It is Easter time again and the conditions are favourable for kite flying so here we are making a traditional mad bull kite. First, we source the bamboo which is strong, flexible and lightweight. The bamboo is then split and cut to the appropriate lengths, they are then lashed together to frame the kite. The perimeter of the kite is then connected with the string. A garbage bag is used to paper the kite and Krazy glue is used to adhere the plastic. Clear plastic tape is folded to make the zingers and also to reinforce the bamboo to the plastic. The compass is then mounted as demonstrated here and the tail which consists of a piece of discarded gillnet is added. The kite is now ready to go aloft so enjoy and please subscribe, thank you.
