How To Make Candied Kiwi

- Learn How To create this delicious treat! As you watch this video you’ll Learn the best way to make candied fruit and understanding how to dip this unique fruit in this candy mixture.
I’m using a small recipe. You can use my 411 recipe but I only needed to create a small mix to cover 6 - 8 kiwi.
⚠️DO NOT FREEZE THEM BEFORE DIPPING
⚠️DO NOT FREEZE THEM AFTER DIPPING
they will make the kiwi too soft and too weak to hold the apple stick.
You can choose any container of your choice that will hold the small treat. They can be placed in a small container and placed in the refrigerator or you can leave them out.
The shelf-life for these can last up to two weeks.

Recipe:
3 cups Sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup
This is a small mix I used this recipe to cover what I needed.
It will cover up to 6 - 8 kiwi depending on the size of the fruit.

This would be great if you grew kiwi berries! They are basically a kiwi the size of a large grape and they are not fuzzy not that it matters much!! But they are like bite size kiwi and there are a few varieties that grow in the northern US…
These were very pretty. I love Kiwi. If you don't want to dip them this way, couldn't you slice these into slices and dip like we do dipped pineapple slices? Thank you in advance.
You could do that but it will be extremely hard to dip kiwi in it’s raw form. But if you do that and cut it in slices you will have to freeze them and then dip them but they definitely wouldn’t last a day

How long before a order do I make them? And do the kiwi have to be room temperature?
You can dip them at room temperature and if you have a order, you just prepare them and dip them and after you have dipped them, then you package them and placed them in the refrigerator.
How long do these last in room temperature? Can we put in fridge or ice chest?
If dipped with the skin on it will last a week or longer. Package them and place in the fridge
Can I not peel & freeze them as I would a pineapple?
Right. I was thinking about freezing it and wrapping it in a fruit roll up to make sure the coating sticks.
