Hahaha thanks to your comment i realised this video is 2 hours long. I will pause and comeback to it! Thanks for sharing! You saved me from being REALLY late. Haha
im so late to the party but i recently bought the hot wheels version of this and i loved it so much. i learned that this car was built and won the legends tour (WELL DESERVED) and here i am falling for it even harder! i love it i love the process I love your work!
You can actually get in contact with them to make personal hotwheels specifically for you, met some dude with a nice ass honda and kept seeing him around and talked to him one day he gave me one of his hotwheels that was identical to his car it was dope. I'm not even sure what kind it was, but it was all white with green accents and had collector plates.
Thank you for watching! I'd also like to announce that I've just started a Patreon for anybody that wants to help support the builds. Feel free to check it out here: www.patreon.com/TofuAutoWorks Since UA-cam decided to start sharing this video out of nowhere, a lot of you will be new to the channel and my builds so I thought I'd do a quick rundown on the build. This is my Cyberpunk dystopian themed Mx5 build. The purpose of this build is effectively to build a 1:1 scale model kit or something that looks like it could be a movie prop from a cyberpunk film like Bladerunner or Ghost in the Shell. With this build I wanted to focus solely on the visuals and style of the vehicle, rather than worry about performance or road usability. This car will never be road legal here in New Zealand and so it gives me freedom to do a lot of things you normally wouldn't be allowed to do with road going vehicles. I wasn't able to include them in this video, but on all other videos on my channel I include subtitles in multiple languages that you can turn on by clicking the CC button. If you're wondering what's going on or what material I'm using at some point in the video, check the chapter for the episode number, and then check out that episode for more information. I build a variety of different vehicles (Including ones that can drive on the road) and will be including more of these on my channel but this car will be something that I regularly come back to over time to break up my other builds. Thanks again for checking out this video.
Yup, this vid got recommended out of nowhere, glad it did tho! Appreciate how thorough you are with the subtitles and thanks again for no music, these are the perfect vids for a lazy Sunday :)
Musicless builds offer a unique experience that allows us to focus solely on the craftsmanship and creativity involved. It's refreshing to witness the raw build process without any distractions. The attention to detail and the Cyberpunk Miata Fastback transformation in this video is absolutely mind-blowing. Keep up the amazing work and continue to deliver more captivating content like this! 🔧🚗👌
Amazing project, it's incredible the amount of detail and patience to do things right. Car looks amazing man congrats on the project, hard work really paid off
The care and feeding that went into this project is remarkable! I don't know why youtube suggested this to me, but I couldn't be happier that they did!!
Please dear God never take this video down. I want to get into customizing a car myself and this video is an absolute eye opener on what steps to take and how to do it. This entire video had me focusing with my jaw dropped to the floor. An absolutely spectacular build, absolutely going to watch your other uploads
There's something about watching the process that inspires on so many levels. It's all a matter of time and attention to detail to get the desired result.
As a vehicle refinisher. I can do nothing but clap in awe sir, the amount of filling sanding and flatting, such a mundane job in my eyes. Job well done dude u should be proud of your achievement 😎
So much respect to this young man he is doing the process in the ways of old hand built !! Some modern aides but this is true craftsmanship pay attention boys and girls this is what it means to have a complete project when u set off to the meet or rally something to be proud of !! Great job man honestly !
I like the understatement of the headlights. All touches are well appointed. The license plate area is slightly lost on me but, 95% of the rest of the creation is CAF! I hope the motion picture industry discovers you soon, Tofu
Man this is a great video…..just natural sounds and love the no music for a change…..great job on the Miata my friend…from a fellow Miata owner and player of the cyberpunk video game😉👍🏻
Excellent!!!! You are an incredible craftsman. I am a builder for over 40 years and your tricks of the trade are very clever. Keep the videos coming👍👍👍
This is the most enjoyable 2 hours and 19 second on UA-cam. I watched this with the rain in the back ground. It was refeshing to watch this in a span of 48 hours. The only pleasure to watch. Music Grieg (arr. Naughtin) - Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46: Morning Mood
This is absolutely incredible, the striking similarities to an RX7 really are right up my alley!!! Well well well done. Definitely one of my all time favourites!!!
I gotta say I'm impressed that you have a variety of Ryobi and Makita cordless tools, plus old corded tools too. Didn't waste money on new or expensive tools when old or inexpensive work just fine.
Such an incredible build. I was mesmerized for two + hours. Great work and very thought out. What’s process! Gave me lots to consider on my build and how I’d like to finish mine. I am looking forward to see your other content, as this was the first video of yours I’ve watched. Incredible project. Thanks for sharing your passion.
Wow...this is just fantastic. Your talent and creativity truly shine through in your work. Huge congrats and you deserve all of the accolades you receive for this work.
This is an amazing project, and I completely loved to see you build the various components by hand. The most satisfying was the carbon fiber segment of the sharkfin, but damn dude, well done!
Sigh, The more I see others making works of pure heart by using fiberglass makes me wish I had the courage to give it a try when I wanted to make my dream car when I was younger. Now that dream joined many others in the field of forgotten dreams. Nice work Sir!
Just wanna give mad props! First i dont think I have ever watched any youtube vid this long. But this I watched all the way to the end. I find your work and attention to detail top notch!!! Im just at awe. I learned so much from watching you do this its crazy. Keep up the amazing work!!!!
This is awesome, ive always wanted to build a one of a kind car like this... use an old outback and throw a homemade shell over the top and turn it into something crazy like this. Beautiful work
What an amazing build, thank you for taking the time and I are video. It is absolutely amazing showing all the steps,we appreciate videos like that, keep up with the amazing work, and please share with us more

