I have leased Honda since 2016 and i have had 2018, 2020 and now 2024 CR-V; 2017 Honda Accord too. I think Honda can do a better design with CRV but seems they have their reasons to keep it like that. In the other hand Toyota dealerships are abusing of prices and this is because of high demand of their cars. I have tried twice to get a Totota Rav 4 but with those prices forget it. As an example they offered me a 2024 RAV4 with 0 down and a 650 payment and then I went to Honda and I got my CRV EXL with 0 down and 450 payment, like I said: Totota is too expensive right now and is sad because they gonna let potential loyal customers to go for Kia, Hyundai or Nissan.
Fans really hope the next RAV4 can match CR-V's generous back seat space. Frankly, most competitors offer far superior rear seat legroom which also means they do a far better job accommodating rear-facing child seats. Let us also hope the recent boost in headroom seen in some new Toyota SUVs is carried over to the RAV4. 🤞🤞
No there is problem with this, this is what the highlander is for. Rav4 is adventure unit, not a family unit. It is meant to be this way. Recreation active Vehicle, not a family vechicle.
Honda is going through what Toyota went through about 10 or so years ago. They are boring and antiquated. You basically can pick base, middle, or upper trims. There is no variation on packaging. They are very reliable and have great trade in value and very safe but other than that they are a snooze fest. Toyota figured out you can be reliable and steadfast but also be fun and make interesting vehicles that are pleasing to the eye, more performance and fun to drive. The fact that Honda has only had a Hybrid CRV for a few years shows you how far they have fallen behind Toyota.
I like RAV4 better and it’s what I would take. But I hear they say that CRV handles better and is smooth. Not sure about that but I know Toyota these last years have done extremely and excitedly so great. I love the design and tech. I hope they improve handling performance but for now I am happy.
I am Glad toyota made the Rav4 more active that ever. I am long term Rav4 for owner, and I think this was the best Rav4 for yet. It had some flaws, but otherwise it is outstanding. I am glad you made the AWD very good, and hope you continue to improve on this. I saw a video of Rav4 driving so well in mud in Ukraine, that is what expect from Rav4. Glad it is versatile and not big like the Highlander. I think the future the Rav4 higher trims have to go more premium like the competition, or have one generation goes more premium, and another other trims like Adventure that look more truckish. You brought more men to Rav4, which is good. My Rav4 has saved me many winter in Canada, in -44celcius weather , and drives in 50 cm snow falls.
@@rayyseason RAV4 only lacks for good infotainment system and digital gauge cluster and these feature were added in 2023 model, which is the same model as 2024 literally only 8 months later they are selling it as 2024 one, and I see that it does everything better than CR-V with a lower price tag, you can do some research to know that dude.
I ended up going with the Honda CRV sport touring. Never looked back. Its such a great luxurious ride compared to the RAV4. Definitely worth the extra cost.
No more Hondas for us! Our son bought a new Honda Fit in 2016. Within about 25,000 miles, the air conditioning blower motor and the starter, yes - the starter - both failed. By this time it was out of warranty, and he was out of luck. Now my wife and I will be looking for a new car for ourselves soon - a Toyota RAV4!
One of the major differences between them is safety. The Rav4 got marginal for rear head protection in the IIHS Updated side test while the CRV got good. That could mean the difference between living and death in the event of a side impact test when someone runs red light or stop sign.
I just got hit by side impact by a vehicle running through a red light. It is painful. Every side of the vehicle must be safe. I Most vehicles including 18 wheelers should have bumper to bumper. It should be 16-32 off the ground level. I see 2 customized vehicle (trucks) recently in traffic where the bumper is at sedan head level. A side impact of such vehicle would probably be a head injury.
If toyota build a unibody truck, it should be on the Rav4 name, or Corolla name, so it doesnt take away from sales from each model. The Rav4 is the best selling non truck, and selling the unibody truck Called the Rav4 stout or corolla stout is ideal. Rav4 stout pickup sounds ideal, and will being more sales to Rav4.
The RAV4 base model just went up by $3k grand. Last week I saw the price tag of RAV4 at $29k. Now it's at $32k. The CRV base price still stay the same at $29k. What give? I was looking for a vehicle after my unfortunated accident. I like both vehicles but now the questionable rise in price tag on Toyota give me more opportunity to buy a Honda. I have 3 previous Toyota Camry since the mid 90s.
Can I get Smaller Wheels? 16" preferably, 17" Max. Smaller Wheels would mean a taller Tire. Which would give a smoother ride on ruff roads. The Tires would cost less on the Smaller Wheels as well. The Fully Digital Display and Multi Media could go. Can I get Models with Physical Dials, Switches, and knobs. The Display is a Distraction and not safe. This takes attention away form what is going on around you.Also, for Hybrids and the Plug in Hybrid. How much extra Power and MPG does it take to run the Digital displays and screen? Can I get a model with out these items. That would likely be less complicated and more reliable?

Legroom is my only complain as well. But with everything I am happy.
Also the doors should wide open to 90 degree.

Both are great SUVs. But looking at the price, technology, many variants in hybrid and plugin hybrids etc RAV4 has slight upper hand.

what are you talking about, the Prime has 300hp, and can beat old camaros and mustangs. It beat out lexus GS which is 400lbs lighter
