You're extremely entertaining mate! I already know this bike well, but still couldn't skip any bit of the video because of your lovely personality, cheers
Wow this video is a massive step up, getting a bike to review, new camera angles! Everything you could ever want all in one video. Cant wait until you can get bikes for reviews from dealerships
Honda have just replaced this with the Hornet 500, also Kawasaki have a z500 which is the same power as my z400 it just been tuned for the new regulations. I have a full license but love my Z400 and don't feel I need more power and I love that it's very light and very flickable.
Hello mate,I couldn't agree more with you,I found one a guy is selling that has taken absolutely great care of for a 2015,for 3100,it does have miles on it but I don't care for my first manual bike but technically second bike they I'll be happy with to have an use as a daily commuter an have to learn to use it without a gear indicator or until I install one,but yes less electronis for all weather not to be able to harm an wear an tear is fabulous, cause in reality an don't get me wrong,I love the KTM Duke 390,but if your tft display or electronics goes out, your gonna be paying a pretty penny to get it fixed properly, well anyway thanks for the review lad,you sound like a good level headed young man, stay safe an ride safe out there, coming all the way from America,I remember on my first day of riding to work,i almost got hit in the parking lot looking to park because people simplify don't pay attention an always on their phone,so I had started learning to ride as I'm invisible to other people cause essentially we are, some pay attention an watch out for us an give us space, some nearly want to ride in your lane with you or not stop behind you an it's scary.
I owned a cbr500r of for 6 years (same bike) from new up until recently. loved it to bits, Never faulted. Was used it all year round as a commuter. Unfortunately it was stolen in october so ive moved onto a full licence and now awaiting delivery of my new bike. As for the stock tyres, mine were Dunlop sportmax tyres and they were horrible imo, especially in the rain so they got replaced quickly. Mine had an akrapovic slip on. A must have imo - 1000x better noise Only thing i disliked about the bike was how soft the suspension felt and the old fashioned mahoosive indicators are ugly. They fixed that on the newer models to led's
Oh no way it got stolen!! So sorry about that, whta bike have you ordered? Yeah I think this would be great with an akro exhaust for sure, also I completely agree with you on the indicators!
Yet another great review pud! or should I call you duck? 🤣, seriously though you should consider going to a dealer and getting a bike to test by pretending you want to buy it and do a review as this is deffo your thing mate! ... And guess what... I've finally bit the bullet and got a bandit 600!! 🥳 my cbt is booked for this Friday then onto the big boy lessons! I'm so excited haha
Thanks so much matey!! Yeah I've massively enjoyed doing the review videos especially this one, fingers crossed I can get an oppurtunity like that to get my hands on some more bikes! Wooooo nice one mate best of luck with all of it!!
@@pudmoto I can tell mate it shows in your enthusiasm lol, don't stop the random waffle videos either as that is why I originally subbed 😆, Yeah you will get that opportunity mate I have faith in you! ahhhh thanks bro, I'll be able to join you in a ride out this summer if I pass my big boy test 🤞
Honestly, upside down forks are a bit pointless on a regular road-only bike. Any reduction in unsprung mass like that also tends to reduce ride comfort, which is not really what you want on a bike like this.
Its heavier so it is more stable through corners. My 125 would have gonna wide. Aslong as its able to haul my fatass up a steep hill without me needing to downshift then its my baby even tho I have a full licence. Getting a older cb500 f as cant afford the newer one so watching this. Tho I must say my CST chinese tyres that I had on my 125cc are soo grippy havent slipped at all on them.
It will do the trick mate don't worry, i've got a chubby ass myself and it managed absolutely fine!!! Such an awesome bike, My dad has actually just sold it unfortunately

Yeah I think to be honest they will all be great options around the 500cc engine size, power and weight is so good hand in hand

This would make an awesome A2 bike. If/and I decide my 650R is too hungry, this one is on the list.
Yeah I really do think so! Really manageable too
Top content as always bro , is it uncle puds next 😮 , haha safe mate
Oh mate I wish!!! He's literally got a 2023 Ninja 1000sx 😱😱

@@pudmoto 2024 cbr650r
@@Sir_Kuang Mega choice!! Beautiful looking bike
I like the idea of the 500X as a second bike. There are quite a few places I'd love to ride around, but I don't see myself taking the 650R there 😅
Yeah the adventure type version of this would be brilliant to go to a whole host of different places! On and off road
I have the cb125F and i love it, looking to do my test later this year and upgrade though. 😄
You thinking of upgrading to a cb500f???
@@pudmoto it’s an option. Might go with something completely different though to try out some different bikes.
Yeah thats fair enough, defo a great option though
Love the content keep up the great and entertaining videos, what would you say is the best 125 when it comes to power and looks??
Thanks very much bud I certainly will, well I can't speak for all of them but the Honda cb125r and the yamaha mt 125 are both up there for sure
@@pudmoto thanks I appreciate your opinion
@@kubusek_1 No problem!!!
Lovely bike😊 But i got to say the Hornet 24 version is much better looking.
Oh I 100% agree

Beauty of a bike mate. Looks lovely. Are you gonna take it?
I'd love to mate but unfortunately not in a financial position to
@@pudmoto Yeah I get you mate. That's how I feel tryna grab my first 125
I'll be honest, it looks old hat, even compared to your old Cb125r, it's like the classic cbf125 chassis.
@@PaulioMaldinioThey did that with the new Hornet too. Any time I look at it I see my old 125.
Its mainly insurance more than anything now too
Spent many a weekend riding up at the flappits
