Reggie would do well in today's NBA
Seriously it wouldn't be fair. Today's players are soft.
he'd smoke em.
'' I TOOK PERSONAL '' = ME PLUS KUKOC PIPPEN RODMAN 3 HALL OF FAMERS VS 1 MILLER
REGGIE >>> JORDAN
That body in today's pansy game he'd be unstoppable
Anybody who plays with that off ball blueprint (klay thompson, joe harris,jj redick, duncan robinson) can at the very least be very effective roleplayers,at the most he hall of famers. They all play the same way
Reggie is still my all time favorite player.
Back in the days you wanted to watch Pacers in playoffs because you knew Reggie would make big shots
Ughh I hate Reggie Miller I’m from nyc! I remember when he made 2 three pointers and two foul shots in 18 seconds and beat the knicks!! I mean look I played college ball I can respect him. But everytime I watch him I get a pit in my stomach because you know he’s going to deliver! He was our number one nemesis!
As a Hoosier, man he was the best. Those were some killer battles with New York man. Y’all were dogs!
Iconic playoff performances against the Knicks and the Bulls in the playoffs. Didn't like him during the Bulls dynasty, but after that, began rooting for him especially in the 2000 Finals against the Lakers. And I even shed a tear in his last game. His dedication and competitiveness is among the greatest, and he is the Mr. Pacer.
Growing up near Indianapolis, I was fortunate to watch his entire career with the Pacers. Needless to say, he became my all time favorite. He invented the leg kick that got him so many and 1's. Love it bruddah, keep up the great work
wow i know it's an amazing feeling to have a guy like that play for your hometown team hs whole career
As a Knick fan for life,I hated Reggie Miller!! Truly one of the greatest players to ever play the game.
I hated him too and I wasn’t a Knock fan but wanted them to when. I’m a Lakers fan and Reggie was pissing me off when he was going against them lol
@@fredbjamz4956 ... I think that the Lakers were my second favorite team, behind the Knicks...If the Knicks weren't going to be in the finals,I wanted L.A. Hated Boston,Chicago,Detroit and Reggie Miller 😄
I love Reggie Miller. He didn't back down from anyone. His Pacers were one of the few teams who can say they took the Bulls to game 7. If I'm not mistaken, didn't he also take Shaq and Kobe to game 7 too? I can't remember but I remember the Lakers seemed to get favoritism from the refs in that series.
They took the Lakers to 6. As a Pacers fan, I was proud of 'em, but Shaq was at his peak, and Kobe was breaking out. They wouldn't have won gm7 at LA.
I hated but respected Reggie. He could shoot
Na that nicks choking moment was ice cold
he'd smoke today's league
Reggie would average 40 points a game in today's Nba
Naw his leg kicking wouldn’t work a anyone
Miller's charms include threes and clutch strength, but personally I like his loyalty to the Pacers the most.
The trash talk with Jordan was hilarious. .
He's hated in NY, but he's one of the players who made MSG excited, so it's cool that Knicks fans recognize his ability.
I really like Miller's shooting form.
@Emperor Palpatine As a fan from "small market" Indiana, I can attest that you couldn't be more wrong. There is great benefit to THE FANS. Reggie Miller, specifically, is idolized and respected here because he stuck around and devoted himself, completely, to our team. There probably aren't that many millionaires that can have others buying drinks for them all night, whenever they go out, but Reggie Miller, in Indiana, is one of them.
@Emperor Palpatine fr.
@Emperor Palpatine Yes, of course I'm saying that because he's an all-time great that played for a team that I'm a fan of. That's the entire point of what I said.
Loyalty matters to the fans, and it benefits the fans. So, your statement about it only serving to benefit owners is verifiably false.
@Emperor Palpatine not these days players have no honor or integrity something you have no clue about.
@@MrMagnaniman You can’t expect ignorant muppets like emperor dufus to have a clue about what you are talking about.
Steph Curry's success has added a lot of value to Reggie Miller's career.
The Pacers always had a pedestrian roster, but somehow kept winning 50-60 games each year (and even making it to the Finals). It was kind of peculiar how they won so much.
Now that we're seeing how much impact a long-range off-the-ball shooter has on 5-on-5 basketball, Miller's/Pacers success makes more sense.
Reggie was the reason.
Mr. Miller is fearless. He is outmatched often by superior athletes but he never backed down.
Skill means a lot, heart means everything.
respect.
Reggie Miller is what Curry is today. Even Curry will say he wanted to be like Reggie. & Reggie is gonna have to live with the fact he couldn't get a ring.
1 was cuz of Jordan in 98. & in 00 with Shaq & Frobe. Also in 05 cuz of the Malice @ the Palace. Just too many "Damn almost there" But him torturing the Knicks in the playoffs will always give him great bragging rights
@Emperor Palpatine You’re right, he’s above it.
