That melted my heart, I wish I got to see her perform live. I was a fan since her frank Era. I hope she knew she was loved by us, even though her life was rough. She left us from a broken heart, & that's why I love & relate to her so much. She was truly a very special empathic high consciousness lady.
What makes it works is it’s almost somewhat personalised, youd go to her show and you’d get a somewhat different take to however she was feeling that day
I didn't undetstand her back in the day, I looked at how the media made her look. I didn't really listen to her music. I was too young to apreciate her work. Now I miss her a lot

If I had one wish, I'd wish she was still here with us; lively and happy as ever. I've never missed someone as much as Mrs. Amy Winehouse. If she was still alive, I guarantee she'd take over the world with that voice. And, now, what's left is her profound, kick-ass legacy that I'll treasure until I die.
And she was so young. So young yet musically mature. Easily and worthily classified among the great ladies. Billie Holiday,Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse!
"What kinda fuckery is this?" - Amy Winehouse. It was my saying when this album first came out. Whether she is drunk or high or not, she sounded great. RIP Amy. I wish your fate could have been different because you were truly a sound that was a throwback to another era that is missed in music.
"What Kind Of Fuckery is This?" Will always be my favorite line amy has ever written. My idol has never had a filter when it came to writing her genius songs.
@@007Buzze It's not a straight cover. The original likely inspired her, but it's completely different lyrics. Slick Rick was 7 years old when the original was released. haha
So I'm convinced nas and Amy were more then just "good friends" . I love the line " mr destiny 9 and 14" because they were both born on September 14th. No one makes a song like this when you're just good friends. R.i.p. Amy forever in our hearts
Was looking for this comment, I don’t think they dated but def had a spiritual connection no doubt. She joked around with Nas and asked him to marry her Haa. Just something special. Nas clearly had love for her and also features her on cherry wine of course
I'm soon to be 26 and I just discovered her music. I arrived to the party late & long after the host departed. Such a shame, but she'll be dearly missed
that last minute and 5 seconds....from 1:43 on the line "what's playing Saturday" to the finish may be one of the great female vocal performances in the history of popular music, through headphones and loud it is transcendent.
Besides having a once in a lifetime voice, Amy showed she wasn’t the plastic Hollywood type. Very down to earth. It’s heartbreaking that she couldn’t see just how incredible she was. Rest easy, beautiful Amy!
Not her biggest hit but one of the soulest thing i've ever heard... Amy, you were not just a genius, you were a angel, sent on earth to make us smile...

The story behind this song is crazy and once you read it, is when you really really understand how good she was at crafting words into song without changing a single thing. RIP Amy...the music lives on forever.♥
She was too good for this world. There was too much ‘fuckery’ for her to handle. A unique and beautiful woman with an almost eldritch quality about her voice as if she were singing from years back before she’d been born. RIP Amy. Wherever you are I hope you’re performing, and when I leave this life, I’ll come and see you perform. Stay forever awesome. x

You can see the passion she holds when she rolls her eyes back in her head during the last couple of vocal runs. It makes me tear up every time. She was so amazing, I miss you so much Amy 😢💔
Nas was such an influence for Amy and it makes sense. They are the true definition of artist and their art will forever be remembered. They had a deeper bond together than most will never know.
Her voice is always unique and amazing. No matter how big the event, when the song is over, she'll quietly murmur "Thank you" and remind us of the little girl in her. I don't think she fully understood how loved she was.

If ONLY she had gone on to rehab she may be with us today. She came out when the Brittney Spears style of music was out. Amy did not care about the fancy lights and sound effects she was the real deal with her voice, writing and her musicians. The music world today uses Auto Tune and fake electronic music.
Evert Eriksson The drugs didn't kill her, she was told by doctors that if she didn't stop drinking it would stop her heart and she didn't listen, she died from the booze. After calling a friend and apologizing for everything she had done, she proceeded to drink herself to death
Irony is that the tragedy in her life became the basis of so much acclaim that her work was based on. She sang about her life, and had she gone to “Rehab” sooner she may well be alive today
