Thanks for inviting me for the interview Pierrick...I really enjoyed our chat and looking forward to chatting more in the near future. Also I'm loving the editing style of the interview, very entertaining.
I’m sure we will 😊. It was a great interview and as real pleasure to discuss with you. See you soon!
i really like your statement about AI.
This was really great, thanks to you all
It's always been my dream to be an animator, recently been actually studying Animation for the last 3-4 years! Determined to make it my job one of these days so the information helps! Nice interview!
Thank you for this great interview,it was wholesome and very educational
I'm 30 years old and just started my animation journey and I agree with passion being the backbone of it,if you love what you do you lose sense of time and work tirelessly for hours upon hours and have fun while doing it ❤️
I really appreciate this interview as it turned into talking about running a company. Cheers
so excited to listen to this later! There is so much to learn about gameplay animation and not enough resources
Really informative. I like the new interview video format. Keep at it!

Question is your blender animation course still compatible with the latest version of blender? Because I'm planning to get it but I don't want to waste 80 dollars on a course and models I can't use.
Yes it is, there are few minor cahnges in the UI but the course is still good.
Also, I updated all the course files today for Blender 4.x
great talk, lots of interesting thoughts
Hey pierrick, in chapter 4 of the Alive animation course you teach us about space switching. I'm trying to bake action using the damped track constraint of the mech but whenever i generate my keyframes after baking, they are generated in linear interpolation mode between them by default and a weird zig zag curve is created in the graph editor, changing Interpolation to bezier also doesn't work each frame has two handles . It is extremely tedious to manually clean the keyframes every time, in your tutorial videos the interpolation by default between keyframes whenever you bake an animation seems to be bezier. Is there a way to fix this? Im using blender 3.5
I was not able to find what caused the problem, but I was able to fix this by updating from blender 3.5 to 3.6. If anyone else is having this problem, updating blender might fix it.
500 hours in most played game?! Rookie numbers!!!
Very good interview
Already too much time spent for me 😅
@@PierrickPicaut_P2DESIGN same for me, i have played overwatch for 2k+ hours and if I did more 3d i would be skilled at animation by now!
