Can this same method be done with an image we draw instead of text ?
Absolutely! Just make sure all your lines close and there aren’t any spaces where they’re not connected.
why is the alpha lock applying to color brushes but not to pattern brushes? why did the pattern brush color outside the line?
The alpha lock is only for the layer it’s applied to. The patterns were on a new layer that didn’t have alpha lock turned on. Hope that helps!
