I need this in my life
Right! Me too lol
Those wheels look so good on that truck
It’s a great look!
Tyson Boser yea not all that chrome bullshit the college kids put on
True OBS... door handle on the dash
Only the real ones will know why
Lmao fr who needs door handles anyway
sagging front bumper too
I have the same body style 7.3 2wd looking forward to swap to solid axles and a fresh paint job. Sick
Solid axle is the best thing you’ll do it!
Absolutely timeless look
Yes it is!
Sick truck! Need more diesel content! Subscribed!
Thanks man!
I need this in my life and as of tmr it will BE in my life 😤🙏🏽
Congrats bud! Hope it works out!
@@floridafenceland1137 thanks man! Your giving me ideas and I love it 👍🏽
They don't make them like this anymore. A true time capsule right here.
I agree with you! Super nice old truck
He must have the Bluetooth driveshaft
He does, and Bluetooth transfer case
😂😂 I seen the same thing so correction still 2wd just looks the part of a 4.
Absolutely beautiful rig!!!
Thank you!
Very clean build
Thank you!
so sick
Thank you!
Letting freedom scream 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeeyee!
The Diesel Ranch hey are they gas guzzler I mean diesel guzzler I’m thinking of getting one
They aren’t too bad!
They aren't too good, either lol
The ultimate would be a crew cab...not a supercab. And the body would be straight without scratches and dents. And the engine bay would be super clean. But otherwise this is a very nice OBS PSD and I wish I had it.
I agree lol just tryin to get attention to the video lo
@@floridafenceland1137 look up a Centurion class in this design. It allows the backseat to unfold into a nice size bed.
Very nice
Thank you Michael, great name also
“Perfect”
2 wheel drive lol
Was originally 2WD...converted to 4x4
Andrew M no locking hubs
Ever heard of automatic locking hubs?
Maybe hope and change is putting power to those front wheels... since I drive shaft sure isn’t.
I'm gonna say that about 90 % of the people that have 4x4 trucks only put them in 4x4 about once or twice a year anyways
DIESEL,
Ain't it about time for you to give us an update on your E140 ?
I put a John Deere 40" tractor shovel - twin suitcase weights
bracket & twin weights plus Ag tires on my E140.
Just turned 49 hrs.
!
I’m so sorry, the e140 project was a total bust, the tractor was not heavy enough and I ended up selling it and I bought a 1990 wheel horse 314-H garden tractor
4wd without a front driveshaft?...
Still looks pretty 2wd to me tho… 🙃 I can’t judge tho, still need a drive shaft and to cut a hole in my floor…
I'm buying a truck tomorrow but it's a f150 same paint but uts the 4.9 4x4 5 speed and this is everything I want to do to it if I decide to build it
It would look awesome 👏
I have the exact same truck basically just bought mine two weeks ago and love it but my question is where did u buy ur automatic drop down running boards at
They are Amp research steps but they don’t make them for the old body style fords so these are off of a super duty and we made custom brackets
Can you give more info on the hardware and components used to get the 2wheeler Rig accept the tiresize? Can you provide a product link for the mentioned kit? Aiming to facelift my 2wd sooner than later aside from the leveling pucks
I think it’s made by sky off-road design
Or Stryker off road design one of those you’ll see it on your site this truck has there conversion with a 4 inch built into it
That is a nice truck
It’s in great shape man real nice rig
@@floridafenceland1137 Yeah, really enjoy your work bro, saw 3 videos so far and subbed
That’s awesome man I really appreciate it!
@@floridafenceland1137 no problem 👍
Needs a intercooler clean truck tho
I agree! Thank you!
Damn ,thing is SICK
May I ask what’s done to it trying to get ideas for mine
Where is the transfer case and front drive shaft?
Bluetooth for now
Normally when you lower it is down
Hey! You have done an amazing job on your 250!! I have a '95 F150 4.9 straight 6 sadly a 2WD.. with dual exhaust haha trying to sound like a diesel 🤙🏻💯... The beginning of the year I bought 17" Fuel Wheels and put them on 265 Falken tires😍 I don't have a lift so it's rubbing the front bar I guess when I turn really sharp.... Soooo if I get a 3" lift in the front and a 2" lift on the rear would that solve my problem? It's the pavement princess in my pfp♥️ Really wish she looked as good as yours! Thank you for your vids!! ✓&S ;-)
Yeah I’d do 3 and 2 and I think you’d like that!
@@floridafenceland1137 which brand you think is best?
Brands never really mattered to me I always use Amazon’s brand
@@floridafenceland1137 🤙🏻Gotcha
Yup! No prob!
The best 7.3s are the early 2 wheel drive 7.3s with forged rods and the ZF6 so you can put 250/200 injectors in it and a massive turbo and raise hell 🤠😂
🤠
So those 2 auxiliary filter things underneath allow you to delete the fuel bowl?
Yes because the fuel bowl usually holds the filter so you delete that and add under Frame filters
Idk about ultimate but it is very nice, I see an automatic and no intercooler, and I'm also partial to crew cab trucks, how does the truck do with the traction bars? I'm wanting to put a set on my 94 but I've heard of binding issues when loaded down heavy.
