    I didn't include the price in the video in case it changes, I will just update it here. The grill is $379.99 and code LAURAESPATH gets you 10% off that.

    Love your channel. I began "ketovore" this week with more emphasis on the carnivore side. I have other members of my family that I cook for, so going strict carnivore won't work for me right now. Probably taking in 5-10 total carbs daily, which is an incredible improvement over my keto way of eating. You're an inspiration to many, Laura. Thank you.

    My girlfriend bought one, we tried it twice once with steak and again with salmon, and returned it. The temperature, as the unit reports while it's running, fluctuated 150˚ all the time it was on. The timer is a countdown timer to turn off the unit -- not a cooking timer. And of course it smokes with fatty meat within an inch of the heating coils. You must use it under a kitchen hood that vents to the exterior. I get better results from a gas grill and much better results with an infrared searing station on my grill.

    Living in Siberia (Edmonton, Canada) makes it tough to grill in the winter months, which basically means no smoky, delicious meat from November to March. Thanks for giving a demo of the grill. We have options!

    I bought one and tested it promptly as I was not able to get a definitive review from all sources.
    I can confirm that the Gemelli does smoke even with filling tray with water. It also does not hold its temperature. Size not an issue. Tried with ribeye, seafood and asparagus. Temp fluctuated big time.
    It’s beautifully made with high quality material but I can’t help feeling the technology is simply not there. Meat is not browned on the sides since it’s a broiler. I frankly feel there are other better options that does a lot more for the money.

    If you have to rotate everything 180 degrees to get both food items under the heating element, they should have put a handle lifting hole on both ends of the metal tray. I guess you’ll just have to move the meat with tongs instead?

    I bought this grill on your recommendation and I am having TONS of problems finding any spot on the grill (even dead center on all sides) where one part of my steak still does not fully cook. Do you have any advice about this? It looks like not only to the coils not extend to the sides or ends, but that there is actually a space in the middle that also does not heat!

    • @LauraSpath
      @LauraSpath  2 роки тому +3

      I would use a meat thermometer to ensure it comes out perfectly. Rare would be around 120-125* internal temp. I cook everything in this grill on the highest temp setting and then adjust the rack.

Since I have the air fryer I use it for about every type of meat and works great! Also new to your channel and am very encouraged and seeing how well you've done and your mom too. Here’s how this soft-hearted animal lover looks at it: Animals raised for harvest are tended to daily with food, water, shelter, vet care. They are essentially pampered compared to what they would face in the wild. Then, when the time comes, they have their one “bad” day if you want to call it that. We humans really do need meat to thrive in an optimal manner. Hope this helps!
