It was released on 20 May 2014 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. The game is the first main entry in the Wolfenstein series since Wolfenstein was released in 2009.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is set in 1960's Europe, in a world where the Nazis won the Second World War. The linear story is told through William "B.J." Blazkowicz, who is tasked with launching a counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have overtaken the world. - Ігри
I found Deathshead to be one of the most memorable villains in video games lately. "So... Gullible!" This is a man who is literally a hundred years old, who shows no remorse, no fear, who has lived a full life of evil.
Not really, in one part of the character's backstory they say he is just like that since the Great War when he suffered an accident
Just waiting to fight him again in a future Doom game where he is reincarnated as a demon.

Fuck that second phase against Deathshead. That fire takes of way to much armor, and eventually there is so much of it that in order to figure out where the robot is you have to get out of cover and gormlessly stare into the fires while getting shot at, which drains away health and even more precious armor.

I died during this fight last section more times than in the entire games plus Old Blood. Holy hell. I had to lower the difficulty.
Ikr, I was playing on extreme the whole time. But when it came to shoot down the zeppelins, I lowered the difficulty after an hour of trying
I managed to do it in 10 tries or so on Uber difficulty

Laser is a light beam with limited frequency range. Different optical filters can block different frequences. So, nothing impossible in this scene actually not happened.

Took me playing on über to realise that if you lob a grenade at him in his shield phase then it stuns him for a few seconds

I used the aa guns as a way to heal and wait
I realized this on normal, but I still died a few times. I am not ready for the pain of Uber, but I'm gonna try anyway lol.

Anyone think the Wyatt/Fergus robot battle is inspired by RoboCop 2/Robocain from RoboCop 2, due to being powered by a human brain? Plus, RoboCop and BJ both destroy the brains in the end.

I am a big fan of Robocop and that was clear for me in the minute i saw the brain going in the mecha. It's Cain. BTW in Robocop 2 OCP is clearly refer as a Nazi entity, you can clearly see the new OCP logo is Nazi-shapped.

I was sad to see Blaskowitz go, it's the end of an era, but a new era is coming we still got a Doom game on the horizon. And all the Doom fanatics out there know that the main guy in Doom is related to Blaskowitz. So, Blaskowitz may be gone, but the family lives on....

any help on doing this on uber, I put 16 rockets + 120 rounds in him 50+ shotgun rounds, empty both energy weapons and yet he still doesn't die
Lower the difficulty or wait approximately seven years and try the boss again to see if you've gotten any better

It was lot harder for me the first phase before the final fight.
@@hliasliakopoulos9134 I find wolfenstein games on any difficulty being a lot easier on the pc in comparison to a console. Even though the laser gun thing can kill the second phase eventually (because of the charging stations around the map) I suppose any way to get enough hits in a small amount of time would work too (if you can also time it right without getting obliterated in the process). However, the first phase really is just a matter of how fast you can consume health items

This has got to be the shittest boss fight in gaming history. No tactics involved whatsoever... Just sprint down a corridor whilst under constant fire which you can do nothing to interrupted and all you can do is hope the game doesn't decide to reduce your health to 0

I hated some aspects of this game. The CoD style "mouse 3 takedowns" where it took you out of a cutscene and then straight back into one when you had stabbed a bloke or opened a door. (e.g the death of Bubi). And the ending...Jesus, give us some payoff for the hours we've put in!

That third stage is such a drag. Vision gets so terrible and the boss is so spongy that I ended up using all ammo of all guns. Waiting for the stun to pass between shots and STILL not having enough ammo even though I started the fight with pretty much everything maxed out 😒 Still got to finish it but my motivation is pretty low. Not a fun fight, just frustrating.
Is the game short or did you like speed the whole thing?

I savored the game and took my time to get everything!

@@Ultrakrill2411 it's quite easy actually, most games arent hard in general. Very high accuracy of wepons and overpowered explosives are your friends. But this last fight is pain in the ass. Extremaly tanky robot with outpowered weapon in room with almost no cover is shitty design. went straight to the easiest setting after using all available ammo on it. It's bullshit

The beginning was sad
Love the game but I have so many gripes with some of the poor design within it. The final boss fight was probably the tip of it. The lack of information you get really ruined it for me. I didn't know if I was making any progress by shooting him, I didn't know where he was after a while, I didn't know if there was a secondary objective to take out first to weaken him or anything. DOOM had far better game design elements in terms of both level design and boss fights, and had better shooter mechanics to boot. With this game being praised as the best FPS of the year, much like DOOM 2016 was, I expected it to be on that level, but it falls short. I did enjoy it overall, but its more around a 7/10 for me rather than the 9/10 I'd give DOOM.

+Mister M Naah, he's the ancestor of the Doom Guy. Blazkowicz actually fought the "Cyberdemon" (without all the "cyber") in Wolfenstein RPG and was told that they will meet in the future or something like that. Doom Guy in the Doom RPG is called Stan Blazkowicz, so it is further confirmed.

Why did BJ not knock the grenade out of his hand. He had like a full 3 seconds to do it. One swat with his right hand and it would have flew then he could have stabbed the knife right through his eye.
If I started clicking just hoping I could hit it then BJ totally could have.

I only play fps games on hardest difficulty and on pc deathsheads chain guns absolutly destroy you. Despite ps4 graphics not being to bad all FPS games belong on a real gaming PC I thought the graphics on PS4 to be quite blocky tbh. I kinda loved the "bed you have a nightmare on and then boom your playing the original wolfenstein back in the 80s" all in all I really recommend this game for serious PC gamers playing an FPS game on a controller just sucks period............OK let the hatred against PC gamers begin >D

Why do developers make these games with with less than rewarding endings. It is very disappointing to sit and play a game for so many hours to get a 2 minute ending. I’m lucky I only paid $6.

Really think they dropped the ball on this Boss Fight. Loses a whole rating point for me. The whole firing the cannons at the zeppelin thing is ridiculous. Non intuitive and even when I went up to one earlier the Button Prompt is mapped to such a small area that nothing popped the first time I went around and I thought it was just a non interactive background prop. Only when I watched this and realised you had to hover right over the handle to use them was when I realised what to do. Absolute shithouse
