Thank you for watching my video! Subscribe to my channel to keep up with Notary knowledge. As a Notary Public, I can notarize ANY signature on ANY document. Fun fact: A Notary Public notarizes signatures not documents. Visit my website, SuperiorSignatureNotaryService.com, to learn more and reach out to me when you're ready to have your signature notarized and your documents finalized.
It is actually much more than that. Notaries Public certify the proper execution of many types of documents and establish that the signer understands the document they're signing and that they're a willing participant in the transaction. A Notary Public must meet education and testing requirements through a state-approved training authority. They are a state-appointed official, commissioned by the Secretary of State and serve as a deterrent against forgery and fraud. A person who owns a Notary business is paid to put her professional training and knowledge to work for the good of her fellow citizens and is trusted in her community.
I appreciate this well explained video. Becoming a notary wasn’t on my radar until I was suggested it. After some research I want to pursue this career even more!
Is it the notary’s job to confirm the contents of the document that the signer is signing? So if they brought in fraudulent paperwork is it up to the notary to catch on to that or is that solely on the signer?
As a mobile Notary Public I charge $5 per notarization, and my travel fees vary and start at $35. My fees for a remote notarization vary depending on the document/s. Please check my website for Services and Fees and give me a call. SuperiorSignatureNotaryService.com

Thanks Steward for the information. Can a notary public deal with affidavits? I need to harmonize my legal documents by taking an affidavit.

How do they get the seal if it’s done virtually??
Great question! I affix my electronic notary seal by using a remote online notary platform specially designed to conduct RONs.
