Base Stone Experiment, What is the best base under artificial grass

There are many ways out there showing what the best base is to go under an artificial lawn.
Here at Love it Lawns we have been using the same base system for many years and it has worked well for us.
In Hampshire particularly around Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas there is a lot of clay which can cause drainage issue's.

It's about filtration, grano is best for slow filtration,.water is slowly filtered through grano, to mot1 under neath, it thin slowly release to soil. There saying now that you don't need sand on top of latest grass, you do. This also helps with slow filtration. If water goes through that fast it will back up to surface , slow filtration is best, as he said 10 minutes later and water had gone through grano dust, . Mot 1 and Grano dust filters water better creating a Kind of French drain system. 🤷‍♂️
