She gave me a hug at her London concert once. Greatest moment of my life. I complimented her ability to sing outside of time and she hugged me and told me it was the best compliment she'd ever received.

And then, everything ends and she leaves the stage, says goodbye to the audience, and receives an ovation. Amy died and the music industry is not the same anymore without her. It feels like a hole no one can fill for me anymore. I wish she was here. It pains that I have nothing new from her anymore. I want new music from her so desperately but just like any other tragic star that died soon I have to get used to her absence.

She was so smooth with a charming act just being herself. Such a shame to lose exceptional talent that is missed by all who got to experience her sound and performance. Makes my cry knowing how great Amy really was!
It hurts me when I see her this way. After seeing the movie Amy that came out not too long ago, I can tell when she was on and off her addictions and how much it affects her performances. Even though it may not seem like it at times, it's hard to watch when you know she's heavily intoxicated or high. :(
she looks high as a kite. I don't know why so many people can't or don't wanna see it. her voice is dope but she looks and acts like a zombie. nothing great about that.
+Ochoaj300 I saw these things even before the docu came out coz i am a drug and alcohol addict myself.. She was the same age i am and i have been a fan of her since her first album, coz i am dutch and she was quite the thing here when frank came out. also later, she sang about things that were going on in my own life so her songs were really soothing sometimes, knowing there is someone else out there that is experiencing the same thing u are going through. i remember exactly where i was when i heared she died, and honestly it made me rethink my own life and i have been doing a lot less drugs and alcohol in specific since then.. I listen to her when i feel bad or down or w/e, and it keeps me from doing too much drugs or drinking too much and in that way she kinda saves me. day after day..
It's cause the pain she was feeling for Blake, then the lyrics in her songs, it was a lot to deal with emotionally. It's so sad and painful to feel so strongly for a person who didn't even deserve someone great like her. I know some of the pain she was going through. I know the struggles of addiction as well. It's no joke. Some days you wake up so depressed and you can't even explain why. Then it's hard to quit. Like the more you tell yourself you're going to quit the harder it gets. It creates the obsession, which only leads you to engage even more into the addictive behaviors.

Amy was one of a kind. No matter how many people try to sing her songs they never can sing her songs the way she did. Her alcoholism and drug abuse cost such a talented woman her life😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
a beautiful performance. unbearably sad to see her so gone though.
Талант, никогда не возможно пропить!!!@ Прекрасная певица!!! Жаль, что так рано ушла из жизни. Помним и любим. Легенда!!!!!
Just a young girl in a business that she really wasn't ready to take on and media that is so cruel such talent ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such a talent. She was so sad inside that’s how she could write such sad songs. She had signs that her parents ignored. She deserved a better life.
shes singin like it was nothin. what a beautiful voice and immense talent
Yes bro. From Belarus
@Martha belle What? That wasn't Amy's problem. Maybe inform yourself better. 👍
Parabéns
@@dundeedolphin That absolutely was Amy's problem.

Soul
... and the current century, BTW.
This video makes me so sad and happy I just want to hug her 😢
@@lagilbert67 shut the fuck up
Watching in 2021. She’s out of this world as far as her talent. It’s clear tho that this beauty needed help. Such a shame that she didn’t make it out of the throes. RIP Amy ❤️
I told the same in my commentary..thats the way...
10 years gone today. a true musician, remembered for her art as an eternal inspiration. thank you, and rest easy

almost 10 years now since we lost her, still can’t really believe she’s gone, she’s so alive on stage how could this soul just be gone
because she was alcoholic, junkie and had emotional issues
It was the drugs, that's how.
I believe the writer meant it in a heavenly way, not the cause of death people, smh
@@michaelaaron1769 I believe the other writers are more in tuned with reality
@@letswalkinthewoods1462 lol okay.....
4:10 This part the first time I heard it gave me goose bumps, and until now that I keep listening to it it continues to cause me an indescribable sensation. in that part you realize that Amy was unique with her voice, she was a very talented woman. her bad family, her bad decisions, led to her death. now she's resting in peace queen of jazz
Моя королева 👑
!!!
Amy died and the music industry is not the same anymore without her. It feels like a hole no one can fill for me anymore. I wish she was here. It pains that I have nothing new from her anymore. I want new music from her so desperately but just like any other tragic star that died soon I have to get used to her absence.
What a talent and what a loss. She just touched the surface of what would have been a long and fabulous career.
Anyone 2021?
Of course !!

She treats her vocal chords like an instrument. Such a loss.
For singers, our voices ARE our instruments actually so you are correct sir ;) she was amazing! I miss her.

The brightest candle always burns for the shortest time. And she was so bright! RIP Amy W.

@@jibbajabba4712 No disrespect intended! She was a very talented, but flawed, human being. Addiction is a cruel mistress. Shame she didn't have that strong, caring person in her life.

Великая!!!! Мы тебя помним!!! В наших сердцах НАВСЕГДА!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Such a loss to music...I honestly believe if she survived her demons longer we would be talking about the greatest female vocalist of all time.A genuine unique talent
She was so smooth with a charming act just being herself. Such a shame to lose exceptional talent that is missed by all who got to experience her sound and performance. Makes my cry knowing how great Amy really was!
A reminder what a talent lost to this world!!! Amy Winehouse!! so sad!!
I keep saying it! but what a sad loss of a wonderful talent!!!
+francine wilson She was awesome. Addicted, yes. An incredible talent , yes. If she made it to heaven, we're in for a treat.
It hurts me when I see her this way. After seeing the movie Amy that came out not too long ago, I can tell when she was on and off her addictions and how much it affects her performances.
Even though it may not seem like it at times, it's hard to watch when you know she's heavily intoxicated or high. :(
Artists.
she looks high as a kite. I don't know why so many people can't or don't wanna see it. her voice is dope but she looks and acts like a zombie. nothing great about that.
I agree. It's so sad and such a tragic loss of talent and life.
