One extra thing i did for this battle is that the party now keeps their fancy outfits for this section, something that really pissed me off in the original game

@@CS-om3kj i cannot, sorry, its better for game balance this way since bosses have fewer ways to respond against player in Like A Brawler 8. You will be able to endlessly juggle goons though!
That QTE for Kiryu's AI attack at 1:48 got me hella confused ngl. Also just got an interesting question. On perfect blocks Kiryu can perform komaki knockback, will you leave it as perfect block in LAB 8 or make it like other mainline games that had it (aka press heavy attack button when hit while blocking)?
Would have though 2:05 would have been a team heat attack. Its nice to see it exists in other ways though! 3:27 Oh! Counter moves do exist! If it could get mastered a bit more it'd really help against all those enemy rush attacks.
whats with the recurring dialogues that shouldve been played once? (ichiban & kiryu literally repeated the same thing over and over again) was it like that in the og game?
Something that kinda pissed me off in the demo is that ichiballs even when he dodges, he gets humbled by goons cause they repeat the same attack, and its just straight-up spam 😭
Would it be possible to have an option that makes allies be able to actually die for the rest of the battle, sort of as a motivator to not just sit back and let them do a lot of the work
I think it's fine this way, if you want to wait for your allies to beat down a boss you should be able to, its a playstyle choice for sure because it also comes with its own risks, like a boss performing a counter attack or mortal attack on them and hurting them geartly
That party-wide counter slash that wiped the other members out tho. Out of curiosity, did you ever find a way for status effects like Poison and Bleed to deal tick damage on a timer separate from the turn-based system? Or is that just not possible even with Dragon's Resurgence? Just wondering, is all.
@@Jhrino No pressure, it's just one of those things that's always bugged me in seeing the status effects technically still exist but just not functional. No big deal. Keep up the good work.

also i think i do like killable allies, since items are so easy to amass in the RPGsand you can just spam em. maybe edit their stats so they have GIGA defense or something and take very little damage
5 months ago in January when the game's demo was released you showed an option to either select Ichiban or Kiryu before a fight is the same option going to be available here in the full version of Like a Brawler?

When I did my NG+ runs for Hard/Legend, I always changed the party’s outfits right before you talk to Hanawa
