Say what you want about Zsa Zsa, but the woman was a master at playing with people's expectations of her. She didn't take herself too seriously and that's serious business. Love that joke Dave did in his final Late Show monologue back in 2015: "Time gets away from you. When we started the show, the hottest show on television was Keeping Up With The Gabors!"
"In the car gravy" ...LOL She was such a good sport and seemed like a lot of fun to be with. Only Zsa Zsa would have 100 carats worth of diamonds on riding through the city.
Why? He/she totally effed up. There was a clip of them eating In-n-Out food before they showed them even going to In-n-Out! The editor showed the Burger King signage by accident instead lmfao.
Watching these, for the first time in almost 30 years, reminds me why Dave is the REAL KING of Late Night. I started watching LNwDL, when I was 15 (1985). That, more than anything, shaped my sense of humor. These videos are better than anything offered on today’s “late night” shows. Steve, Jim, Jimmy and Jim should binge these and take some notes.
Same age. Born in 1970. I happen to catch it on one of the first episodes in 1982, I think. I was hooked. Kind of like a poor Johnny Carson who was just making it all up on the fly. He constantly talked about how they were going to get cancelled.
@@PaulsUA-cam That’s no excuse for poor grades. I used to stay up late watching Jack Paar but I’d still wake up at 0330 to milk the cows before running a half marathon to the schoolhouse. Despite the hardships, I graduated the sixth grade three times with no problems. Different times, different times.
What a treat it was to watch this today. Zsa Zsa & Dave had chemistry! Seeing this reminded me of how much I enjoyed her sister Eva's comedic performances on Green Acres when I was a child in the 1960's.
This is definitely one of the best segments. Wotta great sport Zsa Zsa was. How long did it take to shoot this segment? Was it all day or spread out over several?
When I was in high school I made a stencil that said “late night“ and I spray painted The late night logo around town. Only a few places, not too much. It looked Just like the show’s commercial break “bumpers”. Wholesome graffiti if you ask me.
They used this white sunbird convertible multiple times when out in LA. This but, the bit where he and Paul went surfing, and then for the bit that finished with Dave and Paul having a flat tire and this white sunbird drove up with Johnny driving it.
I really miss watching Letterman and Leno! I wish that TV would go back to the way it used to be when you could have fun with people! I don't watch the late-night shows anymore since the hosts bad mouth everyone and get paid way too much to do it!
Dave and Zsa Zsa could’ve hit Del Taco, Carl’s Jr., Popeyes, Arby’s, El Pollo Loco, and Wienerschniztel, but they would be too full (and Five Guys didn’t even exist yet).
Nowadays, instead of focusing on one another, people would have their head buried in the phone texting. How rapidly the world has changed in the past 30 years.
@@_Tanasis_ I think people will be lazier, more impatient with the advent of new technologies that make us have to do less and less when machines and systems do it for us.
I wonder where that 18 year old guy from In N Out is today. He was 18 in 1994 and I was born 4 years later. He would be 45 years old today. Amazing how quick time flies. I’m 25 years old now and just wondering where the time went!
Zsa Zsa getting in that average car, is hilarious. I think the Gabors were a level of finance like Millionaire , billionaire, trillionaire, and Gabor. In that order.
It’s the Jurassic Park joke and Zsa Zsa’s gleeful reaction to it that’s my favourite.
Treating Zsa as a person. She loved it!
Zsa Zsa was hilarious and very quick. There's no chance her and Dave wouldn't get along
This may be my all time favorite Letterman moment. Happy Birthday Zsa Zsa!!
Me too?
!
One of the very best!!!!

She was a good sport with this. I think she had fun.
This is hilarious Dave comes up with some wild ideas
I love these old clips. David was ahead of his time with his bits.
Out of the box comedy
You can really see some influence on Conan here; like Conan Dave was just absolute comedy gold when out among the people .
My thoughts exactly has i watched this
I see Zsa Zsa in a new light! She was wonderful
Much better than carpool karaoke. 👏💥
I loved Letterman and Zsa Zsa together. He was ultimately very kind and I think she knew it and let the liberties flow. Great television.
This is one of my all time favorite “Dave moments”. So glad to see it again.
This and when he had Iris Chacon on his show were the best imo
I never tire of this clip. It’s simply brilliant from the idea to execution and the editing is perfection.
Just love that even back in ‘94 there were Regis jokes in the show.
One of the best bits ever on the show. I LOVE THE FRIES!
She had an excellent sense of humor!
The "in the car gravy" gets me every time 😆
"In the car gravy" ...LOL
She was such a good sport and seemed like a lot of fun to be with. Only Zsa Zsa would have 100 carats worth of diamonds on riding through the city.
30 years ago and still hilarious!
The editor of these videos deserves applause, too.

Classic King is Carson. Modern TV, no one will ever be better than Letterman & Conan.

