Three things I learned today: 1. Don't ever watch Mike when you're really hungry. 2. Don't ever watch Mike when you're really full (just finished a huge lunch and then this video popped up in my feed. My stomach screamed in terror when that bowl of udon appeared) 3. Mike always wanted to eat noodles out of a bathtub. I'm genuinely more shocked that he *hasn't* eaten noodles out of a bathtub. Cheers!

@@mmagesh7513 What? That's the same thing and doesn't make sense. He said it's a food challenge and if completed, is ¥1000 (which is $9.37). And the normal price is about 4x the discounted price (4 * ¥1000). That would mean it's about $37.40, but Mike calculated it to be $25. So either his 4x factor is incorrect or his multiplication is incorrect. I think it's most likely that he thought ¥1000 was worth less in USD than it actually is and just rounded a little lower on his multiplication.
Looks like lots of noodles with little ingredients tho.

The mountain of stuff Mikey is eating with the katsu is actually shredded cabbage, not lettuce. Cabbage is what they usually eat with anything oily/deep fried in Japan.

I love Nagoya food because of the strong flavours. Yama chan still serves my fave type of chicken wings, but I prefer Atsuta’s unagi rice. I would even make a short day trip to Nagoya, alone, just to get my fix whenever I am in Japan.

Crunchy yet juicy on the inside and not greasy means they were fried at the PROPER frying temperature. When fried food is greasy that means they were fried at too LOW of a temperature. Temperature of the oil is very important..&& those wings look amazing.
