maybe India should buy the new Fujian multi mission (CATOBAR) aircraft carrier from China . . . clearly it's a well researched, better designed & better built carrier . . . India's private sector equity sharing can make such acquisitions possible . . . in order to fulfill Indian Navy's requirements few mods might be necessary in the Fujian, but that's for later . . . ofcourse the Chinese radar & weapon systems will be replaced with indigenous Indian ones . . .

Taiwan is a more relevant example in this case. And Chinese stats are very unrealiable, because when they do poorly on them, they just change the definitions.
Under Covid for example, China's stats stopped at about 60k infected because not only did you have to test positive, not only did you need a symptom, but you needed to have ALL the symtoms along with tested positive for them to count you as infected.
Compare China to Taiwan and see what happens in a communist nation vs free nation.
