Mine will be 2031. There have been several that we haven't had. We didn't have a 40th, and I'm guessing that COVID was, if not wholly responsible for it, then it was for the most part, anyway.

This makes me want to cry. Life is so fleeting. Every wrinkle and gray hair is a reminder of smiles shared, laughter, pain, life lived and so much more!!! I'm still in my 20's and already overwhelmed by how beautiful, sad, and awe inspiring life can be. I can't imagine being 40 much less a 40th anniversary, so many more memories to come!!!
Try to enjoy every day and have fun, I am turning 60 and I am not rich, but I can look back and say I had a blast when I was young and would not trade it for any amount of money. You only live once.

I'm only 21 but the passage and fear of time already interests me. I remember being in high school thinking subconsciously that age would never end. Consciously I knew it would, but it felt like it wouldn't. I grew up on games where no one ages and you can play infinitely. Real life is different. There is no going back. There is an end. I hate it.
I used to feel like you. I’m 18. I think it is common to feel distress about life and time at this age. I even cried about it, hard-I felt like my childhood was disappearing and with it, me. I learned to see things differently. Ageing is just a word to describe moving from stage to stage in your life. Each stage opens different and new opportunities and experiences you wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. So many people cry because they fear missing out on ageing and growing up and seeing time pass. Time is a joy of life, it means change and experience. A world where time stood still would be horrifying. If you want to go back to the past, something is wrong in your life and you must work to fix it if possible. Ageing as a process is lamentable though as you lose bodily functions slowly. But why cry about gravity?
It is normal to feel that way in your 20s. I am 32 now, so when this video was made I was about the same age as you 22. Don’t worry too much just enjoy the ride, you’ll figure it out soon. Stay positive and live free 💪👍.

It's so interesting randomly getting recommended this and realizing that my dad was also class of 1973! I was class of 2020, and I hope to also grow into myself and age as gracefully as all of these people and my dad's friends have.

When they were young, vibrant, and good-looking, it doesn't mean they're going to look like that for the rest of their lives. No matter what color you are, or how good your genetic is, when you pass the age of 60, this is what happens. All of a sudden now you have wrinkles all over your face, saggy skin, and short-term memory loss. So people age and so do you. Does that mean you will be ugly when you're 60? Well, if you have a couple thousand dollars on your retirement fund that you can pull out for some plastic surgery, maybe that will help just a tad bit but if you piss off someone, they would still come at you with "You old bastard". If you ever wonder how my generation’s HS experience went (born in the 90’s) check out the movie Superbad. Let me know if you see any similarities. I’ve seen dazed and confused and a few things have changed. schools are more strict with normal things kids need to explore. PDA/fights. Confrontation and love needs to be explored and trained in every man and woman before they can consider themself an adult in my opinion. Whole lot of kids running around these days who should have gotten hit with a wood shop DIY paddle but didn’t lol. A lot of things are the same though. Hope you are doing well there sir

Their school pictures look so pretty.. Back at my old high school they took a picture of me in the girls bathroom, zoomed in, greasy skin, with extreme frizzy hair and they also spelled my name wrong. They didn't take a professional picture of me because I was a new student.
I'm 41 years out of high school. A lot of my fellow graduates have moved away from the area. A few, sadly, have passed away. Once in a while I run into one of them in town. Getting harder to recognize each other. But, thankful for the forever bond with those folks that I shared so much of my youth with.

Don't know how I got here but it's nice to see this how everyone looked back in those days I was born in 1969 so I was about 4 years old this is so cool to see I'm so glad to watch these I love the 70s even though I was just a little girl I love the way they dressed and the hairstyles this is a nice video to watch it's so strange to see how things have changed over the years.
Great job! Love how you put it together. I graduated inn 1971 and when we had our 40th reunion, I got to the venue, went to the room that was listed on the easel for our party, and when I got to the room, I said to myself "I must be in the wrong room, there is nothing but old people in here". Yes, I was in the right room, and I suddenly realized, I was one of the old ones too. But the reality check was the board with pictures of all those who have passed. Makes one grateful to be alive, albeit, old.

I'm only 21 but the passage and fear of time already interests me.
I remember being in high school thinking subconsciously that age would never end. Consciously I knew it would, but it felt like it wouldn't. I grew up on games where no one ages and you can play infinitely. Real life is different. There is no going back. There is an end. I hate it.
I share the sentiment… same age and I just can’t imagine how things will change 20 years from now (myself even).. that’s if I’ll still be around
I used to feel like you. I’m 18. I think it is common to feel distress about life and time at this age. I even cried about it, hard-I felt like my childhood was disappearing and with it, me. I learned to see things differently. Ageing is just a word to describe moving from stage to stage in your life. Each stage opens different and new opportunities and experiences you wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. So many people cry because they fear missing out on ageing and growing up and seeing time pass. Time is a joy of life, it means change and experience. A world where time stood still would be horrifying. If you want to go back to the past, something is wrong in your life and you must work to fix it if possible. Ageing as a process is lamentable though as you lose bodily functions slowly. But why cry about gravity?
I'm the same... finished school in 2010, and boom here we are and I'm 32 😂 Life is short!

When they were young, vibrant, and good-looking, it doesn't mean they're going to look like that for the rest of their lives. No matter what color you are, or how good your genetic is, when you pass the age of 60, this is what happens. All of a sudden now you have wrinkles all over your face, saggy skin, and short-term memory loss. So people age and so do you. Does that mean you will be ugly when you're 60? Well, if you have a couple thousand dollars on your retirement fund that you can pull out for some plastic surgery, maybe that will help just a tad bit but if you piss off someone, they would still come at you with "You old bastard". Again, cuz ur 60, wake tf up

I’ve seen dazed and confused and a few things have changed. schools are more strict with normal things kids need to explore. PDA/fights. Confrontation and love needs to be explored and trained in every man and woman before they can consider themself an adult in my opinion. Whole lot of kids running around these days who should have gotten hit with a wood shop DIY paddle but didn’t lol.

Back at my old high school they took a picture of me in the girls bathroom, zoomed in, greasy skin, with extreme frizzy hair and they also spelled my name wrong.
They didn't take a professional picture of me because I was a new student.
I'm 41 years out of high school. A lot of my fellow graduates have moved away from the area. A few, sadly, have passed away. Once in a while I run into one of them in town. Getting harder to recognize each other. But, thankful for the forever bond with those folks that I shared so much of my youth with.

I graduated inn 1971 and when we had our 40th reunion, I got to the venue, went to the room that was listed on the easel for our party, and when I got to the room, I said to myself "I must be in the wrong room, there is nothing but old people in here". Yes, I was in the right room, and I suddenly realized, I was one of the old ones too. But the reality check was the board with pictures of all those who have passed. Makes one grateful to be alive, albeit, old.

Class of 1974...only 104 in our graduating class. Sadly, at least 40 are no longer with us.😢 I went from 1st grade to 12th with many of them. We were a pretty wild bunch.😎
Dang I wanna how their life was. Decades have passed and for sure their life stories, lessons and experiences are hella lot to learn. Plus soo good to see that a lot of them aged well. How ironic and exciting life is!

This video reminded me of my high school graduation :) They showed photos of us in the 7th grade and compared it to what we looked like in the 12th grade. It was such a beautiful feeling and I couldn't help but cry. Thank you for uploading this even though I don't know anyone in this video haha
