I use a Gun Fighters chest holster and find it comfortable under my binos, but here is a compromise: get an kydex iwb holster, they way nothing, clip it on your pack then when you dump your pack for a stalk stick it in your waist band and reholster your pistol. That way your gun is always on you whether glassing, stalking or shooting a deuce .

I am the same way I leave my pistol on my hip belt and if I drop my pack it stays. Good luck for the rest of your hunts

Dude I stack my 10 mm clips the same. I call it the poke and tear system. I live in Wyoming and hunt grizzly country quite a bit.

Poke and tear 😂😂 I’m using that for now on! Glad to hear the way I went about it was the same as a resident griz country hunter.
