In game they are called Time Shades while I call them Time Shards. I believe that this is mistranslated but I should have mentioned this in the essay.

I got 30 minutes in before I realized I needed to buy the game while it's still on sale.
This is an insane first video.

This game has been on my wishlist for a while. I tend to avoid buying games while they're still in Early Access, but your breakdown of the game's mechanics definitely make me excited for when it finally comes out of it :)

@@lunaticgaming7967 I've played a LOT of deckbuilders including those and this was a real breath of fresh air while still hitting some of that classic deck building appeal. It's a much harder game to infinite loop/totally break though
There goes 4 hours of my life... Totally worth it, like each Chrono Ark run.
The video was fantastic dude (and made me realize that between updates I have missed the story part that was after Program Master, I will have to check the archives again). I am waiting for the release of the game to have an excuse to recommend it to other people.

Amazing video- I feel mostly the same, and was blown away by this game’s mechanics and storytelling after playing it, and really felt like it deserved more traction and love. I’m now shilling it to every friend who will listen lol.
I found this through cohost. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This game NEEDS a truly comprehensive appreciation and you have finally provided that. However many views you get, you’ve done something very important and you’ve done it well. It means a lot to me as a fan of this game.
I actually liked the tropey generic intro because the game subverts your expectations hours later. Elaborating would be a spoiler though. I absolutely love everything about this game, More people should play it.
You should look at the cut content from Chrono Ark. It's so interesting especially the fact old Azar was an entirely completely unhinged character and a prequel of chrono ark called Chrono Ark fate.
hello! how would someone be able to access the old story before it was reworked? I see unhinged azar screenshots a ton LOL but I haven't found anything in my searching

YES! I agree on your take on Phoenix. I was sad to see that Phoenix was not shown at the (a) credit screen after beating the Program master as a main character (I think it only included Lucy, Clyne and Azar in one group, which made me ask myself whether Phoenix deserves to be mentioned in this group of important characters).
Hearing about your analysis on the forgotten king fight,i got reminded of that time i play on expert plus mod with him,oh god it was an hard but for some reason feel balanced and epic fight,not only does he stun ALL your investigators upon entering phase 2,he FORCED you to kill one of your teamate on phase 3 as well,and yet for some reason i still feel balanced
P/s: since you also do talk about harder gamemode in this video,expert plus mod got chu covered
If someone is willing to make an almost 4 hour video on a deckbuilder I have never heard of, you already got my attention. I'm 1 hour into the video and I need to stop because I want to discover the rest for myself! I'll try not to forget to watch the other 3 hours later after I've finished a good portion of the game :)
Also, for anyone else who is addicted to deckbuilders and doesn't mind analog games, I highly recommend Arkham Horror: The Card Game. It's a mix of deckbuilder and RPG. You play through a campaign which consists of (mostly) 8 scenarios and after every scenario you get xp which you can buy more powerful cards with. This is awesome because it allows for game breaking cards since you're limited by the total xp you earned. It's a game I've been absolutely obsessed with for years now and new content is still being made for it (including fanmade campaigns).
This was a great video and for someone who said they can't video essay you sure videoed this essay and I've been loving this game even 30+ hours in thank you for the video.
Great video. One thing about Sizz is that the operator with Eve get 10% attack buff, no matter whether their attack trigger the Eve attack. 10% attack is roughly equivalent to a white or green equipment. The strength is there, but I believe there is a better way to design Eve other than boring flat attack buff.
Looking forward to your thoughts on the other ending.

I remember seeing something (by Noodle I think) about dynamic music, IIRC yooka laylee or something had it way back? (IDK I had never played the game in question)