@Emperor Palpatine 🤣🤣🤣
@@Kashed LOL.....no
May 7, 1995 . . . in college we were in closing 2 minutes of Knicks vs. Pacers & whole dining hall was like, Knicks are gonna wrap it up . .. .then it was Miller time & we couldn't believe what we were seeing as Miller did the impossible for the win, The replays always show him talking trash to Spike Lee & making a "choke" motion . . . but what has been since CUT OUT from the LIVE teleplay is Miller grabbing his crotch towards Lee. Spike later complained, saying something to the extent of, "that was disrespectful what he did to me IN FRONT OF MY WIFE" . . . LOL!!! Miller DGAF!
Wow that’s my birthday date only thing i was born in 94 good story tho
That's why Reggie is the only goat on the planet
@@kill1052 i cannot argue with you, but I will leave that to Sean David of BTM to say Jordan is the GOAT. Cheers!

That’s dope ian know he grab his junk like dat
Reggie was not only fantastic player, but a good commentator too. I always liked to hear his opinion about the game of basketball.
Huge fan of Reggie, I'll admit as A fan of those 90s bulls I loved seeing him and Jordan going at it. I enjoyed seeing him beat the heck out of the Knicks!! Reggie set the bar for shooters in my opinion. And to think that he wasn't the best basketball player in his own house growing up is crazy still to this day. Knowing how great Cheryl is as well was. Is just amazing!! How much those two support each other and aren't jealous of each other is just awesome
Miller time!
I was so happy when he retired. Because now he can’t destroy my New York Knicks. Now I can appreciate what he did in a pass.
Bruh nowadays everyone is destroying the Knicks, f Trey Young lol. Am not a Knick fan in the least but i'd like to see them relevant again, it would be good for the league.
Ha ha so true i was a huge New York fan in the 90s and i realy didn't like Miller but yeah awsome player 👍☺️. Today i can't name one player in New York 😁
If you think about it was hard for Reggie Miller to beat the Knicks. Back in the day.
Yes. But the Knicks keep destroying itself nowadays.
Well hey he my relative but even if he wasn't he to me still one of the greatest to ever play along with a few others of that time.
Coming from Indianapolis, I'm so glad that have seen Reggie Miller play countless times. He gave 100% EVERY SINGLE TIME!
Fun fact: Reggie Miller is born the same day as Dave Chapelle. I was honored to be called "Lil Reggie" growing up, playing ball in the hood. #teamVirgo
My family have been Pacers season ticket holders since 1969. I was 10 when I went to my first Pacers game. I’ve had a number of favorite players over the years: Mel Daniels, Bill Keller, George McGinnis, “Downtown” Roger Brown, Darnell Hillman. Reggie stands above them all! Great video, thanks!
Dude I miss Market Square Arena. Reggie would have that place rocking
@@lavarivy2259 Tru dat!
Makes me sad. The NBA was amazing back then. Today well it’s kinda boring.
Growing up a Knicks fan Reggie is one of my favorite players but he scorched us 🤣
I thought Miller was the best shooter until Curry came around the way!Dam! Levels to this shit🔥🔥🔥🔥
Allen Iverson & Reggie Miller only players that get ring respect without having a ring!
Malone and Stockton as well
Charles Barkley
Reggie should have a ring. They got royally screwed against the Lakers in the finals, as most teams did at the time, the Kings series have been heavily covered on that. The NBA, aka Stern orchestrated what he felt he needed to to keep the NBA alive post Jordan.
I just said the same thing before I saw this comment. The refs definitely showed favoritism to the Lakers in that series.
Reggie would have won a championship if not for the Malice at the Palace!!
💯💯💯💯💯💯
They weren't beating the Lakers the way Shaq was dominating.
@@xaviervega468 Yes they were. Go waste someone elses time with your ignorance.
Never under estimate sibling rivalry. When the game was on the line Reggie was always motivated by all the times his sister destroyed his ass growing up.
Hello Mr basketball time machine..I'm one of your subscribers from the Philippines....
Great stuff BTM, nice vid man.
I know people say Pippen, Draxler and Gervin are underrated but Reggie Miller is very much Overlooked, Underrated and Underestimated aswell, as one of the best NBA Players in History.
Pippen and Drexler aren't in his class as a shooter. Gervin is, but his defense isn't close.

Reggie Miller is one my favorite shooting guards behind Michael jordan being my number one shooting guard. Even Richard Hamilton back in 2004 when they faced the Indiana pacers in the playoffs, he even said that he modeled his game after Reggie Miller.
As a Pacers fan thanks for showing Reggie Miller some love! #boombaby
Reggie Miller was a great player he was one of the best Indiana play Indiana pacers player ever
Most underrated great 2guard in history.
I think Reggie is arguably a top 5 SG.
