Headlights is one of the best ever. Got my Polestar 4 here up in north Sweden 50% of the day is almost dark here already. Been driving a lot during nights and this car is the best. Especially the headlights. Great ones. Upgraded to Polestar 4 from Tesla S 2021. Best decisions ever. Even had Tesla Y 2022 for one year and damm so happy I finally got the best car on the roads.
Totally new to electric cars. I know nothing…. The range on the PS4 is mentioned as being 620km and you mention that you get a range of 422km. under the good conditions in this test. Just to clarify, is the range of 422 km on a 100% charged battery and then equals more than 30% lower range than stated?? That is bad in my eyes, so let me know if I misunderstand
The car does 560 km in today’s weather up in north Sweden. 20°. If it’s like 10° a lot of wind and drive fast off course maybe 450km will probably be closer and same during winter. Probebly 400km-550km during winter. Summer day and no wind and drive at max 100km/per hour and you will 100% make 600km. My Tesla I had before said 600 km and it actually does like 350 km during winter. The polestar 4 will be way better in all cases because it’s verry good build so not a lot of cold come into the car as it does with Tesla.
i'm confused with the interior spec. I see NO tiny holes in the seats, so i'm assuming it's the microtech and not leather spec. But your Middle console is all black too which should only be like that when part of the black leather pack. In the microtech trim it would have to be white. Or maybe different in your region...? or some kind of pre production? EDIT: nevermind, just realized that the car without the plus pack has all black interior too :D I just never assumed you'd be driving the PS4 without plus pack - i hardly think anyone would spec it like that :D but anyways, thanks for the content
Toke delivery of mine last week and man you gonna enjoy it. Best car I have ever drivin and owned. A lot of times I’m just bored and I just go out for a drive on nice roads. Super car. 🚙
Same here but Sweden and mine is at 19.5 khw/100km. But I drive most of the time max 100km per hour and also alone in the car. I try to drive as good as possible. seen a lot of phones drive past me in Sweden but I guess that’s because the new polestar is verry cool car. Also work buddy’s been shocked when they have seen the car and a lot of them have also ordered the polestar 4 after had driven and seen my car 🚙
Aren’t no problems. Have had my Polestar 4 for almost 2 weeks. Not a single one. Absolutely the best car I owned and I have had Mercedes, Teslas and one Audi also. This polestar is for sure the one with the best build quality and also the silence in the car. No wind sounds and almost no road sounds. Best car they have done and for sure one of the best EVs right now.
Hi my Kia E-Niro would easily do more than that at that speed and temperature and that only has a 64Kwh battery. Sorry if I haven’t seen your Kia review if you’ve done one I only just subscribed after finding your excellent channel. I thought there was hope it would go over 400 miles?
@@graham5649 that just isn't true. I've tested the e-Niro in winter and it did 271km (169 miles). I haven't tested the e-Niro in summer, but I have tested the Kona Electric which is basically the same car but with better aerodynamics (lower Cd) and it manages 296km (185 miles). Look at the chart at the end of the video, not EV comes even close to 400 miles. Maybe a Lucid Air GT would get close, but that's just about the only car. ua-cam.com/video/T-yhWqZoZSI/v-deo.html
I’m sorry Kris but at 18-19•c I will get a full charge of 315 miles and it will average 4.7mkw. I’m going to Gatwick airport this Friday at 5am and coming back at midnight next week and that’s 96 miles each way. On a full charge I will get back with 70 or 80 miles left I’ve done it several times. 70mph nearly all the way. 2 up with luggage. Are you driving the Kia’s with the regen on? If so switch it off they coast. I know you’re the expert but I do this journey often.
Thanks for the updated test, hopefully you will get another car once the update to the systems comes out. I’m hoping they can also push up the range a bit on both models. With Zeeker 001 getting a new battery with faster charging, it would be nice to see that come over to Polestar as well.
The refreshed Zeekr 001 won't be shipping outside of China anytime soon. I suspect that Polestar 4 will get 800V about the same time as the 001 refresh starts shipping aswell.
I'm thinking about that 800V architecture as well. I was planning to get a new car in the next 12 months, and this is on top of the list... but 800V would be worth waiting, say, another 6 months for.
Zeekr got the worst system do. If you get a EV at least get one with Android Auto like polestar have. It’s the best one. The zeekr system feels cheap and verry bad
What is the point of doing a range test in conditions we almost never drive in(specially in Norway), that is not real. The first test you did, that is a real range test. Or you mean that Polestar 4 is a car only for driving in good condition??
@@geiomm in eastern Norway we have less than 80 days of rain per year and we have more than 90 days of temperatures above 20c and almost 150 days with temperatures above 15c. So for 3-5 months of the year this exact test not only real, but very relevant. So not sure how this test isn’t real or revenant? Furthermore, I also test the same vehicle in colder weather so we get both results. If you don’t see the point of summer testing, why are you watching this video? Just watch the ones done in colder weather. I also got the car for test this week, and I cannot control the weather. So it’s either testing or not testing. And there seems to be ten of thousands of people finding these tests useful. Remember you’re not the only one watching. But with all of that being said, only about 10% of people watching are from Norway, most are from the US and UK. The numbers don’t lie, most tests are done in good weather and very few are done in very bad conditions. So statistically this test is much more realistic than the first one. So you are just wrong mate.
@@KrisRifaDon’t agree on this, i know that every wltp test is done under the most ideal conditions, and in my opinion that’s wrong. Cause we don’t drive mostly under ideal conditions. @@geiomm That is also the case for ICE cars and their consumption. well unlike you, I cannot actually see the future and how the weather might actually turn out. Thanks for a retest Kris! I think it seems to be a lovely car, what’s your overall opinion of the car and does it justify the price?
Though I think it is a hard car to place in a category, I do think if is good value!
Any ride difference between 20,21,22-inch wheels? also, does it affect range as well?

Why does it deserve a re test and others don't?
