Hey, I want to thank you for all the videos and the time you put in to the editing. Love all of the cultural references. The company I worked for back in the early 80's used to use these mini's to move live rockets from building to building. Been wanting to get one for the farm. Peace!
Haha, yes! Have to put "UTV recovery vehicle" or something. Think I should ask what to say on next videos.. gonna put some vinyl on it eventually. Thinking all in Japanese writing... Idk
MotoCheez I find it hilarious that you use the Mr Slave every time you say Jesus Christ. My wife hates me because I say Jesus Christ on purpose exactly the way he does Lolol

I spent a winter in SE Asia in ‘91. These Dihatsu Mini trucks were everywhere and were used for every purpose. They came in 3-4 sizes too....the smallest were @ 250cc and had 3-lug hubs. The largest had 6-lug hubs and were considered 1 ton trucks.
You can get the one ton Isuzu in America still badged as Chevy 3500 low forward cab Mitsubishi still sells the canter here but not sure on there smallest gvw mine is a fuso 14000lb I can haul 4000lbs with dump.
DUDE! keep em coming! The one I am getting comes with an ATV bull bar, seeing you do this makes me know exactly how to mount this without even looking at it!
Man I don't know how I got to your page but dude I'm sure glad I did. This is great! That air intake though, would definitely look in to building a snorkel!
I was inspired to import a truck from your build. It's a 94 Mitsubishi minicab TL with 5 speed 4x4hilo. And even though the Daihatsu looks identical from the outside, I can tell the frame goes all the way to the very front as I was looking under there for making a front hitch and tow bar. I ordered the Harleys springs and some 22 inch forceum m/t light truck tires so far. Plan on painting and maybe adding a few lights and a rear hitch to go with the front hitch, might even make a UA-cam series on it. Thanks for all your ideas on your crazy mini truck adventure

Lol, yeah. Love these step drills, these are the cheap ones so if you don't keep hogging steel it dulls. The winch should be double the weight of vehicle so yeah, I have plenty!
how hard would one of these be to put it on the suzuki carry? my minitrucks not even here yet and my shopping cart is filling up haha, love all your videos, they definitely helped me see the value of these nice little trucks
Subbed u'r channel just now... like... almost fell out of my chair lol'l vehicle entry wrong door, can't even think of how many times I'd do the same thing...If I had one of those little BOB's. Kinda wonder what it might be like to electrify one...hmm👍👍👍😎
Also I’ve been wondering about UTV portal boxes for one of these trying too see if I can rig up some thing or if anyone has made them for one of these little bastards, they have gotten really popular in UTV’s lately but think one these with them be cool and think I’ve seen where some of them have PTO’s??? That could be cool like a mini unamog.
MotoCheez cool,I could have sworn I heard the dude you bought from say something about PTO, not on yours but I’ll go back take look see if I can find out, wondering about that and the diesel models. Thanks again.
That bumper looks good like the small stinger bar!cant wait to get one of these trucks, want to make mine a mini expedition type rig with like a work truck style roof/bed rack.got find a way to not make the stuff I want to heavy though. What is the GVW on this one any idea?? Thanks for posting all this also! IF space allows inside, make two bigger plates for the bolts that have (at center) a strap that goes to the floor (and the tie in rail structure). Even if it's crooked, it's better than to rely on the tub structure. That, has no structural value at all, it's the crumple zone (+legs).

Sorry another question, would this work on the Suzuki mini truck? My radiator is in the very front of the truck I don’t know if that changes anything with the mounting or?
Took about 3 hours. Hardest part Is finding good places to mount the underside metal brackets. I didn't go to the strut rod bolts because I'm using that for when I do my 2" front receiver for the plow. Then it's all tied in solid!!

you should add a snorkal. its unnecessary however I think it would be pretty cool!
A ton of people are saying to snorkel it, I should see if there's a way to do it
