The singers of the Italian version are: Maria - Antonella Rondinone Draco - Paolo Andrea Di Pietro Ralse - Roberto Di Candido All real opera singers😊 I sang Draco also in the French version.
To anyone who likes the Italian version, I recommend watching the cover that Swedish symphony orchestra did with the incredible soprano Sabina Zweiaker. She'll give you goosebumps in places you didn't know exist on your body.
@@TheEarthRealm Going to be purely honest dude, it was some of my classmates that held me and the rest of the class down. Our professoressa had to keep teaching them basic Italian conjugation because they didn’t put any effort into actually learning. That’s why me and my guys had an A while everyone else had like a low B high C 💀
I hope they will make a complete version of this, like they did with the original game, with the final scene we didn't see in the game due to Ultros' interruption.
Probably because Italian sounds more melodic to English speakers. As an Italian I can say the lyrics sound a little "language-forced" to me, compared to the original English version, but still good enough.
I think it's not only the language though. The lyrics of the aria itself are almost identical to the "Grand finale" version - a concert made in 1994 together with the Milan Symphony Orchestra - thus it feels like a opera ("archaic" italian and all) because these lyrics were actually wrote for and sang by a opera singer. If I remember correctly this also became the text they used for the italian translation in the gba version, which came years later (the game was not translated in italian when it first came out for the snes, and I actually remember playing it with a dictionary close by back then). Plus comparing the english version with the italian one I kind of feel they hired real singers to perform the pieces, while it seems they used synthetic voices in the english version (or if not, they used a far worse synthesized vocals)
@@TheTyrael86 I remember reading an article that some of the dubs used non opera singers since the context of the scene is that it's not actually an opera singer performing in game.
@@SilentSheikah Yes but the English version is quite terrible because of the heavy use of autotune. In this version the female singer is intentionally singing with open vowels which still gives off the "untrained" vibe while not ruining the piece as a whole.
The moment Square Enix realized they were going to be translating this game into every single language conceiveable, they should have made EVERYONE play this in Italian, seeing as opera is generally an Italian thing
Opera just sounds better in a foreign language you don't understand. It's so hard for me to explain why but it's really true this is why a lot are latin cuz fucking nobody understands it lol
Does anyone know if this version is on Spotify? Would love to have this in my OST playlist. There's also a really good symphonic recording of Dancing Mad that's unfortunately only on UA-cam - hoping that's not the case here 🤞
To those saying that this version is better than the English version, it is. It's because the English version remembered that Celes is not an opera singer and thus should not have an excellent singing voice.
@@budakbaongsiahKeep in mind that even the singer (a soprano) who voices Celes in Italian was told not to sound too professional so she's not giving her best. You can hear it yourself: she's singing really well but not soprano like; whereas the male voices are depicting professionals and therefore they're singing as such. Meanwhile, why do they all sing so weakly in English? Celes is the only imposter storywise.

@paoloadp I miei complimenti a tutti e tre! Avete reso questa parte del gioco meravigliosa!

Parfait! Merci from 🇺🇸
@@miss.saxophone30 years ago, this is what I heard in my imagination - a true opera
The real reason it took Ultros 5 minutes to push that weight is that he was still crying from how beautiful this scene was.
This is exactly what i heard when i was a child when i got to the opera scene

I would die happy if I could live to see this played at La Scala or in L'Arena.
THIS IS GOLDEN!!! Not only is the setting and style of FF6 inspired by Italy, but the addition of Italian opera is like making the perfect PB&J.
Meraviglia. Brividi. Lacrime. Questo è un capolavoro VERO. Grazie.
Questa versione è meravigliosa, chissene se Celes non è una cantante professionista, è arte!
Mi viene da piangere 😭 ho la pelle d'oca, amo questa versione ♥️
Non sei la sola persona.
Semplicemente perfetto. D'altronde si parla di Final fantasy 6. Un capolavoro di videogioco.
A chi lo dici❤
Ever since I heard the arrangement on grand finale, been waiting to hear the entire opera in Italian. Wow!
Sono scioccata dopo aver visto questa scena nel gioco, veramente eccezionale, non ci sono parole!
I took Italian for 8 years from elementary 1st grade to 8th grade. I didn’t learn anything from those classes, but this sounds good
8 years? Didn't learn anything? 🤨 Are you alright in the head, mate?

really gotta hand it to Square for how much love they put into this one scene.
This is THE version.
Is this really the Italian version? Sounds so much better than the English one!!!

Spettacolare!
I'm Italian and this is truly Amazing.
This should have been the standard no matter what international version.
Italian version way better than english. French is also very good
Wow, incredible!
È talmente bella che mi commuovo ogni volta che l'ascolto. Uematsu è un sommo maestro, la sua musica tocca l'anima di chiunque lo ascolti.

Yeeeeeah this explodes the English version so hard, it's not even funny how much better this is.
Bellissima Celes 💛 il mio personaggio preferito
Bellezza pura.
This is the canon version, to me.
I prefer and enjoy this version the most
