Thanks so much for this. I have the Designer Edition so it didn't let me save as a png or jpeg. Instead, I had to (In Windows) use the snipping tool to save it as a png (or jpeg), then I could add to the Patterns folder in the Library. Thanks so much again for this very smart & clear video.😀
Me neither! I just dug around to find what I would use in Illustrator making patterns. They keep adding new features to Silhouette I can't keep up with them all! haha
Hi Debbie. Great tutorial! I had no clue that SS could be so advanced. I have a question though. I made a pattern, but when I scale very small I have lines. I did change the line style to transparent. Have you found this happens for you also? Is there a fix, maybe I didn't do something right. Thank you.
Hi Debbie, love the tutorial. I was able to do a seamless pattern in Silouette, to my suprise! (LOL). It was fairly easy, but when i used it in Cricut, and and I tried to shrink the pattern down, it showed a faint white line. It came out perfect, if I didn't shrink the pattern, but I wanted more of the design to fit on the page. I know in your video you mentioned this might happen. Have you figured out how to fix this yet and if so are you going to do a video on it?
@@DebbieDoesDesign Hi Debbie. Yes, I did a test print on a couple of different designs in Silhouette Business and Cricut. The light white line appearred in both when I tried to shrink it. Should I make my images much smaller when designing the seamless pattern? I am very new to this and especially using Silhouette Business. I have a Cricut only and Silhouette Business Edition. Thank-you.

That was excellent. I never even knew some of these tools existed and I've had it for years

Thank you so much! I could do this in Photoshop but couldn’t figure out how to make it move in the right amount in Design Studio! Thank you, Thank you
Thank your for sharing. I learned something new.
Thank you! Great tutorial. Love learning new things.
You're welcome! Thank you!
Thank you I didn't know how to load a pattern.

debra parker oh good! Have you done a test print, because the weird like you see in silhouette doesn’t always show up in the print for me.

New to this software-Could you tell me how you got the images that you use, please 🥰
The roosters were drawn by husband. The flowers I believe were just some clipart that I purchased to use for this example.
I've got Designer plus edition. I can't change the file to png...anyone know why or how I can fix it?
Do you do Cricut as well?
I’m sorry. I don’t use a Cricut.