Top 3
"I'm guarding you and those other 8 guys, they gonna be playing basketball" - John Starks
That's some pimp shit to say right there. Starks may not have been a superstar, but he was definitely someone to worry about.
I was a huge Pacers fans in the 90s and it was a shame Reggie never got his ring. Just stuff lined up against him. The Malice in the Palace upset me to the point I mostly stopped watching the NBA after it happened. The Pacers finally had the team and the decks cleared and due to piss-poor security and general thuggery by Detroit fans and players, the season was ruined. Going into the stands as a player isn't acceptable, but the punishment was over the top and no way any big market team would have been gutted for that reaction.
Indiana was definitely cheated out of a championship!! If that basketball brawl had happened to the Lakers, David Stern NEVER would have handled out such harsh sentences!!
Anybody that goes head up, shot 4 shot, against Michael Jordan & never get intimidated nor back down gets my respect!
reggie was the perfect villian. he deserved to win. he was that good.
And he, like Bernard King, carried some very ordinary teams pretty deep.
@@Amick44 Bernard King never took the Knicks or Bullets to the finals. Reggie got to the finals in 2000.
@@Diaz23 true. I think Reggie's Pacers were stronger and definitely deeper, too though.
@@Amick44 Bernard King was a beast tho! But he never had a team around him..Knicks should’ve kept King because they had just drafted Patrick Ewing a year earlier. When King went to the Bullets the only other baller he had with him was Jeff Malone.
@@Diaz23 the couple o' yrs he at GS before going to NY he played with World Free, Joe Barry Carroll and Purvis Short. All could score. None known for defense. Moderately successful. But that was about the only time he had solid offensive help. And their lack of D kind of negated that.
The thing people fail to realize is Reggie Miller was a great defensive player, like Kobe he always defended against the other team's best player! He used to drive Michael Jordan crazy!
He certainly gave it all he had. He made all his opponents work on both ends.
Exactly. That'll never show up in stats.
Reggie was an awful defensive player, who are you kidding.
Killer Miller it's Miller time Reggie Miller is one of the greatest players ever and one of my favorite players ever in nba history period!!!!!! The greatest 3 point shooter ever beside curry Ray Allen klay!!!!!
Reggie Miller was one of my favorite players of the 80s and 90s! Even though I was Knicks fan! I can't help but appreciate greatness! I wish he Malice in the Palace hadn'd ocurred! Because, probably, he woulda retired with a ring! Dear Reggie, thanks for the memories, even though you hurt my Knicks plenty of times, like when you dropped 25 in the last quarter, or when you scored 8 points in 8,9 seconds! You the man Reggie!
8 points in 8.9 seconds?????That's mind-blowing and scary, imagine what he could do in a minute!!!
@@Bwwe82090 how about tmac?
@@bestboy1218 oh yeah I forgot T Mac did the same thing when he was with the Rockets!
@@bestboy1218 That's crazy too, but to me Reggie Miller's exploit was crazier, because it was in the playoffs! Isiah Thomas did another crazy thing in the playoffs, when he scored 16 points in 90 seconds, against the Knicks! But they lost in overtime!

If theres no MJ in the same era... i can say.....Reggie had Atlist 3 rings... no doubt.
Always found it funny people rating Ray Allen higher. Ray Allen can’t accomplish the third of what Miller did if he was the main franchise player and not number 2 or number 3 option.
My favorite player ever.. great video my guy.
Reggie miller was one of the best shooters in NBA History, let alone one of the trash talkers.
I'll take reggie over curry any day he's more clutch
i love watching Winning Time, so good.
Man, i've been a Pacers fan for 30 years. I'm from Argentina, and the first time i saw Reggie i was instantly hooked. Love how annoying he was... very latin like! lol
I would put him in a 1992 Dream Team instead of Leattner. But,that was a rule back then.
Reggie ended up playing on the 1996 U.S. Olympic basketball squad in Atlanta and he played very well. He ended up with a gold medal. Not an NBA championship, but still a major success.
And yall say the Golden State Waariors would beat the Bulls.... OK. Yeah right. Reggie Miller game is Steph Curry game now without any restrictions. Imagine if Reggie was allowed to shoot bk then from Dummy.....
I've been a Pacer fan since 1985, the raffleman Chuck P made me notice the Pacers but when Reggie came on the scene I became an out right FANatic!
What time is it?!
Miller Time!
How much i so hated Miller as a Knicks fan. HATED!!!!! but he was one the best and defensively he was good also as much on the moving on Offensive side he could on the defensive side. I rooted for him against MJ but that was all. Now he awesome I bought hia book long time ago also. I respect the guy i hated
Miller's movement without the ball was obviously what Curry patterned his game after.
Reggie was hitting 3s in a time when defense was still played. Today its all about the 3 point shots, but back then not alot of players did that. He set the stage for the 3 point games you see today!! Some of my favorite memories as a kid in the 90s was watching the Big playoff games with the Eastern Conference. So many Big Battles to claw up to the number 1 spot in the East and Millers Pacers was the only team in history to push Jordans Bulls to a game 7 in the playoffs.
