Howdy everyone, and thanks for all the comments and name suggestions. I am going to compile all of the name suggestions, and then let Mackenzie pick the winning name! Thanks for watching!
Mike a thank you doing a wonderful job most of my farm is ran off of what you've taught me And see into your looking for a name how about Cindy Lou who from the doctor Seuss book Horton hears a who
Anyone that thinks ranchers and other livestock farmers do not care for their animals needs to watch this video. Mike spent all day working on this one cow to save her life. Great job Mike!
I think Arrowquip needs to send the Ranch a Calving Pen!!! I hope they send one to you guys. It would be a great tool. Good luck Calving IF WE GET 100 👍MAYBE ARROWQUIP WILL SEND ONE TO THE RANCH!!!
Nice job done Mike and it always a good positive day when we achieve something like this even if we thought the risk is high for the calf not making it . Name her may be Midget . Like your video .
She's got this... I watched this I was trying to get my mind off of Jimmy Houston. His wife just had a stroke. If anyone could spare some prayer for her and His family. Please Gods in the miracle business we need one now. That girl is strong she's going to be fine.
🤗🤗. So glad before ending my day watching this little miracle and the kids loving all over her. Am sorry but forgot this was 30/30. Happens when mind too tired. Even forgot hubbys name and called him all the pets names instead. Wish I could give more 👍👍👍👍👍 cus this was so exciting since it’s Easter. There’s always hope for life on your ranch. Y’all put so much heart into all you do and are teaching the kids to do the same. Thanks again now I can go to sleep and dream happy thoughts about this April gift. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Mike, I grew up on a ranch in the sandhills of Nebraska. I noticed the calf when you first saw it, and then again in the warmer, kept arching its head up. We were informed by the vet that was a tell-tale sign of vitamin A deficiency. We always carried some vitamin A and injected it. That seemed to quickly (within 20 minutes or so) fix that issue and the calf became much more responsive. Just wanted to mention it in case you were not aware--not trying to tell you what to do! You are there and see so much more than we do. Hope you have a great calving season!!!
Strange how USA cows speak the same language as our Welsh cows, but they did emigrate from UK. Good job on resuscitation. I would of tried her back with mother or got her in. 👍🏴
Good Morning from Daly City, California at 7am Holy Saturday. 🙏🏻😇👆❤️👍🐮🐄. You’re all great in taking care of the calf. May God Bless you all! Wishing more rain 🌧 ☔️ 🌧 🌧 this month in North East Wyoming. Taylor would be nice to name the calf as you took great care of her, tailored to her needs.
I think Lincoln named this beautiful calf right away!!! "PEANUT"!!!! I love watching your videos. Never stop. God bless you richly for all your hard work and care of His creatures.
That is what I enjoy about your channel. You and Erin and the children do everything humanly possible for your cattle. You all work extremely hard and still manage to do this channel and share your ups and downs with all of us. You and Erin are raising your children to be strong, intuitive and be problem solvers.
Best video you have ever made. You saved that sweet girl. Congratulations on such a great win! When Queen Elizabeth was a little girl, they called her Lillibet. Kind of "little Elizabeth." I think its perfect for your little princess.
Your daughters suggestion was perfect, Peanut. The calf is so little like a peanut. I watch you guys all the time, every day. I also live in Wyoming. Riverton Wyoming. Maybe I can make to Gillette and purchase some steaks at the store. Love all your wife does!
Back when I lived on farm if had a calf like this one.We would bring it into the house and use a hair dryer on it.It is nice to see they have come up with something better
Strong work Mike! Definitely a huge win! Nice to have a calm mom for the most part! Here's hoping the gator returns Stat! "Twinkle" she had a Twinkle in her eye!
We had just about the same issue with our calf last week. I say Buttercup would be a great name. The Sage Buttercup is one of Wyoming's first flowers in the Spring.
hi mike great effort there in saving that calf,, good to see mom and calf reunited,,, i farm myself seen them situations many a time,,,id call ur hfr calf lucky,,,keep er country from ireland,,
What a sweet little calf. I love how she was talking (mooing) to Mike. I’m thrilled that she is doing well. I felt sick to my stomach when I first saw her lying there. Mike you did a great job. I think April would be a good name
My wife and I love the channel and we thought that Lilly might be good, as Easter Lillies are a favorite April flower that fights through the end of winter weather...
I saw the calf in the field and I think my first thought was in line with what you bleeped. Glad you could save her, and I look forward to learning her name. :)
Last year had a preme calf during a nasty cold/snowy stretch, ended up putting the calf in the hot box a couple times throughout the day and taking it back to her mama periodically to eat and such. Really a pain in the butt, but the calf made it. Always a great sign to see the calf being energetic and wanting to move, kind makes it easier working with the calf in a sense. That's exactly what I hope the cows turn into as they get up in years; they figure out what's going on and just go with it.
Topic suggestion: UTV vs old farm truck. You have a gator but some UTVs are way expensive and seem to have less capability compared to a ranger or half ton truck.
"April" seems to be a good solid name for a calf to grow up into. Dignified and appropriate for a future working mama cow. Her name may remind you of her birth start, but not define it [there are MANY more April calves to come, hehehe. Nice save. Hope the Gator gets back in service soon!
Aww!! How about "April" ? April born in the month of April !! Or "Poppy" God Bless That Calf.. Great Work Mr. Mike. Love and Best Wishes from an Indian (based in New York) Love your UA-cam channel.. Great work!
Howdy everyone, and thanks for all the comments and name suggestions. I am going to compile all of the name suggestions, and then let Mackenzie pick the winning name! Thanks for watching!

