I'm going to the Tatras in 2 weeks, and I'm soooo looking forward to it! I spent a huge part of my childhood there, and that place is always calling me back. Love it. Great content! Looking forward to checking out your other videos!
I have been going to these mountains for many years, you showed my beloved Tatra Mountains in an amazing way, you brought out their true nature and this mysterious face. The weather in the Tatras is capricious, hopefully you can come back in slightly different, better conditions. Though hazy they are beautiful. I wish you the best!
Well i coming back there either as much as possible, Tatras are not highest, but surely one of the most beautyful and pictoresque mountains in Europe. So shame, everything od getting more and more commercialized every next year.. love them though. Greetings from PL
I have been planning a 2-week trip to Europe for next spring of 2025. I used a solo travel agency as I'm traveling alone, and since I'm a Senior Citizen, I'd feel more comfortable with a group of solo travelers. I chose a Best of Central Europe "package" and will be visiting Vienna, Prague, Krakow, the Tatra Mountains and Budapest. I'd never heard of the Tatra Mountains (most Americans aren't familiar with the mountain ranges over there). The Google images were fantastic, and I also wanted to check the place out on UA-cam and am not disappointed. I just hope the weather cooperates!
Great video Alex, and awesome pictures as always 🤙🏼 As a Slovak I gotta say that most of those mountains in your pictures are in Slovakia. In fact, most of High Tatras are in Slovakia, you gotta come and check it out for yourself! 🙌
Not 'most of those mountains are in Slovakia', but some of them in the distance are, which is obvious while standing on Polish-Slovakian border. Most of the mountains in this video are in Poland.
Great video, gorgeous pictures. I need to correct you on one name though - Hala Gąsienicowa is the name of the glade where the shelter is located, the name of the shelter itself is Murowaniec
So beautiful. The Tatras are only around 10 hours of driving by car away from my place in Germany. Will definitely visit them as soon as the pandemic is somewhat under control.
This is awesome, thanks for the fresh perspective! - I wish we had mountain huts like this scattered throughout the Cascades. I've had the Tatras on my mind since reading "Art of Freedom: The Life and Climbs of Voytek Kurtyka" and this film has captured so much that the book evokes. Can't wait to travel again.
It's strange and fascinating to hear my own language in your film at the same time. I haven't seen the Tatra Mountains for a long time. I moved to the north of Poland, although I come from the south. I miss trips to our mountains very much. I think I will make up for it this Easter. Thanks for the movie.
Very nice video! :) High Tatras are absolutely beautiful from both sides but most of the mountain range is on our Slovak side so you should definitely visit and make some great memories ✨
would you mind sharing the name of the place where you were staying? that white hut? think it is this one: Sarnowska Grapa at Rzepiska ul. Pawliki.. (on the online hunt to find more about it :D )
It was nice to show you our lovely river and its inhabitants! You showed the region from good perspective, congrats for this project. Hope to see your filming crew again, greetings!
Very nice and inspiring video! Thank you! I'm happy to see that also the counties from est Europe are promoted and a destination on the photographers travel list. I hope some day you will have time to visit more and come to Romania. 😊
I love this - I noticed you went in the mountain huts but what was the white accomodation at the start ? Also did any of you tent camp or is it huts only allowed ? What time of autumn was this please I'm thinking of going
Really enjoyed this, nice video. Almost feels like we were along for the trip with you. Would love to visit Poland in the future (both the mountains and the cities!)
When covid ends this is what is up for me .I live in Finland and I'm done with norway and sweden.Really no, I will never be done with norway it is so beautiful. But after 20 years it's time to explore something else.Don't worry norway you are the most beautiful that I have ever seen. But now time to go south and see something new.Time to get out of the comfort zone .not understanding the language and so on.Time to try to be young and stupid again. And after my bus journey from Tallin to krakow in 2019 I flew back to finland. But when the plane took off in krakow I saw the mountains and I love mountains. So I must get back down there and continue my journey south.Who knows how far I have to go,all I know is I must go back.
Love the sunset shots in the mountains. We've just started creating our own travel videos on our channel and trying to find inspiration. Really enjoy the video style with the voice overs. I would love to find this mountain hut one day!
Wanted to go there in April, had already booked a bed in a mountrain hut near Morskie Oko, but unfortunately I had to pull out. Thanks for the nice video, this helps a bit with the Fernweh.
You need to visit this place if your a mountain fan. The high tatras part looks so amazing. They are extreme and rocky and the valleys are beautiful. If u are wondering what the special place at 8:10 that is the halfway part to the top of the Rysy mountain which is the highest place in poland
What do you mean by "I emailed the Polish Tourism Office to see if they would have me over. They said yes!"? Why would you need to ask them if you can come to Poland?
if you are talking about the wooden one, my guess is that is “Betlejemka” but it could be “Murowaniec” shelter, which is more accessible and located in the same area.
Made me appreciate homesick watching this video- you really managed to capture the soul of the place ❤
Wow what a wonderful cinematography and beautiful storytelling!

And what about tour plans ? 😏
Amazing video! Just went on a 4 days hike to Tatra Mountains and to me are the Andes of Poland! Love your videos, thanks for showing some good stuff!

Poland is located in the central part of Europe.
@@Dryb1as Poland is considered Eastern Europe.
@@guaporeturns9472 better check map 😉
@@Dryb1as Better check with INSOL Europe , EECC and the EU. I’ll wait
@@guaporeturns9472 Ok. From Warsaw to Lisbon is about 3400 km and from Warsaw to Ural mountains is about 3900 km. So, Warsaw is almost in the middle.
I love the music and the forest sceen oh man so beautiful~ I want to be there someday :)
Good vibe on this one amigo

Did someone say "bon appejtitooow" :D LOL
Where is the little White House you've stayed in?

4:50 that’s where I saw a bear in the wild for the first time in my life... she was really close and had two little cubs with her
In Poland is just asmall part of Tatras
What is the name of the montain hut please.

Your pronunciation of Hala Gąsienicowa was slightly off... But otherwise a great video with stunning and wonderful views. Keep it up.
@ what?
@ What kind of godforsaken alphabet is this? If anything it should be Gonsiynicowo Hola.
To much you to little tatra.