First when I stumbled over one of your Videos I thought "WTF are you messing the Miata!!!" --- but after all what I´ve seen now it's more a work of Art and dedication.... keep on going ! :-)
Have to say I’m ecstatic YT recommended this vid! I’m looking to do a CP2077 Quadra Type-66 build and this has definitely given me quite a few ideas. Totally awesome! Thumbs up!
Your workshop is dope and I love doing this type of stuff. I want to find a way to do this for a living and I'm glad I found your Channel to have someone else to learn from.
If u watched this and didnt give this video a thumbs up for his skills at least, ur cold. This guy is one hell of a body fabricator. If I could afford it I would hire him to do custom cars for me for sure.
Recently discovered this channel/build, amazing work mate, the design and the execution/craftmanship is next level! You have the patience of a saint, if i recorded myself working on a car it would be 2 hours of talking to myself and swearing profusely, no ASMR unless listening to an englishman swearing is your thing :)
When you added the ducktail I thought oh no you turned an mx5 into a Porsche D: But no this is a totally awesome build never seen anything like it. Top skills.
За формовку деталей из этой "пены" или что там оно такое, моё почтение. Нужно иметь железные нервы и уверенность в результате чтобы таким заниматься! Очень круто!
We need more musicless builds. So much better than copyright free music. Just raw build
Exactly what I was thinking I hate builds with crappy music over them
Exactly, If someone wanted music they could open up another tab and play anything they want.
me proceeding to put it in 2x speed with background music
the usual copyright free music sounds like kids music projects they do in school 😂 agree with u
Agree
This was the best 2 1/2 hours I’ve spent in a long time!!
What awesome custom work!
Cheers mate!
@@emilezoulette882 lmao I saw your channel!
You shouldn’t say anything about sucking BIG TIME
Save it for your boyfriend.

@@celuiquipeut6527 yea I had to come back to after I saw how long it was.
But it was worth it. The amount of work he put into this project was amazing
@@TofuAutoWorks You did a maniacal and amazing job... congratulations, the car is crazy cool!!
Massively impressed, not just the fibre glassing and painting skills, but the artistic concept itself makes this a unique and fantastic build.
im so late to the party but i recently bought the hot wheels version of this and i loved it so much. i learned that this car was built and won the legends tour (WELL DESERVED) and here i am falling for it even harder! i love it i love the process I love your work!
yoooo same man, after i watched this video i never regretted buying it as a christmas gift to myself
Hotwheels should make a miniature of this Work of Art 😎
Totally! Is there a recommendation page with Mattel?

Serious skills you possess. I'm in awe of your skill set. I love the attention to detail and the persuit of perfection. Well done.
It needs a front scoop like on rally cars at the front of the roof and sorry but looks alot better without the fin
the rear view cam IN the sharkfin was a beautiful touch. properly made stuff, this.
Awesome work!! Makes me want to spend my days making cyberpunk vehicle too!