Patty (as in cow patties that the little munchkin dropped right when McKenzie said she wanted to name her).
I personally feel like April is a fitting name.
Agree!
I agree
Up you go.
Good suggestion Briant.
Could be good or bad. Just heard that April the Giraffe got euthanized today, so that name might have some "baggage"
Good luck Calving
IF WE GET 100 👍MAYBE ARROWQUIP WILL SEND ONE TO THE RANCH!!!
Agree! Anything to help with these babies.
Oh my heart... y'all should name her Gracie, as she was saved by Grace and Compassion
Congratulations on a life saved!
Thank You Tina
Mike, you have such a calm and gentle presence when it comes to critical events happening on the ranch. You are a beast my man.

Nice job done Mike and it always a good positive day when we achieve something like this even if we thought the risk is high for the calf not making it . Name her may be Midget . Like your video .

How precious, since it is so early in April, she should have the name of April. So cute, good job. Mike and kids
What a precious baby.
That she is Kim!
One of the children called her Peanut .....So cute !
Nice job with the calf. Your intervention made the difference in this little ones life. You should feel especially proud today..
Thanks R. Tom Swezey. I admit it does make me feel pretty good!
🤗🤗. So glad before ending my day watching this little miracle and the kids loving all over her. Am sorry but forgot this was 30/30. Happens when mind too tired. The calf's name should be Miracle for life and the Easter Season, good job Mr. Rancher!
My first thought for a name for the new calf is April, I see it has already been suggested 🙂
Amanda, April seems to be the leading suggestion.
I agree I like April to
Your Compassion to the animals in need is positively heart warming

I think Spring is a good name
What a great job you did for that baby.
Friday is a good name it is Good Friday
April. That’s a good name.
Keeping a premature calf alive is always a good feeling :-) Great job Mike!
I agree with ya Timothy. It sure is
At the first look at the calf I thought you were going to call it Dead ! Good save we hope !
Me too but as I got closer I saw the movement.
Blessing for the name.
You might be over the other side of the world, but cow and calf issues are universal. Hi from Ireland 🇮🇪
Strange how USA cows speak the same language as our Welsh cows, but they did emigrate from UK. Good job on resuscitation. I would of tried her back with mother or got her in. 👍🏴
The premie should be called Twinkle. Great job, Mike.
Thanks, appreciate that, and for the suggestion.