Absolutely one of the greatest. The youngins have no idea... Curry even said it himself, he was inspired by Reggie and grew up idolizing him #metoo
Before the Chef Curry there was the original assassin Reggie Miller... "Miller Time" was torching time!!!!
reggie moved without the ball like nobody i ever saw. steph is kinda like that, but reggie was the OG of non-stop off ball movement. and he was insanely clutch. that game against my knicks when he scored those points in the last few seconds - i fucking HATED him!
This highlights remind me of why I loved watching Reggie Miller.
Ray hit more 3s but was not the better shooter.
Clutch shot Reggie or Steph or Bird or Dame Lillard? One on one Mark J & Reggie vrs Step and Clay?
I used to love Reggie! What a great player, not afraid of anyone. Faithful to Pacers. Best three point shooter.
Great video Reggie awesome so fun to watch😀👍👍👍
The one major difference between Miller Time and all of those other great shooters you mentioned is none of them played in the same era as or against the 🐐 MJ. Reggie did.
I think I would choose Miller over Curry and I actually like Curry. He is the best shooter ever but I’ll choose Miller
I was a Bulls fan in the 90s, and I can tell you, I both hated and respected Reggie Miller.
Those duels with Penny Hardaway were NBA Classic Gold!
Reggie was all business with Mike
Paid his respect to his friend and it wasn't no buddy buddy shit. It's a battle and told him
Reggie Miller Ray Allen and Stephen Curry made 3 point shot for a living.
Reggie would be so fun to watch if he plays at today’s game. Of course he was fun to watch in the 90s too
Damn, Clyde Drexler looking younger now than he did in the Blazer days lol
Lol cuz you had to chase him around for like 200 laps like Nascar.
Outside of MJ, Reggie Miller is my favorite player of all time.
51k Views and you can guarantee one of them is Reggie himself.
Dream team II captain
He was a beast…
Can someone tell me which song/artist is playing at 0:55 ? I used to know it but forgot ! And it's awesome !
Reggie is the better shooter easily. And player of the 4 mentioned. Let’s debate it
I know curry is dope…but reggie would have been the same or even better in this era.
Reggie Miller. Knick killer is what we called him back in the 90s
He always lost in the shadow of jordan or his sister which is messed up
GREAT show !!!
Reggie was 🔥
No doubt !!!
Reggie Miller is the OBI-WAN KENOBI of the NBA.
Please Mr. David give me the title of the background music of the ending credits.
Reggie was way better then Klay ever will be
Reggie was the main man. Carried his teams
We'll never know unless Klay leads his own team. But Klay does everything Reggie did and plays defense. But Reggie had the pressure of being the main guy, and had the pressure of hitting the big shots. Klay dosen't have that.
Clay Thompson is not a better shooter than Reggie Miller
U gotta love old school mentality
Right. During their playing years it's just "fuck all y'all, I ride or die for MY team" & then when everyone is retired, They all respect each other & tell each other stories of their team experiences.
But if they wear the old jerseys again. It's that "I can still beat you" mentality all over again.
It’s a lot of Reggie’s game in curry’s.
Reggie Miller was one of my favorite players to watch, he liked MJ was an electric player as well.
I know Isiah Thomas pissed he not gettin mentioned 🤣🤣🤣
Reg was one of the best to do it, and stayed loyal to one team.
Every time I watch this clip, I can't help but wonder why the ref didn't call the foul on MJ. It's obvious Reggie had both hands on MJ's chest - right in front of the ref. In today's NBA, even a sneeze would be called a foul 😄
Reggie's career aged like fine cheese.
"Le tiro de lejitos como Reggie Miller"-Tego Calderón
He’d be even better in today’s game
That damn brawl was our year
About freaking time
We'll never see his like again 😩

Unlike every other notable sidekick like Terry Porter, Stockton, Penny or Payton, there are zero examples of Pippen dominating and taking over a series.. He played at an Iggy or Wiggins-caliber but the winning spotlight and association with Jordan inflated him to all-time status.. Outside of the triangle and dynasty system that he grew up in, Pippen was a 14 ppg dunker that couldn't score
Grew up in Philly, turned 13 in 1993. Took A LOT of shit for proudly proclaiming that Reggie Miller was my favorite player. He wasn’t as flashy or successful or even at the level of “celebrity” that other franchise players of the era were. He played basketball like it was his job and did so as a true professional. He was consistent, motivated & committed to the team and its fans. Sure, he talked shit and got heated at times, but only after being provoked. He wasn’t the type to demand attention and adoration. He wasn’t obsessed with stats or accolades. He is still the benchmark for what the “perfect” teammate looks like, acts like and plays like.
