I've always been frustrated with Korea for seemingly picking only sluggers for their national team. Their focus has been on choosing players that are big and can hit well rather than well-rounded players who are adept defensively as well. This has been the case for the past few WBC's, and I wonder if this is just how most of the players are in the KBO or if whoever selects the roster only thinks sluggers are important. This game showed that such a strategy can backfire, as a star pitcher like Otani can completely shutdown their offense while 2 different 3rd basemen for Korea committed errors (in my opinion, box score says otherwise) at 0:07 and 2:46 which lead to runs being scored. You don't see Korean players making defensive plays like at 2:20. I guess ultimately the strategy worked out in the semi-final win over Japan due to poor pitching in the 9th inning, but we'll see if it's good enough to beat USA in the finals who already beat them in the group stage.
