    Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    There’s no point in the black community pretending to want to better itself and also acting like we are above self criticism. What’s the point of therapy if everyone stays resistant to change.

    • @tanettacaleb7767
      @tanettacaleb7767 3 роки тому +2

      Hmmm...I think the point of this conversation, her podcast and other platforms I have seen pointing something out: people do want change. But accessibility to space to make change has been limited. How many people work 2 or 3 jobs. How many people see therapy as an outlet only for the wealthy? Let’s be real, with the deaths of B.Taylor and G.Floyd-a lot of people -not just black have thought about the many ways people and the world need to change. This is why therapy is important but also having someone that looks like you and speak to your life story can change a multitude of issues. There is hope for us all. Accountable whatever that looks like for anyone changes things-therapy for all! And I am sure Dr. Joy is doing well. The numbers don’t lie. Black women are healing!

    Somebody at iHeart needs to provide Charlamagne with a quiet keyboard. Not sure why they thought a mechanical keyboard would be a good idea for this sort of work, but clearly they didn’t anticipate Charla attempting to beat his touch typing speed record during every interview.

    The only logical option at this point would be Black Women pull out of all of these other movements and specifically push for their own specific needs to be addressed its about time. I assure you Black Men will be first in line to support these causes. All of the "intersection allies" gotta put up or shut up and we can finally start progress towards restoration of the Black Nuclear Family. We can't protect independent women thats an oxymoron. Therapy is also a necessary component in this process we've swept a lot of dirt under the rugs that need to be addressed. Anywho just my opinions I love all the gods! Peace