No intercooler yet! And it does great with the traction bars! I’d say do it I’ve never heard of any binding issues with them it’s only helped
@@floridafenceland1137 I've heard... just heard so no first hand experience that they bind when the rear end of the truck squats down due to alot of weight. But some type of traction bars are on my list of upgrades.
I would definitely do them you’ll really like
Them
I have a set of longhorn fab bars on mine and with 4tons in my dump trailer I haven’t had any problems with them binding up my setup is also comparable to this truck 4in lift but with 37s and 20x14 wheels
@@billmurry24 the traction bars that dont have a pivot area bind up when the truck is loaded down its how they are designed which puts stress on them that's why I was asking, I typically haul more than 10k lbs with mine so I need something that wont bind up when the truck squats.
Pretty sure it is still 2wd without that front drive shaft
whats the kit to run leaf springs on a 2wd?
Where did you get those floor boards
holy shit man, rip headphone users 5 seconds into the video
Never let ‘em know your next move
@@floridafenceland1137 lmfao
How big of a lift? I have a 7.3 like that color but I don't know how much of a lift I wanna put on it
Hey guys, do you know who I can pay to do some work on my 95 7.3? It has 159k miles on it and I want to keep it for a long time. It’s 2WD and I need a 4WD. I have a 1/2 ton 4WD and a 3/4 ton 2WD and I need a 4WD 3/4 ton haha I started a landscape business a pull a trailer almost every day. Not a bunch of weight everyday, but the trailer is always hooked up due to always having SOMETHING to haul. The trailer alone is 4450 pounds. Anyways, I’d love to get some advice or references or would pay yall to do it for all I care
Where are you located my friend?
@@floridafenceland1137 Fort Worth, Tx. This is the first video of y’all that I’ve seen so I subscribed but no idea where you’re located haha
I would line for someone to work on my 1993 f350 turbo diesel to I’m located in Los Fresnos Tx🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
What did y’all do about the front track bar? Or just not do one at all, doing the swap coming soon on my obs looking for help thanks
The red truck we did a custom one, my other 2 trucks had none at all
@@floridafenceland1137 thank you
No problem!
Givin credit where credits due.
At least you didnt brodoze it, kinda tired of all the obs brodozers.
Same not a fan
Brodoze? What’s that? The stupid leaning of the rear ended?
@@lodhi8972 24"s and mudterrains, what your thinkin of is just as horrendous the carolina lean
@@Ulfstigandr oooh hahahahaha I freaking HATE that and see it everyday here in Fort Worth Tx. I even see youngins doing it to freaking half tons haha Most people that do the 24’s and terrains ALSO do the Carolina lean.....so it’s a double whammy of douchery! I forgot that was called the Carolina lean. I had some old friends that went to Carolina for work and said they were eeevvverywgere
Yeah no we don’t do that much here in Florida
WHUT UP GUYS! From “THE CARPENTER DAD” channel, home of the 7.3L 97 OBS CREW-CAB UNICORN TRUCK. Thanks for sharing this video!
Thanks for
Commenting
Sooo I can’t even find a 7.3 200miles from my location. In any configuration, mileage and price. No 7.3’s in this body style
Damn man where are you located?? We have quite a few in Florida lol
The Diesel Ranch New England, probably means they all rusted away. We coat heavily during the winter months. Basically no obs in new York, Rhode Island, mass, CT.. hard to believe but I found nothing using many apps/sites
Yeah I would guess they are Probbaly mostly rusted out, sucks fly down to
Florida and buy one then drive it back up!
The Diesel Ranch that’s the plan, how much was this stock? Or at least something in solid condition 4wd?
This truck was 2wd when we bought it and we bought it from the original owner for 6,000$ which we thought was a pretty decent deal
The intro 😂😂😂😂😂
Honestly the into didn’t get enough love lol
@@floridafenceland1137 not nearly as much as it deserved. Lol
Easy Pete 😂😂😂
I’m looking at one that has 57k miles , 2 owner truck , and they want $24,000 , I wanna know if that’s a good price for that many miles and how reliable are these trucks ???, I also wanna add that I’ve been looking at the 2020 green trd pro tundras , I’m debating on which one I should get ,......any info would be appreciated 🙏🏼
They are good trucks but if you have 25k to spend I’d it on a newer truck
The Diesel Ranch Will I’m not planning on spending 24k , the most id spend if 17k saving myself room for any hidin and surprised problems
Any idea what hp/tq he's making?
He’s gotta be around 350-450 hp I’d say!
@@floridafenceland1137 thanks! He's got a GORGEOUS build! I'm on the hunt for a dually 7.3 psd to build, my goal is 450-500 rwhp but I'm looking for proof it can be done without and internal motor mods
Yeah this has never been dynoed but it deff feels fast and he hasn’t done turbo or hpop yet, if he did those it would be every bit of 450
Off 710 Martin country I got a 2012 6.7 we should meet up and do a over view I’m in Jupiter
I’m down man! I’m in buckingham fl
Sounds like a plan any weekend is good for me
Alright cool what city is near you?