My
I like to call her Tulip. She is a sweetie.
Thanks for the suggestion Lorrie
Good Morning from Daly City, California at 7am Holy Saturday. 🙏🏻😇👆❤️👍🐮🐄. You’re all great in taking care of the calf. May God Bless you all! Wishing more rain 🌧 ☔️ 🌧 🌧 this month in North East Wyoming. Taylor would be nice to name the calf as you took great care of her, tailored to her needs.
Charm! Because she is a real Charm to behold! Wow, your kids are getting big! They are growing up!
Hot dog! Maybe I should say. " Holy Cow" I've been watching for a year. Always enjoy.
Thanks for watching Nancy
Great job Mike. A good name would be Hope. That's what you gave her. Happy Easter and God Bless you and your family.
GREAT JOB MIKE. KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB YOU DO. And keep spreading the message of GREAT framers and ranchers like yourself. Thanks
I think Lincoln named this beautiful calf right away!!! "PEANUT"!!!! I love watching your videos. Never stop. God bless you richly for all your hard work and care of His creatures.
I am glad the caf was strong an off to be reunited with Mom. Congrats on a win for the ranch. Lucky you saw her when you did.
Cali is a cool name for the calf
Cutest. Thing. Ever ❤️
That is what I enjoy about your channel. You and Erin and the children do everything humanly possible for your cattle. You all work extremely hard and still manage to do this channel and share your ups and downs with all of us. You and Erin are raising your children to be strong, intuitive and be problem solvers.
Mike, you are a wonderful person.. I love the name Emmaline for this beautiful girl!
I am glad she made it okay. Good job taking care of her. What a joy. How about Joy as a name or Sunshine.
Thanks Rhonda.
Precious .
She is surely a fighter!
Yes she is Jan!
I can see why this is the best choice for you and your family. What precious time you have with your children
You are so kind, thank you
Best video you have ever made. You saved that sweet girl. Congratulations on such a great win! When Queen Elizabeth was a little girl, they called her Lillibet. Kind of "little Elizabeth." I think its perfect for your little princess.
I think April may would be a good name for the calf
Great work with calf and mom. Feel good outcome.🙂🙂
Thanks Ruth, Only time will tell now. Have a good feeling as of now
This is why we love your videos Mike
Your daughters suggestion was perfect, Peanut. The calf is so little like a peanut. I watch you guys all the time, every day. I also live in Wyoming. Riverton Wyoming. Maybe I can make to Gillette and purchase some steaks at the store. Love all your wife does!
That is awesome! Thank you so much
The weather sure is different than last year. Keep up the good work
It sure is different Brian!
My wife and I were watching when your phone rang. We live in Madera County, CA!!
I wonder what this does for the moms future on the ranch. She had a light premature calf but was calm and easy to work and could still be a good mom.
The size of her udder made me think she was an older cow. If the calf makes it, they both might get to stay.
You are correct Sasheena!
Man, such a great job! It’s amazing what you know, but most of all how you care for not just the profit but the well-being of the animal.
You got that right she did have a twinkle in her eye thanks for the suggestion Carrie
4Wheel. She was the first to be brought in on a 4 wheeler in a while.
Good job Mike. You have come along way 🐄 Cowboy.
I love to see how you talk to your animals and are so gentle. That calf is stinking cute. The kids just love her. I can’t wait to find out her name. ❤
April is a fitting name as has been mentioned.
Joyce is a good name the calf really appreciate it what you did to keep her alive i was waiting for this 30 of 30 thanks I'm always watching 👀 😊
Thank you for watching Menno, and Thanks for the suggestion
So many good names presented by subscribers.
Good save on the calf. Hopefully she stays well. I like the ball cap, Mike. I have one just like it. 😉
Thanks 👍 Glad you like the cap George
We had just about the same issue with our calf last week. I say Buttercup would be a great name. The Sage Buttercup is one of Wyoming's first flowers in the Spring.

She said Baby Girl, I think that is a suitable name.

This was special the way you took care of the baby.
Name her Esther. Because she was born on this Easter weekend . God bless ya'll
Fair play, you've done a great job helping That calf to survive. 👍👍💯
Great job...perseverance paid off big time. 👍❤️
Should be April. Nice girl. God Bless.
My wife and I love the channel and we thought that Lilly might be good, as Easter Lillies are a favorite April flower that fights through the end of winter weather...
I saw the calf in the field and I think my first thought was in line with what you bleeped. Glad you could save her, and I look forward to learning her name. :)
I would have a blast being a ranch hand this time of year! The Joy's of calving and spring bringing life to everything is so great to be a part of.
Bill, its one of the best times of the year to me!
Hope you have a good year Calving and farming!
Chance is a great name
Beautiful wee calf, good job Mike
Topic suggestion: UTV vs old farm truck. You have a gator but some UTVs are way expensive and seem to have less capability compared to a ranger or half ton truck.
Hi Mike you need a calf sled or a way of strapping the calf to the back of the quad and hopefully the cow will follow!!!!
you handle all situations with grace, dignity, and humor...extremely impressive!
Thanks Jeff, appreciate that.
"April" seems to be a good solid name for a calf to grow up into. Dignified and appropriate for a future working mama cow. Her name may remind you of her birth start, but not define it [there are MANY more April calves to come, hehehe. Nice save. Hope the Gator gets back in service soon!
Dr. Mike 👍🏾

Good Evening to Our Wyoming Life and all others too.
