Therapy for Black men is so important (Black women too). We need to continue the narrative that therapy is okay and sometimes a necessity when you've been through traumatic events in your life. This is another compelling reason why I have decided to focus my PhD studies on black men's health and mental health. Although, I was being discouraged...and was told to focus my studies elsewhere.

We need to make therapy a requirement for graduating high school and middle school especially in the inner city and privileged areas in the country to deal with the issues of diversity, PTSD, growing up with lil to no family LOVE and more...