Bravo!! Love the Ga'bor Sisters, love Zsa, Zsa!! Thanks Dave!!!
Unexpectedly hilarious! Thanks for the up-load!
She was 77 then and lived until 99 years old! I guess the fast food didn’t hurt. 😂
I wondered how old she was during this bit. Didn’t look/act it!!!
Her mom lived to 100
Zsa Zsa was a good sport!
Zas zsa…one of a kind!
This was so good! Laughed through the whole thing 😂
A classic. How many times does Dave get to say Zsa Zsa ? She has a great sense of humor.
“Regis” 😂😂😂
my number one fav Letterman clip!
Genius and entertaining. Dave is the best.
We miss you Dave! You’re the best of the best.
OMG Dave I swear was AHEAD OF HIS TIME. HERO!!!!
Zsa Zsa the hungarian Unicum 👑💝
Thank you World Wide Pants Dave for making this UA-cam channel!
The Gabors were some of my favorite guests from Johnny's show.
Dave we miss you all we have on late night is dopes
I can't believe this is 30 years old!! I remember watching it for the first time!
30 years.
Present late night is so Boring compared to this. Thank God for these clips..
How much can you eat?? WOW!! Very funny video they sure had a GREAT TIME you can tell they laughing from the HEART!!!
Man...Dave was a nut. I miss him. Off the wall humor indeed.
This is kind of brilliant. Not a segment you'd ever have expected. It's hard to make me laugh, but this succeeded.
The best of all the Letterman skits.
Probably the best Letterman skit of all time! I saw this as a teenager on its original debut and laughed so hard my ribs were sore the next day!
I’m partial to the Dave we saw on Late Night but this remote was definitely a classic moment during the Late Show run.
At a time when Dave was funny and enjoyable to watch.
Dahling!! 📺❤️
1:00 I miss those old brown menu boards
Why?
Those were the days ....
God, please post some videos you did with Regis. They were always hilarious!
This was amazing
The giant cheer at the mention of In N Out was epic.
Lol LOVE these clips. Off to find the taco bell one where they filled his convertible full of tacos.
I love it that In-n-Out got an applause .
This is absolutely hilarious!
My brother and I saw this live when aired and laughed so hard lol.
Some people are easily amused...
This is definitely one of the best segments. Wotta great sport Zsa Zsa was. How long did it take to shoot this segment? Was it all day or spread out over several?
😂Man, I miss Dave.
I absolutely adore this!! Leave it to Dave to do this! Hugs to him for this. When I think of the way that rotten husband left Zsa Zsa to die, 😡🤬
? He didn’t leave her afaik.
2:18 Hometown pop for the local favorite.
No Pink’s, though. Letterman must not be a hot dog guy. Or, maybe just didn’t want to wait in line outside on the sidewalk.
Zsa x 2 was the best. She could laugh at herself
I missed this episode of Keeping Up With The Gabors
I want to go out for fast food now!
So hilarious!!🤣
Brilliant.
This and the Taco Bell show were the best
i miss the 90s
Hilarious.
I remember that
That In-N-Out dude is 48 years old now. 😮
This is awesome
Classic.

Glorious 😂
This was not good for your health, Mr. Letterman! But very funny! Today is Zsa Zsa birthday!
Happy Birthday Zsa Zsa!
Beginning of carpool karaoke...
They used this white sunbird convertible multiple times when out in LA. This but, the bit where he and Paul went surfing, and then for the bit that finished with Dave and Paul having a flat tire and this white sunbird drove up with Johnny driving it.
Genius 👍
Dave: Tell the people behind me when they come in that the tacos are on Zsa Zsa
Drive Thru Employee: The tacos are on Ja Ja 3:22💀💀💀💀💀
I really miss watching Letterman and Leno! I wish that TV would go back to the way it used to be when you could have fun with people! I don't watch the late-night shows anymore since the hosts bad mouth everyone and get paid way too much to do it!
See",u dont. Need convertabl3 rolls to get rou3!!!😆
Anyone know what this song is?
When TV was still worth watching.. Also, what was the deal with all the teal fast food colors in the 90s
this is totally a youtube meta now
Aww... they cut out Zsa Zsa slapping TH out of the lessers.
All those resturants are still around
Hilarious...😅😅😅
Sunbird sighting
Talk about inconspicuous. A white Sunbird conv.
There will never be another Letterman.
He's got a very unique style!!!
Dave and Zsa Zsa could’ve hit Del Taco, Carl’s Jr., Popeyes, Arby’s, El Pollo Loco, and Wienerschniztel, but they would be too full (and Five Guys didn’t even exist yet).
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even if you only took one bite from all those places, you'd be stuffed.

Dave had the BEST late night show!!!! Daves a REAL entertainer!!!!
Regis.
What??? Pink's!!!!!
Yes. Forever. All of it. Thank you, Dave. This is my third time on this one.
