- In this video I will show you a little secret snorkel spot in Falmouth Cornwall. We will also find out why I can be dangerous snorkelling around rocks in waves. So I found a little secret snorkel spot just off from Falmouth’s coastline. However it was very choppy. It’s probably best to only snorkel here on calm days.!! Cornwall my home.

If you ever get over Padstow way, Big Guns Cove off Harlyn Bay is a great hidden beach. It's got a seam of fools gold embedded into some of the rocks on the beach and a really great fish population with a deep channel and loads of shallows and shelves. and it's only accessible via the water so makes for a great relaxing quiet afternoon. I take a picnic in my drysack and make an afternoon of it!

Recently discovered your amazing vids, Having snorkeled and dived around when I was younger you definitely only want to do that in a very calm conditions, some brilliant sealife during the summer months, try going out from the huge gully (think it's called Dead man's gully) near there, but watch out for the big conger eel under the huge flat rock,, (it won't hurt you)

The place where you snorkelled is actually great at low tide and a bit further round! Remains of a German U-boat near to the coast, and seals often seen!

@@LoveSundays yes had a full 5mm suit and hood 2mm gloves and boots. Was warm enough was in for about an hour water was 10c.

Yes I was lovely. The issue was the open water didn’t really have anything to see so I had to go around the rocks to see anything decent and then the waves destroyed me 😆

@@LoveSundays is it for the iPhone 11 or 12? I’ve been searching for one to fit a 12 but all the websites that claim to have it seem super dodgy.
@@eekdestroy5329 it’s for the iPhone 11 I got it off Amazon. They’re not the easiest to get over here in the UK because if you got directly to the polar pro website I don’t think they ship internationally. The case with the grip and the filter was about £130 I think. Polar pro might ship internationally now though. It might be worth a look.