The Diesel Ranch I’m in Jupiter palm beach County near west palm beach
If any car or truck is not the manual version of it then its not the ultimate one
So you lowered the truck down I lowered mine up
Love the truck. What year is it?
It’s a 97!
@@floridafenceland1137 Nice that's the best year.
Does anyone know what rims are on that truck?
Mickey Thompsons
Needs a tip
where can i get steering linkage like that? im looking for something like that for my excursion
I built this one, where are you located? I actually have this one off of the truck
So it has a 6 inch lift? Any offset on the wheels or spacers?
It’s close to a 6 inch yes and not sure they are 16x12 but not sure what the offset is
What transfer case?
that's bad bitch
Thanks! I will tell gage! Lol
Where did you get those drag links with the bigger bend in it?
Custom made
@@floridafenceland1137 Awesome!!!!🤙🏻
Where did he get the wicked wheel
I’m not too sure. Probably some diesel store online
I have a 7.3
Good trucks man
Yessir
How wide is the wheel?
12 inch wide
I wish the smoke cleared up on mine, even at 30 psi it's still rollin
What injector do you run? My trucks all stock and the smoke clears as soon as the turbo lights
I’m sorry I was referring to my Cummins, yeah this Obs will roll if you stay in it but if you go to 75% throttle it’s pretty clear
I just have full force 180cc stage 1s
I'm trying to redo my efuel setup but idk what fittings to use on the fuel pump I was hoping you could help me out but I'm not sure if that's your truck
It’s my best friends truck, I could give you his name if you wanna message him on Facebook, I’m sure he would love to help you
Why is it missing the front driveline?
It’s bluetooth
He had a 2wd trans in it
He almost had us... That truck is still a 2WD.. Nice truck, but that's what is known as a 4th Avenue 4 wheel drive. waste!
I like that one that’s a good one lol
What color paint
Factory, similar to the ruby red on the new fords
That thing moves I’d like to line it up with my ecoboost
I think he would beat you
The Diesel Ranch you think ??
It’s pretty fast, if you both kept it in 2wd I think it would be super close
Those Ecoboost trucks have some serious pull to them..
Definitely would be close but I think the ecoboost would get the stroke
What is the size lift in this beauty
It’s 6 inches total, has a 4 inch shackle relocation kit, and 2 inch blocks, with 35x12.50 tires on 12 wide wheels! Really looks nice on that truck
The Diesel Ranch I wanna do a setup similar to my 2001 7.3, looks so beast man
It would look great on an 01!
The Diesel Ranch for sure, i currently have a really similar setup but this lovely obs inspired me to go bigger
Hell yeah brother
Great truck except for all the needless black smoke.
It happens with bigger injectors. Doesn’t smoke when you daily Drive
Coal rolling 💯♥️🤙🏻
Does the bank know what you did to it
She paid for bud!
If I could find a bone stock 1997 powerstroke 2wd. I’d pay $10,000 right now
This truck is for sale for 10,000 firm
Unfortunately this one isn’t for me. I want a completely bone stock one that is 2wd. I’m eventually going to buy a 97 power stroke and build a luxury prerunner.
Did you say a lift block up front?!?!?!??! 😬😬
Yep!
Hmmmm 🤔🤔 ouch!
It’s it a 4 door ....no .......be a lot cooler if it was
😂😂
Ultimate ??? No front drive shaft because there's no transfercase and the front mono-leaf spring with what amount to a 4 inch front lift block disguised as a bunch of ad-a-leafs. not everone has a stack of money to spend i get it, first and foremost make it safe then get the pimp rims and mall crawler rubber band tires🤷🏻♂️
It’s actually a factory leaf spring with a 4 inch reverse shackle kit it’s more than safe did you not see it catch air in the first 15 seconds lol
let me send you my 1995 7.5 2WD
All those mods and you didnt put in a intercooler? Rookie. Your wasting money and power.
I think he has a 6.0 intercooler waiting to go on
@@floridafenceland1137 it's a good idea. It needs that cold breath of air with all that smoke and help with egts
Yeah 100% a good idea
Ugliest mirrors. Get the better ones please
Which ones are you talking about being the better ones?
Beautiful truck other than the tires. Why would anyone do that to a truck? Looks completely ridiculous
Looks cool
I agree with Crazy Acres on that one🤙🏻You wouldn't like the looks of my F150 sitting on 265/65/ R17 ♥️
What a dumbass way to present and run a diesel. City slickers... I tell ya.
>"ultimate"
>has crooked front bumper.
>has mangled passenger door
>has janky steps for the manlet to get in.
>doesnt even have a t4
>has ts chip
>baby swamps trash injectors
>not ultimate
>lifted on blocks.
>pathetic
It’s ultimate
😂
Definitely not ultimate more like a nice work truck/ DD
The suspension wouldn't be worth anything for actual work unfortunately.
Jacob Olness that makes no sense, these trucks have been working since forever with this suspension, not to mention every super duty up until 05, so your comment makes no sense.
What Kit for the Axel Swap?
