Very hard to part with my 2005 Camry LE 220K miles, love it!. Primary reason is the seating position is perfect, not a little sunk in as in modern cars. For 2025, I expected a brand new design, this looks like it has been heavily refreshed. That being said, I think the XLE looks good, thanks to Toyota for the Hybrid AWD option and to keep building sedans. Waiting to test drive it.
I had a 2005, 2011 and now a 2024. The 2005 was the best! Comfortable, peppy, simple, reliable, great gas mileage, long lasting. Used to get coupons from the dealer for $19.95 oil changes with a free hand wash! The 2025 is progress?
ive driven the sonata and altima, all 2015 models and I got to say the experience behind the toyota sedan is really fun and safe - the placement of components within the frame chasis and aerodynamics are like really secure. go toyota .(toyota prius v 2015 owner)
No more boring vehicles, that was a mandate. Their vehicles are definitely have become distinctive in the last couple of years. The new Grand Highlander looks good 👍. What i also respect about Toyota is their extensive use of their vehicle platforms and not depending on mainly one vehicle to carry the load like Ford.
The Toyota Camry chassis is one of the most solid sporty smooth riding platforms Toyota has ever designed. I'm glad Toyota listens to their customers. The Toyota Camry is destroying its competitors
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing 2025 camry and the crown station wagon, I'm currently enjoying my Toyota RAV4 PRIME
I WILL SAY ONE THING: If they could add (1) daytime running lights in the front bumper longitudinal like they did in some early models, and (2) At least for XSE, two sided exhaust pipe on the rear bumper. They knew it better, but they might think we don't have the taste.
Beautiful both of them ❤ last year I bought a 2022 venza hybrid love it excellent on gas thanks for your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
I thought the 2015-2017 Camry counted as the 8th generation! Also, when he said Kevin Hunter was coming up to the stage I really thought he was talking about “The Homework Guy” (Great car buying channel)
I love how when they display the crown it has saddle interior and the camry has red interior. Try to find one that doesn't have black. Even when I ordered my 2023 Prius the only interior options were black or grey. I chose grey and when it showed up it was black. After waiting six months for it, I took it anyway. I knew they could have sold it in 5 minutes.

It is stunning that the design team got paid for designing the new camry. The Front looks like it was taken from the Camry Atara. You know the one missing from the generation lineup. And the front grill on the XSE looks like a fence. I was hoping that with Toyota saying rising that the Camry would have gone to 6.5 inch ground clearance with 40 inches of headroom. Then I would have called it a win. RIP the cool looking flower petals of the 8th gen.
Love the Camry but the body lines on the side are exactly the same as the previous gen. I wouldn’t call it a redesign really cause all that’s different is the interior and the rear and front bumper. Love the look but it’s not a complete redesign
Looks Great ( still has the fish or alien mouth face front grill design, but its way better ) ( please please give us a GR model with Electric Boost power or something that is close to German power )
Look at 10:31 - the concept/sketch looks great! But on production model that "hammerhead" became more narrow. Why? Those LED DRLs could look awesome if they were located further from each other. Like on the new Prius. I see the 2025 Camry has a pair of vertical LED projectors in each headlamp while the new Prius has a single projector below the "hammerhead" thing, thus "the hammer" on the Prius is wider and looks better. Don't get me wrong the new Camry looks nice but I have some questions to Kevin Hunter...
It looks even worse from the front. I don't know why the design team didn't put the Headllights below the Hammerhead like on the prius. It just looks odd.
@@shadowhound5113 Yeah and the funniest thing is that all youtubers who got instant access to it, they kept praising it like crazy like it's a miracle. No you didn't. You can have any engine option you want, so long as it is Toyota's 5th generation Hybrid Synergy Drive (or whatever the official name is.)
One person claped because you’ve now killed Toyota, 235hp is nothing and you won’t even give the torque because it’s probably trash, taking the v6 out of the Tacoma wasn’t enough you had to kill the camery as well, bland. And the crown has just over a ton of towing that’s nothing. I just bought a 2023 4Runner trd v6 because it’s the last time a Toyota will be worth the money I had planned on buying a supera next year but just changed my mind, you broke my heart.
Toyota, thank you very very much for being brave enough to bring the Crown Signia to North America! I love the proportions of this vehicle - it's a homerun IMHO. I do however have a wish list. I don't understand your product planners at all - the Crown is meant to represent the best of Toyota, right? Well then, here's my list. 1. Lack of Hybrid Max powertrain. It's available on the other Crown, so why not this one? What a disappointment, and for me, a deal breaker. I hope you offer this later, perhaps in a Platinum trim that has the H.M. powertrain and some other missing features. 2. Lack of HUD - I realize the other Crown here in N.A. doesn't have one, but, if this is the premium nameplate for Toyota, why omit a feature that is available on the gorgeous brand new Camry? 3. Lack of Traffic Jam Assist - available on the other Crown, and now also available in the new Camry, it is missing in action here in the Signia. What is up with that? I have a disability that is greatly compensated for by a system like T.J.A. Very disappointing that it is missing here. Maybe it will become available in a future Platinum trim (or simply made an option in the Limited trim.) I sure hope there's nothing missing in the hardware that precludes easily adding this later? 4. Fourth generation hybrid system - this is according to a Toyota spokesperson quoted in a video by the "Driven" car review channel. The new Camry and the new Prius (and others?) use the newest 5th generation system. Is this an issue of total system output? I.E. the Signia is quoted at 243 hp, but the Prius and the new Camry have less. Is the 5th gen system intended for use only in your smaller, lighter vehicles by chance? 5. No mention of 360 cameras - I cannot assume it does since I assumed all of the above four items would be available and was wrong. 6. No mention of any parking aids. The other Crown has Advanced Park on the Platinum trim. Please? 7. Parking sensors? I didn't see evidence of them nor did I see them mentioned in the press release. Please? I would appreciate some feedback on these deal-breaking omissions - thank you in advance.
After reading the press release, I am pleased to say that #3 on my list, Traffic Jam Assist, *is* available in a package on the Limited grade. The prototype vehicle did not include the driver monitor camera(s) so I assumed the feature was missing. Also #5 is available in a package.
Why won’t they offer the Signia (aka Estate) with the nice gold paint showcased in Japan? That dull gray blue is cheap looking. Poor choice for the video and reveal.
