Sour cream sauce on gnocchi(aka haluš(sh)ky) is made from Bryndza - salty spreadable sheep cheese(I believe it was in the white spread you had as appetizer) and this whole wombo combo with bacon is national dish of Slovakia called Bryndzove halušky.

well , slovakia tourism department usually offers only bratislava, kremnica and high tatras... and dont get me wrong, those places are beautiful, but slovakia have so much to offer for tourists but usually nobody knows about them. there is most castles in middle europe, so many forests and mountains for square km and more than 6000 already explored caves... but again "usually the most beautiful of those gems, nobody knows" . So i appreciate vlogs like this. Because when i visit the foreign country, people dont even know where slovakia is.
Personally ive been in high tatras 26 times... its about 2.30h trip from my home so basically 3-4 times per summer i just go there with my uncle and sibilings.. honestly one of best memories of my life

Slovakia very nice❤😊
So true!
Proud of you guys, that you did not go in the traditional tourist foot wear the Crocs in to Tatras :D
Haha our shoes could have better but they weren't THAt bad 😅
Thanks for sharing this guys, what a nice video 🤗
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Nice video... I am from Slovakia and I know our cousine... but when I saw your dinner, I had goosebumps (like the good ones). :D
The food was really incredible!
how wonderful, you have such a great weather guys 😍
we've visited High Tatras just a few weeks ago and it was raining mostly the whole time 😭but it was still a lot of fun tho
safe travels ✌🏽
We got so lucky with the weather. So glad to hear you still had a great time!
It was soo yummy!
Thank you for sharing our beauty to people!❤ Greetings from Slovakia😇
Thanks for watching!
PSA slovak food can be very heavy, so if you try that platter (and you really should), make sure you sleep with the windows open and avoid confined spaces the next day.
I will be in the Tatras in a couple of days but in the opposite side, Zakopane, Poland😊🌲😄Happy Trails!
Pozdravujem zo Slovenska spod Vysokých Tatier. žijem tu a potvrdzujem že máloktoré štáty majú takú krásnu prírodu ako je na Sk.
love your energy! :) great video! what state in the US would you compare Slovakia to?
Un video espectacular!!! Pronto estaremos en ese lugar con la ayuda de Dios. Eslovaquia un país muy bello!!!
Going there soon... Bratislava, Bojnice area, and Tatras. 4 nights! Slovakia looks awesome.
The Green Lake is green due to presence of copper in nearby land.
The valley is fresh and green as it faces directly east and is shaded early afternoon by one of the highest peak of High Tatras.
That's so interesting! We did not not know that , thanks for sharing!
well , slovakia tourism department usually offers only bratislava, kremnica and high tatras... and dont get me wrong, those places are beautiful, but slovakia have so much to offer for tourists but usually nobody knows about them. there is most castles in middle europe, so many forests and mountains for square km and more than 6000 already explored caves... but again "usually the most beautiful of those gems, nobody knows" . So i appreciate vlogs like this. Because when i visit the foreign country, people dont even know where slovakia is.
🇸🇰🤍💙❤️🇸🇰 Yes, our beloved Slovakia is very beautiful and not only because of the High Tatras. Thanks for sharing, guys. 😉👍
Personally ive been in high tatras 26 times... its about 2.30h trip from my home so basically 3-4 times per summer i just go there with my uncle and sibilings.. honestly one of best memories of my life
Wow that's awesome, so lucky!!
Way to go Sammy!! 👊 You guys have captured such beautiful views! 🤗
Sammy killed it! It was such a gorgeous place 😍 Appreciate the support!
Very well made video. So much effort, so many shots great job, both of you. Slovakia is an amazing country with horrible leadership (politicians). But one day, it will get better. Never loose a hope! :)
Thanks for recognizing the effort, appreciate it! We are so happy you enjoyed the video 🤗
❤ es lo mejor
gracias 🤗
these places are cold, snow around the shelves, surprised to see so many dressed up for summer beach life
We were so lucky to have great weather!
Good job exploring our country 🙂
Did you know that the snake in 11:45 is Vretenica (deadly poisonous) ?
You deserve financial reward for this video!☝🏼
Wonderful camera work👏🏻😮
We did not know about the snake until the comments, kinda scary! So happy you enjoyed the video 💞
Very well filmed! You are awesome. 😻
The Tatras are beautiful, but they can also be dangerous. Hiking shoes are important. :)
Thanks for this great video Sammy and Tommy. Seemed like filming this hike made it more difficult with holding the GoPro Stick and going back for your camera. Luckily you both made it without falling. The scenery there was absolutely breath taking on video and probably even more so in real life. The Slovakian food looked amazing as usual.
It was such an epic hike 😍 it was a lot more work filming the hike but so worth it! The food was so delicious 🤤 thank you for the comment!
You mean Slovak food. There's no such word Slovakian.
