6 basically fixes all her problems.
At C6 you get
- 40 crit dmg buff
- Enables use of Tenacity
- No need to use her charged shot anymore because of getting more particles.
- the C6 allows procs the skill at intervals, creating energy particles and reapplying the Anemo res shred, which means you don't need the polyhedron to hit
That is just so much of a difference. It's a crime that a character is so hard to use without the final constellation.
For Gorou it's nice to have C6, but he works easily even at C0.
Sara on the other hand needs C2.
I think the Xianyun team is more flexible then you give it to her. Bsicly the Bennet's slot is a flex slot. Bennet is the best for damage, but you already have a lot of Attack on Xianyun anyway so you can use a defensive option or sub-dps option as well. Less good, but sometimes I felt Layla just feeling better then Bennet and the team still cleared well. + No cyrcle Impact is a happy Impact.

Ive had c0 then C4 and recently c6.
The other use case of c6 is not requiring your main DPS and other characters that much energy recharge because Faruzan supplies it during burst. There will be “this awkward phase of Faruzan not getting her burst back” because of her team’s usual comps. Even at triple anemo, you still battery her just to get her burst and you lose so much dps time just doing that. Faruzan has also decent scaling wasted on max energy recharge pieces just so she could get her burst back.
The usual below c6 scenarios are setup with EQ, EQ support, EQ Support, EQNA NA OR EEQJ hypercarry then you go back to Faruzan doing E CA, rotate to someone who gives energy, and then you notice the other team mates still need to battery themselves.
This is Faruzan’s issue, i dont know what this comment section is talking about lmao.
After a few lucky off banners she’s now C6 and it’s really sweet. But don’t get completely discouraged to use her before it.
I got her to C4 on the first Scara banner but didn’t build her because all the “useless before C6” warnings. Let her just gather dust with Dori. Later on a slow batch finally decided who cares and build her anyway. And she worked just fine. I should have done it sooner. Not that the C6 isn’t fun to have :)

I played C5 Faru with Wanderer from his rerun till this banner then I got her C6 and have been trying her out with different teams ever since..
Yes. She is still good pre C6, I did clear floor 12 with Xiao and Scara with her at C5, it was do-able but not fun, was struggling sometimes too, but still.. very doable, but with that last constellation, all I can say is that she removes every single reason to struggle there.
From my personal experience, she also becomes a lot more fun to play and goof around with, I played her with different builds such as a main dps one,team comps that were not that great pre C6, etc. and she is so much fun and comfy too!
At C6, she is just everything you want from an anemo buffer and even more.. it is quite sad not every player is going to be experiencing her at that level ):

3 days ago I had a C3 Faruzan. The entire weekend I scraped off every bit of gem in the map I can get. I lucked out. C6 Faruzan achieved. She's finally god mode. Went inside Abyss to test it out. My Xiao had ult back up before it ended. This girl is broken af.
The best thing is, I barely touched the map. Inazuma still has some good stuff left in Tsurumi Island and unclaimed gems in other island, Sumeru is barely 25-30% done, I haven't even touched Fontaine yet(only visited once to see the swimming mechanic), and Chenyu Vale is still unexplored. I am gonna be raining in gems for the next unit I want to get.
This good luck and timing is too suspicious... as if the game is trying to hook me back in after leaving in a harsh note. No way it's just gonna give me a C6 Faruzan for my Xiao without stressing me out.
Woah I haven't heard anyone mention Heizou + Xianyun up until this point, it's definitely not the best but I was pretty shocked by how decent it did for being...well, a Heizou carry team.
I'm just glad I can play gilf + babygirl while also adding in mommy without feeling terrible about the damage after doing Heizou EQ 😭😭

You only need to level her burst really as that's where her damage bonus comes from. You can stop around talent level 6-8 as the gain you get diminishes.
The part about C0 Faruzan having lower ER reqs expected at 2:21 can be a bit sus. Especially if you are funnelling the particles to Wanderer. In my experience unless it’s mobbing content where you’re getting lots of particles it goes south very quickly.
I think that's fair but I'm only curious as to why you would funnel wanderer assuming he's c0 ofc because otherwise bursting every other rotation with him should be just fine

Unless your sub c6 Faruzan is buffing some high con hyper invested anemo dps then she is not worth using her over another c6 support or 5 star support. On a c0 Wanderer team I would just use something like Wanderer using dps VV set, Fischl, Beidou, Bennett. You will do more damage in many scenarios. Just try it in this abyss for top floor. It is kinda the same like using Raiden with a sub c6 Sara. Just use c6 Fischl, or Mona, or maybe even Lisa instead. I would only use something like a c5 Faruzan if I had NO other option. The difference between them is kinda like comparing c0 Nahida to c2 Nahida.

If I can 9* F12 with a C0 Faruzan(level1) supporting my Xiao then it's good enough for me! I'm spamming every bit of pulls I can grab hoping for more Faruzans, and with few days left I'm just at C3. Oh my old self would've gotten a C6 by now(I used to have welkin+BP every month when I played HARDCORE during 2020-2021) but I'm now a returning F2P. I do feel the lack of energy particles for Xiao but as I said I can 9* comfortably no problem without it.
So yeah, if you have a Xiao or Wanderer team, don't be afraid to add C0 Faruzan. She is perfectly fine at base. She's level 80 now, I gave her random Noblesse 4p ER artis and a Fav Warbow and she is gucci.

I'm the hyper faruzan salesman. Pulled her c6 (thanks Xy), never even considered xiao or wanderer, and now I mainly play her as onfielder (with furina and mh). It's really not a bad team by any means (it's like 52k with average investment at c6, which is pretty fine for me. I was at c1 before this banner and it sucked immensely).
I'll even triple crown her since I was insanely lucky with my pulls.
See, my perception of Faruzan is that if you're in the position where you want to play Xiao or Wanderer (or any other cursed Anemo hypercarry setup like CR/Heizou/Kazuha/Faruzan herself/etc.,) she's basically invaluable even at sub-C6.
I see C6 Faruzan as more of a requirement to get Anemo DPS to actually being meta options, as in general the DPS of Wanderer and Xiao are really only comparable with other top meta teams if you have C6 Faruzan. As someone without C6 even though I have Xianyun, Furina, and Xiao with PJWS, playing him still just feels underwhelming compared to my other options. My friend also has Wanderer and before he got C6 Faru he basically perma-benched him.
I think that's what makes it so hard for me to really judge how strong Faruzan is. If your reference is anemo teams, she's probably basically the strongest support in the game. But if you had to choose between a bunch of teams at your disposal, you'd probably not choose anemo hyper in the first place unless you have C6 Faruzan or some personal attraction to that character

Faruzan is still usable even without cons. People don't realize that just because cons are good, doesn't mean that character is bad. The kit is good. If you can't C6 her, then grind and see what will work best for her. Sometimes i feel like people are forgetting that you need to actually put effort if you want results.
She's decent pre-C6, but you truly notice the difference. Yeah, you do CA to reduce ER requirements to 270%, but I rather hang myself on the nearest tree than do it. I used C2 Faruzan with Wanderer and it felt ok, but after I got C6 on Xianyun's banner, it plays and feels amazing.

Well, her Burst hits only once. That’s not a problem for a “big whack” Burst, but is a problem for Bursts that work over a certain time period. So the 4 piece effect is wasted.
