just wanted to say a big thanks you for your video. I am a new DIYer in UK and bought this saw on amazon. The instructions that came with it were rubbish and didn't help that my husband but the blade in the wrong was...doh! After watching your video i can report the blade is now in correctly and the saw is no longer smoking. Thanks so much
Wife got me one about 2 years back, didnt get a great deal of use until recently, demolished a garden shed with it, made garden planters with it, chopped wood for a garden heater with it. Recently we have started the process of refurbishing our kitchen, floor was 1/2 inch ply, screwed down to a wooden plank floor at 10" centers, with tile adhered to it using a PVA based grout/adhesive. Hammer chisel wouldn't shift it, Tiles would crack when hit with a hammer but stay adhered. The Worxsaw and a diamond blade allowed me to set the depth to cut along the grout lines, through the underlaying plywood without cutting into the floorboards. Tried at first just using a wood blade but touch a screw or the side of a tile and a wood blade is trash, one diamond blade cut through tile, grout, ply, screws and then allowed the floor to be prised up in sections. Great little tool.

I've used one of these daily for 3 years building subwoofer boxes cutting 3/4" birch plywood and 3/4" MDF and it's still going strong. I've only changed the blade once in that time and it still cuts quickly, it does have a slower start than when I bought it tho but I'd say it's pretty durable considering I've left it outside and in the rain dozens of times

Because the price of wood is so expensive I'm going scavenging through the neighboorhood for a wood pallet this weekend and make a cool garden like yours. Thanks again!
Awesome video. I was able to follow your instructions to cut my pavers. My first time using a compact circular saw with the diamond blade. It went very well. Definately need earmuffs. The machine's pretty loud and intimidating but once you get the hang of it, it's nice and easy.

Actually one of the best price to utility tools. You can cut any material with a single tool. So much more price and especially time and effort efficient compared to hand saws.

Quick side note…. Being in my 50’s and having to learn how to do things around the house myself so late in life is not an easy task. If not for videos like this I would have to hire someone! Please do more videos on everyday fixes around the house lol I just changed out my dryer drum myself and could not have done it without a UA-cam video!! Great review, good communication and presentation skills. And love the G shock. i used one of these that was laying around a shop I was building some walls in and it was pretty handy. I did not know till then they made compact circular saws that did real work and will probably swap one in place of my 7 1/4 cordless that is taking up to much space in my roll out bag for the use it gets.

I jus got a worx exactrax for Xmas and it was shipped from menards as a display model.... No blade in the box and 1000 hands been all over it so its going back cuz I was interested in this one. I like this saw better so today im going in for an exchange. I have about 7 different worx 20v powershare tools and love every one of them so I'll be adding this one to my collection. Also got the hard to find 18G brad nailer and that thing is awesome!!! Thanks for the helpful video for making my decision easy. 😁
Bought one recently. The user manual is ehhh. So I searched online for a good instructional video on its use in the event there were any shortcomings. You covered e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Everything.

Ive been using the corded version of this saw for years, and completely stopped using full size circular saw. It cuts anything from a 2x4 down with ease, and it is far easier to make precise strait cuts than a conventional saw.

I appreciated your video during the time I was checking for some reviews on this particular unit. So thanks for that.
I also wanted to convey that after now owning it and being able to use it myself that I've come to the conclusion that your method of using two hands and also advising your viewers to always place their finger on that hook near the base is wrongly advised.
Why? Well it's very dangerous for starters during kickbacks. At the same time I've watched all the official videos on this unit and they all show that you can operate this unit single handedly (you don't need to use two hands) at the same time without having to use that hook.
Think of it like when using a triangle square to make a quick straight cut. You'll need a free hand to hold the triangle at the same time the saw.
That hook is only to be used when you don't have a battery in place and you want to visually set the depth of the blade when unsure how thick the wood is when not having a measuring tape at hand so you can later set the proper size depth and etc.
So the proper way (and safest) is to press down on the unit so the blade starts to cut. And of course, it should already be spinning prior to pressing the unit down and etc. in
Even when you want to do a drop cut, never use that hook, just press the unit down until the saw starts to cut and continue like that until you've completed the cut.
Just thought I'd share that since I hope you or any of your viewers don't risk cutting their index finger off and etc.
I don't blame you, WORX needs to do a better job in illustrating this in their manuals--since they tend to leave many details out. Maybe these important details gets lost in the translaion...
Tina, thank you for confirming my thoughts too. In playing around with the saw in the store, I found that it was not necessary nor a good idea to use that finger pull pointed out in the video. Otherwise the video was great.

Will it cut 2×4's?. Looking at getting a small saw for a couple of quick projects. Looks like this might be it. Great video. You explained everything well.
I think the cutting depth is 2 inches, so it should work for 2x4.
It does cut 2"x4".

I've never grew up with a dad, now a dad myself I'm trying to get into DIY so I can pass it on to my kids, i have a big allotment and needed a saw to Cut an old wooden fence and build a shed, i have zero experience and building a shed its a massive ambition of mine and I'm willing to finish it. Unfortunately, my Worx compact circular saw isn’t battery-less; cord connection. But, ur video helped me in how to load blade, and do (plank) cutting.
Great video, thank you ! I have become a Worx fan because of the compatability of their tools using their Power Share system even with their Landroid robotic lawnmowers, which eg Husqvarna lack, and because they offer great quality at competitive prices. That is enough for me to opt for Worx products, and the only feature that I miss is the compatability of their batteries with other brands which other companies are starting to offer via the cas system, but that issue could probably be solved by using an adapter. May I suggest that you include the reference number of the product in the title of the video.
