    Hey Rick great videos. I’m having a problem where my 04TTR225 won’t start but gets good spark and we have a brand new carburetor put on it and we change the oil to 1040 synthetic. After trying to start it for a minute it seems like the starter just free wheels. In the video where you change the stater that starter gear fell out but you didn’t show how you put it back in. Does it have to go in a certain way there’s like a little mark on that little starter gear I don’t know if it Hass to be set for timing for that starter gear or not… thanks

    @trbfshmn The stator is the same part number as the XT225 which is the enduro version of this bike with all the signals and lights.

    Have those concrete blocks on the way to the bridge been rearranged yet? I'm sure the bike won't have any problems with them though. Oh, Btw, why work in the dark using the infra red?

    Hey Rick, when you're adjusting valves, do you tighten the tappets really snug on the feeler gauge, or just tight enough that you can still slide it around?

  • @jdeaton17
    @jdeaton17 13 років тому

    i wish my bike was that easy u have to take the whole head off to do the valves basically.. lol

  • @jerryhowell9
    @jerryhowell9 13 років тому

    @RedneckRickem rick if you get another bike i would suggest a nice liquid cooled 2 stroke, much easier to work on and hell of a lot faster
